Crowne Plaza - West Loop, an IHG Hotel, Chicago1 / 29
8.7
Chicago, 25 S Halsted St 🧭 Map
Great location for west loop and fulton market. All bars, restaurants and even grocery store within walking distance. The rooms are a little bit dated but everything is clean and the bed very comfy.
The location is perfect. I liked the balcony. The front staff is so kind. I will visit again.
Comfortable rooms, that are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. I love the Rye restaurant, as their bagels and breakfasts are delicious. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby is also a nice touch.
Staff was so polite and inviting. Will definitely be back
The location is excellent, right on the edge of Chicago Financial City, an 8-minute walk to the Sears Tower, and a short bridge to the Chicago Center. The rooms are OK, but a little old, and the lobby is basically at the level of a domestic homestay. In other words, Crowne Plaza is basically a three-star hotel in the United States, and has nothing to do with the five-star hotels in China.
Clean and tidy, with complete facilities

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the rest of my visit. The value for money at this establishment is unbeatable - offering top-notch amenities and service at a fraction of the cost of other hotels in the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast experience...
Lovely hotel close to Michigan Ave. Spacious rooms with a full fridge & stove top. Only issue we had was that the bottom sheet was too small & would keep popping off the mattress. A housekeeper would have noticed this when making the bed, because it was almost impossible to get it on. Thank you to Jade, who had a wonderful smile every time I came to the desk. It made me feel very welcome & not a bother...
I have been to Chicago 4x for work and have stayed at 4 different hotels each time. I have yet to find one that I thought was good enough to come back to. I think the Residence Inn might be the one. First, the front desk staff are so nice. I checked in around 11am and they had a room for me. I even got an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite! The room is very nice, the water pressure absolutely phenomenal...
I am ADA. The ADA room we are in is perfect. I can walk now up to a block however last year I couldn’t walk across the room. So.. if you are absolutely wheelchairbound please consider staying here. Even the bed is lower for perfect transfer. We travel a lot and I’ve never felt more accommodated. The laundry room takes credit cards and the machines are new. There is a comfy place to wait for your...
The location is great. There is a bus stop right outside. It takes five minutes to walk to the theater to watch Les Miserables. You can cook in the room. The breakfast is also good. The parking fee is a little expensive, but it is acceptable in Chicago. I will go there again next time.
The room is big and the bed is comfortable. The main thing is that the carpet is dark red and looks dirty easily. In fact, it is quite clean. The sanitation is cleaned every day. There is a 7-11 downstairs and Target is a few blocks away, so shopping is very convenient. In the center of downtown, not far from all major attractions, the location is unbeatable

Overpriced for its tiny room. The room was hot even with the air conditioner on because the only window in the room has a small opening on the bottom. Location wise it was good with a grocery store across the street.
The room was TINY. It only fit a queen bed and a desk. Breakfast was good.
The hotel staffs are fantastic and kind considerate with care
Stayed here during the marathon weekend. Walking distance about 2KM to start line
A great hotel location. Very near to magnificent mile and all other attraction like the dusable bridge & the bean. Very accessible to public transportation highly recommended. The free breakfast was great and the staff was awesome.

Staff is lovely, cafe is great for quick breakfast, very close to everything we wanted to see. The hotel seems safe and pretty well maintained for the most part, its clean. The beds are really hard but I love the pillows. There is not much sound proofing from the outside, I travel with a white noise machine and was glad. That stopped us from hearing the traffic. The bathtubs are huge, the prices are...
Great deal! Super close to downtown. I love that there was free parking. I lived in Chicago for 10 years on a work assignment and had a chance to see how the area has evolved for the better. I came back in town for a funeral and to check on one of my rental properties and this place popped up on Orbitz website. I never noticed it before but I'm glad I found it. This will be my go-to place when coming...
This Hotel Is Wonderful!! The Staff Was Friendly The Rooms Were Very Comfortable And Clean. The Bathroom Was Nice Too. Also Loved The Free Parking. Definitely Would Recommend This Hotel To My Friends. Peace And Quiet With Everything From Restaurants And Downtown Within A 10 min Radius. Will Stay Here Again.
If staying on a weekend, get to the hotel before the parking lot fills up or your free parking is around the block or in the street. Bring beverages because the machines on every floor tend to be sold out quickly. The staff is very nice, both desk and maintenance. Breakfast in the coffee shop was wonderful...Very Friendly and nicely priced.. and your room has one of the nicest showers around.
Staying for a Chicago vacation and the hotel is delightful. Free parking and wifi, close access to the highway for quick access to your desired destinations, quiet atmosphere (distant rumble of trains and cars but nothing that was bothersome), and a cafe where breakfast can be made fresh for you. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice room. Staff very patient with us. One of our students lost a piece of jewelry and they recovered it for us. Very easy parking. Walking distance to good food, red line, and Wintrust Arena.

The location and Apt are amazing; Wi-Fi in the rooms a bit slow. Breakfast is not that good, but not bad. Staff and nice and friendly. The only thing is I stayed there for 10 days, they never vacuumed the room or clean it properly. Overall, I highly recommend
We stayed for a week and were delighted with our stay. Our large room was on the 17th floor with a pretty nice view. The kitchen area is very practical so you don't have to go to the restaurant all the time. The wifi works very well. The kitchen is not very well equipped but reception provided us with what we were missing. The hotel is extremely well located, within walking distance of all the major...
The room was huge, the sofa had holes, and it was old. They need to upgrade the design and the furniture of the room. The bed was comfy. They don’t provide water and toothbrush for their guests. They have limited food for their breakfast. Our stay was fine.
Very close to the lake and very safe
There is a refrigerator kitchen in the suite, and all kitchen utensils are fully prepared. The environment is elegant, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, and the traffic is very convenient. It is very suitable for business trips and vacation travel.

Great location. Its in the heart of the downtown. But house keeping service is pretty slow. And breakfast is very monotonous. We had stayed 4 days, all days exactly same spread. Amazing hotel of Chicago. Since it's nearby Michigan lake, it is really good to jog along lakeside. Hotel was clean, tidy and comfy.
The Best Western Grant Park was a great stay. Not only were they accommodating by allowing us to check in early, but they also upgraded our room complimentary! The staff was extremely nice as well. We had great experiences staying here for several nights. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel has its own parking lot and is dog friendly. It’s very convenient to walk to Michigan Ave and other popular places. I like the design of its lobby. A great place to have fun with friends.
I came here for the first time a couple months ago and loved it. While the hotel itself is unique and fun, what really stood out to me was the service, especially from Andrés. Luxurious apartment suite, new, clean. Spacious rooms with comfy king size beds and nice pillows.Very helpful staff.
It was a cute little place to stay, especially for a layover or just a weekend. Their coffee is pretty good (and free!) And they have a pretty okay breakfast spread.
Really friendly staff and clean rooms. Parking (valet) was $35 which is pretty standard for Chicago. They had our car waiting for us in the morning when it was time to leave. The address is very good. It's right in the city center. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Navy Pier. Cloud Gate is further away. The breakfast is okay. American breakfast is relatively simple. This one is pretty good.
The hotel is close to the city center, it is very convenient to get in and out, there are many famous restaurants around, the hotel environment is pretty good, but the room price is too small, it feels oppressive, the sound insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear the sound of the corridor and the police cars passing by on the road outside Sound, I guess I won't stay next time, I still prefer hotels...

Great location and clean rooms. Robin made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. We called down 2 times for different reasons (more pillows and a blow dryer) and both were handled quickly. I really appreciate Robin's kind and bubbly personality each morning. Breakfast was good. Coffee was even better. Shout out to the cleaning staff and breakfast staff. You guys do a wonderful job!
Stayed at this location for 6 days. Great location, near the pink line and red lines. Breakfast was pretty standard for a free hot breakfast. Great location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Elevators are small and can be slow, but this should be expected in an older building. The breakfast had a good variety of food and drinks. Had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Was in town for a quick trip and the location
The accommodation location is very convenient. There are supermarkets and small stores nearby, and there is also a non-24-hour McDonald's next to it. It can be said to be quite convenient. Breakfast provides a simple American breakfast, including milk, wheat, three simple side dishes and waffles.

I liked this hotel. The price is very affordable and it is in quite good condition. Especially, the front desk staff was very kind and nice. I would come here again!
The taxi driver I met at the front desk was always an old black man, a black car, and he didn't want to give change after I gave him the money. It cost 50 US dollars for 23 kilometers, and he asked for 80 US dollars. I arranged a 30 US dollar tip for myself. It's ridiculous. The hotel service experience is very poor

I stayed here while visiting the University of Chicago. The location is great, as you can walk to the university. The room was very clean, spacious, and very clean. I felt a little bit like I was in a luxury room.
Quite satisfied, the waiter is enthusiastic and likes to chat. He enthusiastically introduced Chicago's food and culture, and even gave us some performance information! Had a great stay here about a week ago. The rooftop restaurant and bar were really nice and I thought it was pretty awesome that you can order anything you want and just take it to your room. Super convenient and relaxing stay
The hotel is ok. Typical Hyatt Place in a nice area. Got charged twice for 1 night valet parking, 90$ total. When inquiring about the second charge at checkout, the agent responded, without explanation, that the charge would go away. It didn't go away. After sending numerous emails to customer service, all I got back is a copy of the wrong bill. It's been 2 weeks after my stay. I am a loyal Hyatt member...
Terrific staff! Nice rooftop bar and lobby. Pretty good breakfast buffet and good location. My only issue was that our room was on the same side as North Avenue and staying on a weekend night had a fair amount of street noise (loud stereos & motorcycles) that we could hear from our fourth floor room. When considering ths cost of other hotels nearby, it's a really good value. We stayed in a small room with bunk beds, which was clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at the Found Hotel. Love the decor, the lobby is great, the bar next door is fun too. The water pressure is amazing. The communal kitchen is a giant plus. Our only complaint is that there was a column in our bedroom, room 202, and one of us had to climb over it to get into bed.

Since the reservation was made only 6 days in advance, and it was almost fully-booked, I was given a room that's somewhat handicap-accessible. The only 2 issues I had were that there's a bar on the wall behind the toilet, and it prevents the seat from staying up. The other issue is that the water from the shower seeps out and sprays across the floor, a few feet out from the stall.
Great Hotel This is our go-to hotel when we visit Chicago. Union station is about three blocks away and there are many restaurants and coffee places near by. The Canopy restaurant is a nice place to get a drink and dinner and the bartenders Kevin and Paul are very nice. We will definitely stay here again.
Good location to reach out all science places. Giordano’s deep dish pizza is very near from hotel. Walking 5 mins to Skydeck Chicago building.
The room is moderately sized, and the sanitary environment and facilities are all good. It is very close to the train station. There is a famous chain pizza restaurant at the door of the hotel. Pretty good location and a classic hotel. Being classic it's also dated. Nice view of the park, and quite clean, but not the best room to do work in all day. Easy walk to the art institute. No AC, pay for refrigerator, free WiFi one day only. Great lobby though, there were people doing a photo shoot on the couches for an album, I can see why!
I thought this place was nice. Staff was nice, plaza was nice, room was a little rough though. Cracks in wall and ceiling. I understand it’s an older building but rooms could use some work. But the great rate we got on the room made up for the small defects.
The hotel has a very charming old feel to it. We got a lake side view room, and the view out the window is great, especially at sunrise! The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff interactions have all been pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a great location in the heart of Chicago. The lobby has a well-maintained elegance from an earlier time. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean with a great view of Grant Park and Lake Michigan. If you look hard enough, there are piecemeal repairs to the room and hallways--it's not all brand-spanking new, but well worth the price. I would definitely stay here again.
For what we paid for it, the room was well worth it. But the room was oddly monochrome (everything was painted white). The furniture was white and the bedspread was white and the curtains were (you guessed it) white. I wish I'd taken a picture, because looking back, it's kind of funny.
