I checked in very late, and had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day. The front clerk there was very understanding and accomodating, honoring the price I was given on the phone. The breakfast was fantastic as well.
Wow....I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. Arrived at the hotel around 9:30 in the morning after returning from a cruise. The hotel stored my luggage for me until my room was ready. Ryan the customer service rep called around 1 pm to notify me that my room was ready. Overall the staff Ryan, Everett and the hotel shuttle driver Denise were GREAT!!! Everything was extremely...
They we're under construction; which I understand. However, there customer service from the first person I encountered was less than stellar. We ended up checking out early and going to another hotel (they didn't have our necessary accommodations for our baby). But the person who checked us out was superb! If only she was up first, we probably would have stayed.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and were the best part of the hotel.. the hotel is old and dated and currently undergoing exterior renovation which makes staying there unpleasant due to the maze of scaffolding that you have to negotiate just to check in.. your roller luggage is rendered useless by the sloppily put together plywood temporary walkways , and the parking lot is treacherous...

I have been staying at these hotel properties for 5 years now. I have stayed at North Beach, Tranquilo and Royal Palm. We just stayed here the past weekend for a birthday and had 3 rooms and I'm a local so, it was a great STAYCATION! We loved the pool and bar. Art the pool bartender did a great job for us! He took care of us and went over and beyound to make everything special. The food was excellent...
Simple & clean room , pool is nice & handy bar in resort. Heads up, if your room is by the bar , it is quite loud if your trying to sleep.
For the price, this was the best deal I've booked in years. Do they have a concierge? No. Do they serve breakfast in bed? No. What they did provide was a clean and beautiful remodeled resort from the 60s with a perfect location not more than 200 yards from a spectacular beach. This spot is close enough to the party to walk but far enough away so you can't hear it. We walked and biked everywhere we...
I’ve stayed here and at other North Beach Village hotels over the past 5 years. I would highly recommend this hotel, or any of their other hotels. Their staff are so friendly and I’ve gotten to know them on a personal level. NBV (particularly Royal Palms) has a charming local vibe that is opposite of staying in a corporate hotel. The staff are genuine people. I’ve been staying here for the last...
I was skeptical to book my birthday weekend here coming from Chicago because of all the reviews. I am so glad I did. It is definitely family friendly. Kids everywhere. So know that. But, the rooms were big, clean and neat. It’s very close to the beach. Great vibe and safe.
From what I could tell it seems like a cozy place, but I didn't stay here, was just dropping off a friend! Walking distance to the water and a bunch of bars which is great! Would definitely consider staying here in the future!

Nice but past it's prime. All the gutters leaked, no ice machine on the floors; only one off the main floor. No vending machines at all. The very best thing about this place was the housekeeping the rooms are immaculate the Linens were soft the bed was very comfortable. The floors are marble. I'm sure it was convenient for cleaning but very Slippery When Wet. Noise was a problem for us 2/3 three of...
Beautiful penthouse suite. Private walk patio views of Ocean from every room. Large flat screen living room. Perfect for a private party of 5 to 10 people. Enjoy the large balcony of glass over the ocean. The owner of this hotel is truly gracious and the parking attendant was extremely attentive always asking us if we were ok. Great beach front location. Do not let this hotel pass you by. Book it NOW
Amazing hotel, it’s very modern and beautiful. I love how you can just go out to the beach and that the pool is preheated. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. Everything was awesome except for the fact that the hallways smelled like cigarettes. Luckily the room did not smell bad and I found this place amazing. I would totally come back.
Stayed here for years as a kid very friendly staff beautiful ocean front view. Took my girlfriend here for the week and nothing has changed tiki bar has an awesome happy hour and friendly staff who remembered our drink orders the next day after only staying for a few minutes the first day. After checking into our original room decided to upgrade to an ocean front room the hotel manager Rafael was happy...
My family and myself had a wonderful stay at this resort. The staff are very friendly especially the front desk clerks. They are welcoming and kept smiles on their faces and assisted with whatever we needed. We'll definitely stay here again. Thank you.
My stay here over the past few weeks have been very helpful peaceful and lovely due to the help of Zailah a lovely lady I met the day of check in and she has been very helpful till this day with the help of accommodating a room that satisfy the needs of me and my family. She is very polite kind helpful and always remains professional. All the staff are caring and do what needs to be done to make sure...
Need to work more on the details of the room. Making sure the décor is intact. Light fixture was lopsided, same with pictures. I’m the bathroom I noticed there were nails sticking out of the walls, and paint needs another coat. Amenities need to be better. Toilet water was not clear. That’s an indication there could be something wrong with the pipping. Need to pay much more attention to the rooms.

Hotel was being renovated. The room was updated and look good, most of the services was not available, due to renovation. Great location near to beach access and city. Check in and out was good. Shower had to be plugged by service technician. Bar and refrigerator was well stocked in room.
I just recently stayed here, and I was impressed with the experience. My flight got cancelled so I booked on hotwire blind so I was bit nervous. The hotel is currently under construction so some things are closed. I stayed in a renovated room; it was nice, and the room was clean. It was a mini bar in the room. The staff at the front desk was super nice and the public beach access was a few blocks down...
The staff was great and very tentative. Even when answering the phone. The rooms were ok. The bathroom sink faucet was half broke, wasn’t able to take a bath because the bathtub drain stopper was broke. However everything was very clean. The pool was nice and relaxing and the resident Iguanas made my day. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the bar a restaurant were closed due to construction...
I stayed here for 11 days. I will tell you that the service was exceptional when needed. This hotel is currently under renovations. I got a room that has already been remodeled. My only complaint was no active working ice machine, so you had to have ice sent to your room. The grounds could use some cleaning up as plants are overgrowing on the sidewalks. Parking is $18 a day plus taxes. The pool...
Hotel in under renovations, so 3/4 of the hotel is not open. Once completed, I am sure it will be 5 stars. You couldn't ask for better service, and you have extra items brought to your room within minutes. Our rooms were just remodeled, the bed is so comfortable and inviting. Our room does not have a dresser or a desk to put your stuff on. We have a small kitchen with everything you need to cook a...
I love this place. Every corridor has it's own pool. They have a restaurant and bar that is beautiful especially at night with a bartender that can make what ever you want. The best part about this place is it's 15 min walk to the beach, CVS is right across the street if you need something and there are various restaurants in walking distance if you want to take an evening stroll.
I would not stay there again or recommend to others. The "Manager" was a bit problematic at check-in, we had no water for 6 hours and cable was out for two days of our 3 day stay. Granted the price was reasonable so I guess one gets what they pay for. The hotel is quite dated. They are presently renovating so that is good.

Great location close to the beach, restaurants , and Federal Highway were all the malls are located. John was very helpful. Rooms are ample in size and very clean. Take some insect repellent as the mosquitoes were very active, especially at night. Ample free parking available. Nice outdoor pool and seating area.
If you want to feel like you are in the Caribbean,or old key west with tropical plants, palms, birds, butterflies with French doors and shutters this is your spot. Old school retro motel, dont expect modern luxury, but very clean and peaceful. Agnes is so nice, communicative, and works hard to accommodate you.And with the beach a short walk, you cannot beat the price. A real hidden gem.only place in Ft.lauderdale...
I can't say enough good things about this place! Going in I was worried by how cheap it was and how close to the beach. But the rooms were nice, well equipped, and super clean! I love the atmosphere of the courtyards. The one tiny complaint is I wish they had salt in the kitchen. But seriously you cannot beat this place!
We had a wonderful time and our room was very clean and comfortable. Agnes was incredibly sweet and welcoming, we made new friends while we were there and had a great time relaxing by the pool.
Wow!! What an amazing cozy hotel. I spent the whole day calling around looking for a place to stay for the night and this was the only place that called me back. they only had one room available and was able to meet me after office hours to give us access to the room for my 3 year old and I. We had a great night and we woke up well rested. I give this place 5 stars and will be back again!

Spring Break Week...what was I thinking! Has kitchenette. Old and not really taken care of. But bed was comfortable, bathroom somewhat clean but shows signs of age. But owner very nice. And easy to find.
We stayed about 3 days and had no complaints or issues. We were left alone and the other guests were pleasant. Cheap motel that needs a major updating though. You can't see the beach from the motel but it's just a block or so East. You get a view of a large condo complex and the pool down below.

We had a great stay there as we transitioned mom to her new place in Florida. The front desk staff were super friendly and amazingly helpful. Bistro food was darn good, esp breakfast. Special shout-out to Ethan H.- proof that not all hero’s wear capes; thanks for the lift up when we really needed it. 😉
Two night stay was alright. Ample parking, decent enough area, bed was very comfortable and room was fairly clean, outside of the shower tub — it was dirty and we had to rinse it down before using it. Also didn’t love the lack of counter space and lack of outlets in the bathroom. On our check-out day, the cleaners asked us twice before 10am if we were leaving soon (despite check-out time being 12pm...
Loved being here. They even had a hot chocolate bar! They did a great job being welcoming and the location was nice too. My one issue was that I could hear loud cars on Friday night. The staff was able to get me ear plugs and I had the best rest in years after that!
The front manager Flavia could not have been more accommodating, professional and pleasant, she made our stay comfortable from the minute we walked in. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for our stay. The staff at the bistro were great too. A nice location and quiet. They were renovating and we knew that from when we reserved, prior to arriving got a few emails and when we checked in however...
Although my stay commenced a bit tense due to ongoing renovations (which my confirmed reservation failed to advise) the Area Manager, General Manager and entire staff went above and beyond my expectations to make my stay with them enjoyable. Room was pleasant facing east. Morning sunshine on balcony and into bedroom. Bathroom opens directly into bedroom so might disturb partner. Housekeeping was a little off. This is a #BEAUTIFUL hotel. Gardens ans waterfalls. Mostly everyone I encountered, during my week+ long stay, was more than pleasant and accommodating from check-in through to check-out. Great place in all the ways that matter! I couldn't care less if the furniture looks dated. The mattress and bedding were top of the line in comfort. Room with ocean view and step out balcony was great. Bottled water and cookies they give out are a nice touch. Carpet by the sliding door was wet for some reason but otherwise room was in good shape. Service excellent. Would stay again.
Great location right across from the beach and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Shopping is a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is nice with clean rooms. The rooftop pool is really my spot....where the bar is! Try the cucumber cooler drink, it's so refreshing on a hot day!
I was upgraded to a lovely suite. Ocean view, comfortable and very clean. The registration staff were friendly and responsive. Sheraton Suites in Fort Lauderdale is a unique design with a lovely interior tropical gardens with a fish pond too! All rooms face inward towards the garden area. And the restaurant food is great with room service and valet in the lobby. Very safe surroundings nestled in a corporate park campus. And easy access to I-95 without the traffic noise. Ideal for out of town guests or wedding receptions.
We come to this Sheraton every year for a long weekend getaway and we always have a really great time. Tommy the Bellman is our #1 favorite and he's fantastic to work with. Great time, wonderful staff, close to so many points of interest - you will definitely see us again next year!
The hotel is a great space for an event. Lots of meeting rooms of various sizes. Very helpful and accommodating staff. The restaurant is nice. The pool is beautiful. Lots of parking.
The only thing so far we disliked is that the breakfast was Ice Cold, and we didn't order it that way. Eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes and potatoes don't taste good cold. Unless I'm so hungry I need to raid the dumpster. I'm thinking that's not an option I paid for. Some of the staff would obviously like to be at home, could conjure up a smile. This hotel needs to be renovated. At first glance it looks great, but there are clear signs of quick fixes, and the water pressure in the shower was pretty poor (8th floor, top level). I stayed here the night of my wedding, and the fire alarm went off around 8:30AM the next morning, forcing everyone to evacuate. Not cool...
Not sure why all the negative reviews. This hotel was great. We stayed one night between legs of vaca and it was perfect. Especially because they offer laundry facilities on every other floor! Stayed here during the busy holiday season , the check in process was satisfactory. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant had a limited but great tasting menu
Hotel and front reception is nice. The restaurant is delicious and the inside staff is excellent! However a gentleman from the parking staff really brought down my perception of this hotel. Not a "destination" location and not perfect, but a reasonably comfortable and clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. For folks such as us who had to travel some distance for a cruise out of Port Canaveral, this was a good spot to spend the night before embarkation.
Weird hotel with an interesting. Fixtures were older. Needs to be updated.
This hotel had the lowest price out of all of them and came equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The room was spacious and the king bed was very comfortable. Very nice reception, told me jacuzzi is working ?? Wish they would go smoke-free! Reception confirmed they do have smoking rooms. So difficult to find properties with working hot tubs, but not worth breathing carcinogenic air during stay. If some rooms smoke, the entire building smokes. May as well make all rooms smoking rooms. Hopefully they will go smoke-free soon :).
Nice rooms, but walls very thin. We were located across the stairs and people just don't realise we can hear everything. This is not a problem of the motel (all motels have these walls), but the respect of other guests. Breakfast enough. Could use a bit more variation. Nice staff, considering you are in Florida (we don't see much people smiling or being friendly). Very good internet.
