Room has good space, bathroom is small. The TV is not aligned with the bed, making it a little difficult for you to watch TV. I liked the pillows, they are all made of feathers, extremely comfortable
The front desk lady, Melissa was so pleasant on our arrival, answered all of our questions, and was so courteous and professional. Her warm greeting was a great start to our vacation
Room cleaning is good, not excellent, but for housekeeping to deliver a room in 30 minutes, as a rule, it's great. I think it's worth the value for money!
The location is perfect: so close to millennium park and the metro. It was very easy to walk to travel to restaurants, museums, and attractions
If you want a newer and modern looking room it will not fit your choice as all rooms are very congested and older looking. If you are into vintage and historical stuff it's definitely worth it
It is indeed a nice historic building showing nice structure and entrance lobby is actually impressive with nice bar, restaurants and cafe

Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel ? and convenient to local parks, the fountain, and restaurants. Staff were all very nice and helpful if I needed anything. Fitness center was probably the nicest one I've ever seen in a hotel
The front desk was very friendly and helpful in not only checking-in but also providing me with a map pointing out the main attractions surrounding the hotel. My room was one with three windows facing the lake
Great hotel which was originally the Conrad Hilton. The State of Illinois Pharmacy Board Exam was held here at one time. Upscale hotel with lots of amenities. Very nice rooms, good food, and great views
Located on the magnificent mile, Michigan Avenue in the heart of Chicago. There are a number of attractions within walking distance of the hotel and of course you can always hale a cab
Attended an event here at the Grand ballroom. The hotel is beautiful and the Grand ballroom even more so. The walls and ceiling were covered in paintings and ornate molding
The service was very attentive and the drinks we were served were great. The dinner was delicious too, especially for a catered event. The beef was cooked nicely and the sauces and seasonings were on point

We were under the impression there was a sauna but I was unsuccessful in locating it. I always love a hot tub but you will have make do with a pool
When we contacted the front desk at least three times they provided detailed information that was so useful and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. This location has everything we could have hoped for
The rooms: Well appointed and meticulously clean. If you can get a room on a high floor, worth the extra money. Check out the views from my south-facing room! Not to mention the easy access to the lakefront
We had two adults in our room and one of the queens was more like a small double bed. It wasn’t an issue but if it were my family we would not have fit. Easy access to the conference center or downtown
Just thankful to get to experience such great customer service. The restaurant on site has delicious burgers and wings. The gym is well thought out with beautiful views as well
I typically don't right reviews at hotels but I was so impressed with how well this location takes care of you even while there is several large events taking place

Nothing spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable which is ultimately all that I’m looking for in a hotel room. *** location is pretty darn good too! Walking distance to great shopping stores and good restaurants
Conveniently located, shops and restaurants are a short walk. I love hotel rooms like this-clean, fresh smell, comfortable beds and pillows, cool airconditioning
5 star hotel to us! The hotel was perfect. Hannah and Pauline at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The lobby/lounge area was eco, good food and a nice vibe
There used to be a pool, but there isn't one anymore, as the space was given up to a second fitness center
It’s nice to come back and have a restful evening when the day is done. Even though there was a convention when we were there, our room was quite and we did not hear noise from other rooms
The hotel itself was clean and up to date in terms of amenities. But my absolute favorite feature is the Fitness Center - FANTASTIC !!! I should also note that the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

The location is perfect walking distance to shopping, restaurants and Navy Pier. Mike (I believe he is the doorman) was the BEST!! He was so friendly, kind and helpful. He recommended a great place for breakfast
The bed was so comfortable which I appreciated. You can sit outside along the river and watch the boats go by. Nice little band playing near the lobby inside. All the staff was polite and helpful
Spectacular downtown Chicago hotel. Excellent service, well appointed room, fast WiFi. Was here for a conference and the conference rooms are nice as well. Downstairs cafe is nice if uninspired
Impressed with this place! Very nice hotel at an affordable price! Our room had a riverfront view which I recommend! The room was very clean and even smelled very nice when we walked in
Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Mike until we checked out. The place is absolutely beautiful with great amenities and a great view
Only visited for a conference, but the venue was beautifully maintained and served very well. The conference rooms were a bit small, but the pros were well worth it

Very nice staff at the front desk that let us upgrade our room to a lake view and check in early for a very small fee
I enjoyed everything about this historic hotel. Lady at front desk was friendly, funny, and helpful. Shared info about the supposed haunted room in one of the many wings of this huge hotel
Lobby was gorgeous and even had a pool table. Room seemed to have been recently updated, with comfy beds. Although it was a bit smaller the ceilings were extremely high giving it a more spacious feel
The bathroom has multiple shelves perfect for ladies needing room for toiletries and makeup on their stay! The view was also beautiful from the 5th floor. Would stay at this hotel again
This is a great location in the heart of Chicago. The lobby has a well-maintained elegance from an earlier time. The room was very clean with a great view of Grant Park and Lake Michigan
The hotel has a very charming old feel to it. We got a lake side view room, and the view out the window is great, especially at sunrise! The place is clean and the bed is comfortable

I visited Chicago for the first time last week and I stayed in this hotel. When I had booked it I accidentally booked for the wrong day and the hotel was able to accommodate me so that I could stay the night I arrived
Whenever possible I stay at Westin and whenever back in Chicago this is the only day place I will consider
Bar downstairs was nice and waiter was friendly. Starbucks inside the hotel which helps in the cold weather. Good size fitness center and good location for shopping. Only thing that can use little updating is lobby
The James is a better location on the Magnificent Mile, however, if you want to be treated with that extra specialness from the staff, stay at the Westin. We were treated so good! All those guys out front, they rock
The hotel is very clean, room was nicely decorated and had a great view of downtown area , plenty of room with a comfortable bed, and all the employees were very friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. A nice, clean, hotel in the heart of Michigan Avenue

The pool is great almost to the point of being unreal. My only complaint is that you really couldn't use the refrigerator because it was full of overpriced "snacks" and booze
Really nothing to complain about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and fitness center was a blast. If you are on the top floor the view is amazing
All in all, I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good holiday. Thank you intercontinental hotel!! ??
Great hotel with central location for touring. This is a great place for a family as the pool and spa area is very nice, large, and indoor- important for the climate most months. Competitive rates for quality of hotel
We visited the Eno wine bar located in the front side by Michigan Avenue. The wine bar shares the same entrance as the Michael Jordan restaurant. Decent selection of wines and we'll known for their flights
A modern hotel and a great place to stay again and again! All facilities, food and staff were excellent and engaging. In addition, all my four days of stay in your hotel were worth it and gave me pleasure

It's in downtown Chicago, and the Quincy subway station is literally around the corner, offering service on the Orange, Brown, Pink and Green lines. Viviana, the guest services agent who checked me in, was very nice
It was pleasant even with some exterior construction happening during the day. Large lounge and sitting area. Room had some dust and terrible view, but those were just unlucky things
Along with my massage therapist, CoCo and the other ladies who worked at the spa: Susan and Patricia. I recommend and will stay here again!
Excellency in room maintenance and services. The most clean room and comfort beds in downtown. Hard to find a speck even in any corner of the room. Liked the all marble decor bathroom and super friendly front desk
Wonderful staff and updated room with giant bathroom. I didn't hear anyone in the adjacent rooms (or further ones) or the hallway. There was a leaky toilet, which is a part of life that hotels don't get rid of
They noticed that I was limping the took the time to ask if I need any help. Then they brought up a wheelchair and move me to my room. Few minutes later a manger called me and is if I need any help

The full breakfast was especially good and had a great spread with meat, cheese, and both hot and cold dishes. Skip the valet parking at $71 and grab a spot at a nearby underground garage
The room was huge (very suite-like), and the various food services 4 times per day kept us full and saved us from eating out at pricey restaurants
Very comfortable bed, immaculate room, spacious restroom, Nestcafe coffee maker, and fancy soaps and shampoos. Hotel was spotless.
Easily accessible from everything downtown. We upgraded for just $30 to a beautiful room with a view of the lake. Well worth it!!
Fantastic property as one would expect. We were offered a paid upgrade to Gold level prior to arrival and took it. If you get the chance, I'd highly recommend Gold if the price is right
The service was excellent. Very helpful front desk. The room was very nice. The location is in walking distance to many hit spots. Overall great experience!

I only went to the bar which was semi-dimly lit and had a turn of the 29th century vibe. Which added that much more ambiance once the pianist and singer started playing music
It was very delicious - their scones and sandwiches have gotten even better than the last time I went a few years ago! The scones were warm, the sandwiches (of about 4 varieties) were perfectly sized and yummy, and the tea was very good
Upon arriving there were several men who stood outside pushing the revolving doors or hailing cabs or valet parking for guests. They are adequately staffed and because of that alone their service seems prepped to the T
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. I was there for the third time for Afternoon Tea in Palm Court at the Drake Hotel
I had done that online before our trip, and on travel day, I got an email that reservation was canceled. I called, and the lady helped to rebook me. We got to Chicago, but knew we would be late
Hotel staff was very nice, and it was great being able to check in at lunch time. Hotel is well located at the north end of the mile, and made walking to most places easy

Nice hotel in a great location overlooking Lake Michigan with spectacular panoramic views, convenient to public transportation, next to a huge park full of squirrels for a leisurely stroll, and you can also explore downtown on foot
It is so woven into the atmosphere of this hotel that it is simply incredible! Every single employee I came into contact with dropped everything and anything they were doing to meet ANY guest's NEED or request
The staff at this hotel bring a culture of excellence in customer service to this hotel
I wish there was a 10 star option. This hotel is the only place I need in Chicago. I hope the senior management of this hotel reads this review and thanks all the employees in this building!
Good facilities and helpful staff, recommended thanks to all the staff from Italy
4-20-2018 I spent the day with the love of my life. The W Hotel was beautiful, clean & very spacious. It's located in a very convenient area near restaurants and local attractions. The staff was very polite & welcoming

I loved the location of the hotel. We had a suite and the vriws we're incredible. They have a convenient store and bar. Both we used and we're happy with. The pool was cold! But we were able to heat up in a sauna after
Clean room, conveniently located to merchandise Mart, nice pool and workout room. Paid extra to have great view of Chicago but view isnt awesome from my room
I think the best part was the concierge she was so helpful and gave us tips and coupons to places i wish i knew her name. The only downfall is no hot tub in pool area
I assume floors 20 through 23 rooms 12 through 26 has the better view because they are looking east (?) While rooms 28+ is looking south onto railroad tracks and lesser buildings. Example 2123 must be better than 2128
I've stayed here a few times now. It's very convenient if you're working in the Merchandise Mart, since it's connected. This hotel looks great and is similar to any other Holiday Inn that I've stayed at
Entrance was a bit confusing and would of been nice to be told were our room was at. But the room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was perfect

It's a grand experience. Lavish, modern and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom shower had great pressure, the toiletries were aromatic. Overall, very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!
The staff was friendlier and more helpful than any hotel i've ever been to, the hospitality was truly above any and all expectations i could have had
Everything was so perfect. The staff treats you like royalty. The rooms are in excellent shape. The rooms are also very modern. This will be my go to place whenever I come home to Chicago.
This hotel is everything they say it is. Excellent service! Everyone is willing to help. When our room wasn't ready for an early check-in, they upgraded us, and the room was phenomenal
Me and my girlfriend's went to the Chocolate Bar and it was lovely. Service was amazing. Chocolate was amazing. Everything was really special. Will definitely be going back.
I never stay there but whenever Janet Jackson is in town, the Peninsula Hotel is where she like to stay. And it has great! reviews and, it has a five star restaurant.

I was able to see the pool below, garage across the street and some buildings nearby. The decor is very much that millennial modern with light earth tones. The bathroom did not have a fan so showers fog up the mirror
You will hear everything going on outside; cars, police, ambulances, the people in the pool, everything. Bathroom Fixtures: The faucet worked well, good flow
I’ve seen a total air dry faster than this tubs drain. A shower of 20 minutes ends up being a bath for your ankles. And yes the supper was fully extended up. The Hothouse Lounge: I had the quesadilla, it’s as great
Location: This is the best part of the hotel. It’s walking distance to the Navy Pier, the river, Target, 2 pharmacies, river tours, etc. Egg Harbor Cafe and Yolk are close and great options for breakfast
The bathroom it’s self was constantly 4-6 degrees warmer than the rest of the room regardless of use. THERE IS NO NOICE DAMPING ON THE WINDOWS. If your a light sleeper bring a white noise machine
Some trash in the bathroom garbage and the one of the 2 glass cups they gave you seems used. The beds were clean, as well as the toilet, sink, and tub. Room: The view I had wasn’t great

We had a few drinks downstairs where the atmosphere was quiet and nice for our group of 7. There was one TV for the one or two of us that we're watching football as well
To be honest, it's great because you are near the freeway and near the airport
Definitely not recommended for kids but maybe more couples and business people because it's beautiful, quiet and very clean and of course the atmosphere is very calming
The room itself was very clean and spacious. The shower system is a spout with two heads, which is very nice
The best part is that this hotel is pet friendly, no commission and no deposit! Our husky had a good time getting lots of treats from the staff
I would even stay there myself if I had an operation

We booked the Hyatt Centric Loop by mistake and after spending 5 minutes at check in interacting with staff and examining the property we called Hyatt, booked the one on Magnificent Mile, called a Lyft and never looked back
Not sure if this hotel is a franchise using the Hyatt name but it is far below Hyatt's normal standards for professionalism, service and standards
They were so nice and friendly. We had room 732 it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. If I ever go back to Chicago again I will definitely try to get a room with them
A little on the small side but fair. Fitness area was great and provided everything I need while away from my home gym. Worth the money for sure and I will be booking again
The staff and amenities at this hotel are exceptional. By far the best Hyatt property in the area
Normally, while traveling we don't get all gussied up and fancy so when we checked in and found out this was a very business feeling hotel, we were amazed by how thoughtfully and respectfully the staff treated us, despite the fact we didn't "look the part

And the AC that actually works based on temperature and mode you set it to. There is a safe in the room! Many hotels in the US do not. And there are really so many more and more
I enjoyed my stay at the W Chicago. It seems like the renovations have wrapped up (common complaint about the hotel) I also did not find the rooms to be overly dated. My room was modern, large, and comfortable
Super friendly staff. Always a smile, greeted when entering and wished well as leaving. Room service was top notch too. The rooms are pretty modern. Definitely trendy. I'd stay here again.
Luckily the windows open in the room so that I could get a bit of fresh air! Neither of my complaints were a deal breaker, I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Chicago
Would like to take the time to write a review of the W City Center Hotel located on Adams Street in Chicago
I didn't care for the loud, club-like atmosphere in the lobby/bar, nor did I like the heavy use of air freshener in the room

Sunsets in Chicago are simply amazing when viewed from the 37th floor. The bedding was soft and good quality and the bed was very comfortable
They are also very generous with their amenities and the smell of white tea, rosemary and mint also permeated the hotel and also continued this theme in the shower products and lotions. We are very pleased with our stay
My only minor, and I repeat minor, complaints are that the TV system is sub-par, and I had to contact maintenance several times to fix it. When I did have to call them, they showed up quickly and were courteous
The location of this hotel is excellent, not far from all the places I needed on that trip. Very clean, bright and large room. The staff helped me to solve several important points for me. Definitely a five!
I love the four seasons spa, lizette is the best for manicure and pedicure!!! You must ask for her !!The whole staff is wonderful, ordered lunch having their house made hot dog !!yummy ! Can't say enough wonderful things about the spa and staff ! When I left I rode the elevator with a four seasons employee that I thought might be a guest, such awesome manners and kindness and had worked with lizette...
