Room has good space, bathroom is small. Bed is comfortable. The TV is not aligned with the bed, making it a little difficult for you to watch TV. I liked the pillows, they are all made of feathers, extremely comfortable. Internet is very good. Rooms need to be upgraded. Room cleaning is good, not excellent, but for housekeeping to deliver a room in 30 minutes, as a rule, it's great. I think it's worth...
The location of the Hotel is perfect from all the other attractions around the downtown. It is indeed a nice historic building showing nice structure and entrance lobby is actually impressive with nice bar, restaurants and cafe. If you want a newer and modern looking room it will not fit your choice as all rooms are very congested and older looking. If you are into vintage and historical stuff it's...
Stunning historic, well located space near the Chicago Art Institute. Lots of hard working hotel staff who create an enjoyable experience, however, they can only do so much within the constraints they are given. Their grab and go has B to C+ food; furniture is fraying and hasn't been repaired in some areas. All food service is cut off at 9pm. In room snacks are $9 for Smart Water; $12 for nuts and...
I had a great experience. The location is perfect: so close to millennium park and the metro. It was very easy to walk to travel to restaurants, museums, and attractions. The front desk lady, Melissa was so pleasant on our arrival, answered all of our questions, and was so courteous and professional. Her warm greeting was a great start to our vacation. The room was clean and comfortable, the house...
I loved the hotel. Easy to find great location. The hotel is a classic, so many areas are very elegant and grand. Some areas show their age, but none are the crucial ones. Rooms can be on the smaller side, but I did not mind. I had a king-size room, and it felt tight, but it was good value. Parking can seem expensive at $75 a day, but I did one of the cheaper per day options, and since it didn't have...
great interior, castle atmosphere!!! wonderful pool
We were able to walk to mist of our destinations. Perfectly located! The bed was very comfortable, all our needs were met! Yes! The room was clean and comfortable. We were welcomed and all the staff was courteous and helpful.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for the first time during St. Patrick’s day weekend. He had lost his wallet and the hotel didn’t accept Apple Pay or cash for the security deposit even though we paid for the room in advance. The staff was very nice and helpful despite the difficult situation, and luckily we were able to figure it out. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The...
Very nice sized room, very helpful staff and great amenities at the hotel.
Great rooms. Love the clean contemporary design. Known for their workout facilities. Dining options slightly limited, but hotel restaurant food was great for dinner and breakfast. Great spa services. In contrast to some other reviews, our room was quiet and we didn't have issues with noise. We were on a higher floor (5th). Overall had a great experience and relaxing weekend stay with my wife.
My wife and I used the Hotel at Midtown for our wedding. We reserved a block of rooms, rented one of their suites to use to get ready for the day, and hosted a brunch the next morning in one of their conference rooms - everything went great. The hotel manager we worked with, Oksana, was communicative in person and over email, and she was very helpful in getting us set up and touring early on. Their...
No microwaves in the entire facility, restaurant had limited hours and there was no room service, were the downsides. On the other hand, the hotel and facilities were modern and impressive. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you are very fitness-minded, this is the place for you!
Expensive, but worth the price. Very upscale feel, clean rooms, and attentive staff. Shoutout to Chase working the front desk. You have access to the fitness center facilities while you stay, so if that is something you are looking for, you will be very pleased with what they have on-site. The connected restaurant/bar was also a great experience. The food menu is somewhat limited due to the nature...

Great spot. It was pleasant even with some exterior construction happening during the day. Nice staff. Large lounge and sitting area. Gym was excellent. Room had some dust and terrible view, but those were just unlucky things. Very happy overall.
Excellency in room maintenance and services. The most clean room and comfort beds in downtown. Hard to find a speck even in any corner of the room. Liked the all marble decor bathroom and super friendly front desk. Gotta try cheese plate for room service. 7-yrs old cheddar, brie, and goat cheese will amaze you. Although, brace yourself for daily convenience fees, front desk fee, and room service fees...
Suites are great, but the rest of the hotel rooms are median. Cleanliness and the location is optimal, but the service can be 50/50. I have been greeted and experienced excellent from housekeeping staffs, but the valet staff at the counter especially was shadowing. Overall I would try other hotel near to compare.
The hotel is great. Very classic JW hotel - old school but very well kept. Doesn’t get 5 starts because I personally like something more modern. The views are not very spectacular as you are surrounded by other tall buildings
The staff were very good. They noticed that I was limping the took the time to ask if I need any help. Then they brought up a wheelchair and move me to my room. Few minutes later a manger called me and is if I need any help. I asked for an ice pack. He came up to my room and he wrapped my foot with the ace pack. I'm so appreciative of the staff. I would definitely stay here and I highly recommend to...

the better questioned posed would be “ what didn’t we like about the property ?” because we loved everything about the property . Whenever possible I stay at Westin and whenever back in Chicago this is the only day place I will consider
Locations currently does not offer many of the normal amenities offered prior to Covid. However, staff was helpful, friendly, and willing to lean in to make your experience a comfortable one. The event crew was specially helpful and professional. Incredibly attentive to the needs of the event participants
The Westin is one of the best hotels in Chicago! I have also stayed elsewhere on the Chicago River and love it too. If you love shopping or eating, this is the place for you. There are many entertainment and historical attractions within walking distance. Overall a great experience!
Love the room! The bed is comfy, especially the heavy blanket, love the weight! Love the interior as well. Both the room and bathroom are spacious, and it's clean. Friendly staff and service. Especially love the white tea scent!
I visited Chicago for the first time last week and I stayed in this hotel. When I had booked it I accidentally booked for the wrong day and the hotel was able to accommodate me so that I could stay the night I arrived. Amazing hotel! Every staff member I interacted with super courteous and kind. The hotel is beautiful! Room was comfortable and had great view. Very well located. The only thing is that at check-in it would’ve been helpful to receive instructions on how to use the elevators, first ride was a bit confusing… totally recommend this hotel. The hotel had signs about their environmentally friendly practices...
Very nice hotel. Large work space if you are working in the room. Everything worked like it should have, clean and fresh. Loved the hot water heater for tea. I hate having to run water thru a coffee maker for my tea. Front desk had my room even though I checked in at 9 am, very professional and courteous. Meeting room and function services on point.
This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in the city. The bed in this hotel is hands down the best I’ve ever slept in. Everything here is high quality, and the amenities are awesome. The staff are always pleasant and super helpful (especially Cedric the valet!) The fitness center is nice but I really miss the pool. I would consider it a top hotel in Chicago!
Rooms were clean and as advertised. Staff was helpful, friendly and professional. Common areas appeared to be clean and well maintained. I did see some other reviews complaining about pricing for additional (like $10 for a box of bottled water in the rooms). I found an easy walk around solution is to drink your favorite beverage at another place of choosing nearby. While the hotel was not memorable...
Great location, great views! The higher the floors the better! The fitness center is located high in the sky with amazing views of Navy Pier and the city and the lake and the river. They also boast “wooden” room key cards, a cool talking piece.
I did a search for hotels with pools and this hotel was listed. My son was very disappointed and I would not have booked it if I knew there was not a pool.
Right in the heart of downtown on the Chicago River with great skyline views. In walking distance of many city attractions. Friendly and helpful. No maid service unless you ask for it.
I had an ideal stay! The location, service, and quality of the room were exceptional! My room faced Lake Michigan and the Chicafo River, so the view was a big part of the appeal of the room. The bedding was top notch and I slept deeply. The bathroom included a soaking tub and shower; both were well cleaned - a big plus in the midst of a pandemic. The room service was prompt. I couldn’t have asked for...

I cannot say enough about this hotel, it was nothing short of amazing from the first contact i had with them to book the room, up to the minute we checked out. Everything was so perfect. The staff treats you like royalty. The rooms are in excellent shape. The rooms are also very modern. This will be my go to place whenever I come home to Chicago.
It's a grand experience. Lavish, modern and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom shower had great pressure, the toiletries were aromatic. Overall, very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!
I never stay there but whenever Janet Jackson is in town, the Peninsula Hotel is where she like to stay. And it has great! reviews and, it has a five star restaurant.
This hotel is everything they say it is. Excellent service! Everyone is willing to help. When our room wasn't ready for an early check-in, they upgraded us, and the room was phenomenal. We ate at the Shanghai terrace which was also worth every penny. Great night out in the city.
Nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The care and thought put into every detail of the room, from the slippers at the the foot of the bed and the phone chargers built into the nightstands, to the beautiful design and decor of the room, was amazing. Not cheap, but well worth the price in my opinion.

Absolutely wonderful! Great customer service, amenities, and conveniences. A truly wonderful and relaxing experience. As well as an excellent testament to the hard work, dedication, and investments of our current president, Mr. Donald Trump. I cannot give enough praises!
Threw a bachelor party for my best friend and we rented out a large suite with a great view as a hangout spot to lounge at multiple points during the night. Very comfortable and pleasant hotel. Stunning views from the Windows in the rooms facing the river. A decent level of service
Everything is perfect. From very very friendly staff that pay attention to detail and bend over backwards to help to 5 star restaurants. Why do people have to be so political? There is no way this hotel is anything but 5 stars. Reasonable price. Perfect location. Stunning. Superbly professional and diverse staff. Nice hotel in a great location overlooking Lake Michigan with spectacular panoramic views, convenient to public transportation, next to a huge park full of squirrels for a leisurely stroll, and you can also explore downtown on foot. Good facilities and helpful staff, recommended thanks to all the staff from Italy.
The staff at this hotel bring a culture of excellence in customer service to this hotel. It is so woven into the atmosphere of this hotel that it is simply incredible! Every single employee I came into contact with dropped everything and anything they were doing to meet ANY guest's NEED or request. I wish there was a 10 star option. The W has great location. It's close to Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, the John Hancock Center, and the beach. It is also right next to Lake shore drive so the entire East side had unobstructed views of the lake. I can't speak too much too the hotel itself as I was only there for a meeting. Room was clean and functional, if a little cramped with two beds in it. View of the lake and Navy Pier is great. Bathroom door slid closed and didn't really shut all the way which wasn't my favorite. From the moment we walked into this hotel/castle it took our breath away. The spa is definitely the crown jewel of this pristine hotel. The service is by far the best in town, I only wish I could live on a massage table at the Waldorf Astoria forever!

Loved it. They were so nice and friendly. We had room 732 it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. If I ever go back to Chicago again I will definitely try to get a room with them. And you are just one block from Michigan Avenue.
Nice experience. Had the kids with us. Close to everything. Small nice pool. Gym. Breakfast 25$/person( buffet) Gino’s pizza across the corner. Ballet for 70$. Spot hero had better deals. But if u just drive around the block u can find good deals in parking.
Updated rooms are modern and nice. They have a nice lobby bar with entertainment. The hotel and rooms are very dark, seems to be the theme. Bathroom cleaning could be much better, some spots on tub and some areas were missed.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Chicago. Room was great and the staff was wonderful. Had a great birthday weekend here. Would definitely stay here again. They have a nice little bar down stairs and it's very relaxed.

You can barely get to anything without the door being in the way. Overall good experience. The gym was under renovation but I’ll be back as soon as that’s done!
I'm giving 5 stars because it has what you need and it's CLEAN!!! The price is right. It's small but your downtown and be honest your not there for the room. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Superb value for your money! Nice rooms. Clean and comfortable. VERY affordable for downtown Chicago. Walkable to good bars and restaurants. Parking is pricey, but if you're staying just here you shouldn't need to rent a car. CTA is around the corner.
For the price the hotel is great. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping the Navy Pier and the Gold Coast. Overall the room was fine there were some areas that could use a little maintenance but no real issues. They do take a large security deposit so make sure your credit card has the available limit. There is no free parking you must pay $16 a day to park your car in the garage next to...
Hotel Indigo is my favorite place to stay downtown. Aside from the great location to many Chicago attractions, it is also many comforts and amenities that make a several day trip away from home very comfortable. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and decorated in a way that sets it apart from many other hotels. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful each time we stay. My only complaint would...

Great hotel. Zero and Jordan are awesome. They provided great customer service and information. The hotel was very clean and in a wonderful location. We will be booking at this location again and referring others.
Google shows as a 3 star hotel and that's what it is. Rooms were standard. The white conformer looked a little worn. Cheap rate for the location. The "L" is right by the door when you walk out. Short walk to Michigan ave. The hot tub was cooler than my bath water which was okay for me since I'm pregnant. I think anyone else would complain. The part that really got me was how dirty the hot tub was around...
I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. It's location was perfect for shopping as well as Transportation which was a short walk to the Metra. In terms of the room I found the bed to be extremely comfortable and desk space to be sufficient. A few more accoutrements would of course be nice but it is a lass a Garden Inn. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and provided an umbrella upon...
Right above the red line stop. Two Starbucks within 100 yards. The service is is excellent. Reggie, the bellhop is quite the character. The rooms are newly refurbished and quiet, which is is a little uncommon in downtown hotels. I recommend getting breakfast at the Weber Grill on the first floor.
I spent 6 nights in this hotel in November 2017. One of the main things that favored this hotel is the location; there is a metro station (Grand) at the corner, and it is just 3 blocks away from the Michigan Avenue. It is great. The room was very well equipped, with even a microwave and fridge. I am very satisfied. There's a market just across the street and in the other corner you have a PF Chang...
The view from the City view room is not that special. I was expecting more. However, the location is very convenient. The staff was very friendly. For cleanliness I’d give it a 3/5 needs a little bit more work. Their parking is $48 but there’s a self park in the same address for $25 for one day. They also put a hold in your card for $50 in case you request any service or drink. The pool was really...

Wonderful hotel at a perfect location to explore the city.
Really nothing to complain about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and fitness center was a blast. If you are on the top floor the view is amazing. All in all, I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good holiday. Thank you intercontinental hotel!! ??
A modern hotel and a great place to stay again and again! All facilities, food and staff were excellent and engaging. In addition, all my four days of stay in your hotel were worth it and gave me pleasure. Next time I have to recommend my family, friends and colleagues to visit your hotel because it was wonderful and the best. Thanks a lot!
We visited the Eno wine bar located in the front side by Michigan Avenue. The wine bar shares the same entrance as the Michael Jordan restaurant. Decent selection of wines and we'll known for their flights. Selection of chocolates, cheese, and other food item to go along with your wine. It's not a full scale restaurant but they are enough options to not go hungry. I would definitely recommend it.
Great hotel with central location for touring. This is a great place for a family as the pool and spa area is very nice, large, and indoor- important for the climate most months. Competitive rates for quality of hotel. You can get exceptional rate during Christmas time. Staff is friendly. Hotel extras like parking, food, and drinks are v. pricey...but it is Chicago.
This great location is walking distance to many major Chicago sites. I visited very briefly on business but had such easy access that I made it down to the famous bean as well as the Art Institute of Chicago. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room, while acceptably clean, was outdated with visibly worn furniture. The rate was reasonable and I have no real complaints other than expecting...
