The Dalmar, Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Beautiful hotel!!! The staff were amazing and the rooms were beautiful! We will absolutely make it a point to come here again. We didn't get a chance to go to any dinning there but it smelled delicious in the lobby. Having the coffee shop there in the lobby was an amazing thing to have as well. Our new favorite hotel!

Had a great experience here. I stayed on a higher floor so there was some music/noise coming from the rooftop bar, and I could also hear the elevators (room close to elevators so it happens). However, I was normally too tired for these to have an impact.

The amenities were awesome here. Here is what I used and liked:

- Multiple bars/restaurants that were all good.
- Pool with plenty of towels and sunscreen.
- Free Shuttle to and from the Beach (highly recommend)

Also in a great location walkable to downtown Fort Lauderdale and to the Brightline station. I ended up going to the Dolphins game and Brightline was an amazing experience for that.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! Without any exaggeration, I can say that it is perfect! The hotel is brand new and modern, meeting all of today’s high standards. The hotel shares the building with some other businesses. You need to take an elevator to get to the hotel’s lobby, but it’s easy to find, and you won’t get lost. Plus, the sweet people who work on the ground floor are always happy to help you.
The hotel’s lobby is absolutely beautiful! It’s wonderfully designed. Even if you arrive a few hours before check-in, or need to wait for a few hours after check-out, it’s a pleasure to relax in the lobby on the comfortable sofas and play with your gadgets. My check-in was super fast and easy. The front desk guy was super sweet to me, and the entire front desk staff was nice and friendly throughout my stay.
I got a room on a high floor with a stunning city skyline view. My room (#2105) was very spacious and spotlessly clean. All the furniture was new and in great condition. The room’s design was very nice, and I felt super comfortable staying there. I loved the big panoramic window, which let in lots of natural daylight. My room was well soundproofed - I heard almost no noise from the hallway. The room had all the necessary amenities. The two Queen beds were super comfortable! I slept like a baby! There was an iPad in the room from which I could control a lot of the room’s features and connect with the front desk to request services. I absolutely loved the bathroom! It was very spacious, and I appreciated that the toilet was separated from the bath area by a small wall. The bathtub was pretty big and deep, and almost fit all of me (I’m 6’ tall). The bathroom amenities were of high quality and smelled very nice. The only minus was the lack of a toilet brush, but that’s really it! Wi-Fi worked super fast during my entire 4-night stay.
The only questionable aspect of this hotel is its location. It’s definitely far from the beach area, so you would need to take a taxi to reach the beach. Also, there isn’t much around the hotel. The area is mostly residential (and not in the best condition, to be completely honest), with some parts still under construction. However, the plus side is that the hotel is not too far from the Fort Lauderdale Brightline train station if you arrive/depart by Brightline train. I personally walked to the hotel from the station with just a backpack, and it took me only 15 minutes; easy! Additionally, the hotel is close to a very nice riverside area with many shops and restaurants. Walking there takes about 10 minutes along one main street. So, the hotel’s location really depends on your goals in Fort Lauderdale. Did I like it? To be completely honest, not really.
In conclusion, I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Fort Lauderdale. You’ll enjoy the highest quality and feel very comfortable throughout your stay, just like I did. But keep the location in mind! If your goal is a beach vacation and you want to be close to the beach, this hotel may not be the best option for you.

Very nice rooms with a lovely view of the sand pit next door. Elevators were confusing to use until you figured them out. Pool bar was amazing, and the staff out there rocked.

They have a token operated champagne vending machine. Worth the visit just for that.

Great location. The staff is very organized and fast. When I say they move fast, they do, especially for an event with so many people. I attended the Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week show and was very pleased with the room, the cleanliness, and most of all the staff. I ate in the restaurant and the fried chicken was delicious. My daughter had the Terrace Truffle Burger and my friend had the Truffle Pizza, no complaints. 😋 I am not a dessert person but Key's Key Lime Pie was so good. The service was great and our server Remus was very attentive to us and very pleasant. THANK YOU REMUS. Overall a great first time experience.

I have stayed in several hotels during the pandemic and this was by far my best stay. Definitely a 5 star experience. The lobby, hallways and rooms were very clean. The attention to detail in this hotel is mesmerizing. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. A technician came to me within minutes and replaced my TV remote. Loved everything this place had to offer. Try the cocktails at the cafe on the ground floor and you will not be disappointed at The Terrace Grill. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back!

Sometimes with your Marriott Membership Level it can be a hit or miss with taking advantage of your benefits. From the start I was upgraded to an AMAZING CORNER SUITE on the 19th floor. Spent a few hours on the balcony enjoying the view. Bunch of perks with a complimentary water taxi ticket and museum. The resort fee acted as a food and beverage credit - food and service was excellent. After a late start thought I missed breakfast but I was greeted with smiles and no trouble preparing my meal. I missed the welcome cocktail because my flight was delayed. I saw the pool which looked great but my stay was too quick to check it out but I now have another hot spot to return to.

Just left this beautiful hotel and I can't get over how much I loved it. I had a free night at the Marriott so we left the hotel we were staying at and checked in early this morning. Every part of this place has been thought of to the smallest detail. The coffee bar, lobby bar, pool and rooms are all beautiful and modern. Everything is exactly like the pictures on the website. I also couldn't believe how comfortable the beds were! I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels but I slept great here. I can't wait to go back and check out the rooftop bar (it was closed the day we were there). Thanks guys for a great stay.
