The bar (not the formal one that requires a sports coat wtf?) was the only redeeming quality. Good bartender and a good old fashioned. The location is excellent.
I stayed in the Fantastic King Suite with a romantic package and never received the champagne that was mentioned. The room felt dirty, the furniture was worn a bit, the sheets were thin and even the restroom being separated by a curtain was weird. I did end up paying $1500 for two nights…but it is truly not worth it.
You’re 100% just paying for location. They do warn you that there is construction going on, so I would be aware until they finish.
I truly was excited to try out the W Hotel, as I love the other hotels further out like The Adolphus, The Statler, and The Thompson…even the AC Hotel felt better🥲.
I might try it back when they finish construction, but even then, I’m not sure they’ll work on the rooms.
