Reviews
kind and available staff.
My hotel room was clean. All around the room were personalized notes dedicated to helping me become acquainted with my new temporary space. There were little surprises that I haven’t had other hotels offer, such as my remote in a “fresh remote bag” letting me know that it’s been sanitized. Personalized cards to let me know that my housekeeper’s name is Jenny (who did a great job btw). Normally hotels try to up-charge you for everything but they have brought me countless bottles of water. They even sent me up handcrafted candies before bed which is a very sweet gesture, pun intended.
There is a restaurant in the building (Ellie’s) that serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner- so you never actually have to leave the hotel if you didn’t want to. But, if you choose to- there are other nearby restaurants, food trucks, museums and other great attractions.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the customer service was superb, universally.
This is not just another well-appointed Curio Collection hotel: this hotel is a destination in itself. The world-class art museum experience on site will take your breath away. Don't miss the opportunity to go on a guided tour of this memorable and significant collection with one of the staff (thanks, Andrew!). Ellie's restaurant served up artisan meals at all times of day and night with some of the most clever cocktails I have enjoyed. And the entire staff made you feel like an A-list celebrity because of the joy they took in accommodating you in this singularly beautiful space. I will look forward to future trips to Dallas and to returning to my new favorite hotel.
The art exhibitions makes staying at this hotel worth the price. The food from the restaurant was also very tasty and decently priced. Rooftop pool stays heated so you don't need to worry about it being cold outside.
Full sized gym too with plenty of equipment. I loved everything about this hotel and wish I could stay longer.
The room was as viewed online and very comfortable bedding. There was PLENTY of water provided which was nice. The amenities were available and as listed.
The customer service was excellent (except breakfast). I was greeted by several valets, a doorman, once a second inside greeter and then the front desk. This made each trip in and out of the hotel a great experience. Breakfast was not as customer oriented as I never received a refill on my coffee and had to flag for a bill. (it was not busy)
I was told at check in that being a Gold member I received $15 per day for food but had to contact the hotel after check out to get a credit for this as it was not applied, but it was quickly reimbursed.
The person helping us bring our things to the room, Divine, was amazing as well! Great customer service and just genuinely friendly at every interaction! It’s an upscale hotel for sure, and we had a wonderful time!
