Club Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort

I can't say enough about this place. Great service inside and out. The poolside bar had great drinks and even better coconut shrimp. I couldn't get enough. Rooms had a great view of the beach and Pier 60. Beyond clean. Shout out to our poolside server, Monica. She was a trooper and on point! Our family loved her SO much (honestly deserves a raise) and she went above and beyond the whole day we were there. I felt bad for her because of the in-water rated X show she had to work around, haha. We are already planning our next stay in a couple of months!

Fantastic place to stay! Staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to help. I'm definitely staying there again and again.

Amazing hotel perfect service and good atmosphere with a location perfect with a great view of the beach. All very nice and very near. The room is perfect, the lobby has a good look and the personnel are very attentive and nice. I recommend this place, perfect to relax and pass a vacation to who you need. Near the bar and grill, service to boat for take ride for the beach, night bar with music live, restaurants and mini bars, with very much movement until night. Also fast food and many places with light food near the Beach. streets from go to walking all times with beautiful views, locals store for buying merchandise and one mega store with all you find there.

We really like the resort. We wanted to come over long time ago but it was hard to find a good room. Looked like was very popular years ago. We just got told that 1 building is owners only. I like the idea cause I think it will be easier for us to book rooms that way. One thing I don't like is that is only one pool. Kids can't enjoy that much cause is a lot of adults enjoy themselves too. And is understanding. It will be better if they have something just for kids too.

Location is truly perfect. Walking distance to beach, resort has salinated pool, 5 minute walk to pier 60 and park. We stayed in the time share on the Club Wyndham side. Previously stayed at hotel which is nice but smaller than the 1-2 bedrooms in the time share resident side. Gave service a 4 star do to high pressured sales to buy more points or time share deed on top of what we own. I do not recommend to buy first offer they provide you if you're interested in purchasing. Definitely start with the intro Discovery package that is about 5k and let's you enjoy resorts for 2 years. Then look into a time share real estate site to buy from another owner who wants to sell. In the long run it is more affordable than traditional booked vacations. You can totally get more affordable options than the first package they give you, especially if you buy through a realtor from a prior owner who's wanting to get out of ownership. Beautiful resort overall.

Great location. Friendly staff. The usual parking cost and resort fees apply. Nice pool. The only very minor complaint is the air conditioning doesn’t get the room as cold as we would have liked. The beach is beautiful!

This is the greatest hotel that I've been to it's so clean and they have a great service. The food tastes delicious and all the people that work there are amazing. Me and my husband went to spend our honeymoon there and we were more than happy with all the service and everything there

I stayed at the Wyndham in May. Everything was great. The room was great with a beautiful view of the ocean. The sand was soft as flour (or close). Just perfect. But...

There was only one issue though... No one said anything about a resort fee (about $25/day). I literally checked online and even called them up beforehand, and was told that there would be no resort fee. When it came time to checkout though, they charged it. I tried fighting it with their billing dept, and they were very slow and difficult to work with.

In summary, it's a great place to stay for a nice getaway in Clearwater Beach if you come knowing that you will pay a resort fee. If you're willing to pay it, great. If not, then don't go. Personally, I hate that hotels try to get away with these hidden charges, and I try to give my business to those that are straight up. But in either case, they should be more open about t.

Beautiful views! Stayed here for a special occasion in late June — the hotel felt very new (because it is), and the pool is HUGE! However, docking one star because of the resort fee — too much for too little. Nothing that makes this hotel worth that premium per day. It feels like a brand new hotel with a nice pool...hardly a "resort". But otherwise, a great stay at a clean, new property!
