Ocean Beach Club

I was very disappointed when we got to our room and it was not updated like it was advertised. The bathroom didn't have hot water just warm and barely any water pressure. The mini fridge was barely cold. My friends kitchenette room had very outdated gross cookware and dishes. Even the toilet paper was a disgrace (thin and tore easily). Our rooms windows didn't open but my friends window did. I also got there and they charged my card twice and when I asked for a refund on the one purchase I was instructed to write an email for review from management. The website showed a sports bar/restaurant and come find out it had been closed for a while. All the tiki bars and other places of interest that was advertised wasn't even at this resort it was 10 min walk to all and was at other resorts. Also it showed gorgeous views of the ocean and it was all covered by other very tall resorts. Do your research and make sure you are booking what you are advertised. They did blame Expedia which in my opinion they should have been on top of it.

Decent location, quite a hefty walk to anything.

Service is like a motel 6, basically nothing. It’s a bed to sleep in, not a hotel.

Do not recommend staying here! The room is a decent size however my second night in the room I saw two roaches…When i mentioned it to the front desk staff I was informed that the manager was not onsite so she could only offer me 15% off my next stay. I know it’s not her fault so I waited to speak with the manger who tried to offer me the same thing. I refused to take that offer as I will not be coming back. I ended up only being refunded 30% off my stay of the day I saw the roaches… $23 like what! On top of that the hotel is not close to the beach as stated on the booking and my room was only cleaned after asking… and I still haven’t received my deposit back yet.

When I first arrived. My first thought was “this definitely doesn’t look like the pics online” secondly, I was put in room 330, 1 king size room where you can tell the room is not being properly cleaned. There was what look like blood splatter on the wall and a roach crawling. I made front desk aware and I was switched to what she called “an upgraded room with 2 beds”. Well you guessed it, not an upgrade at all. The beds are 2 full size beds and the room is hot. I went to ask for a refund and I was told I booked the mom refundable room so even if I checked out, still no refund. And she can bring me a fan to get me through the night until maintenance comes next day during 9-5. Don’t get me wrong the receptionist is really nice, but at this point I’m just over it. Me and my husband is on an anniversary trip and we are sleeping in 2 separate beds because we both CANNOT sleep in 1 of the 2 full sized beds. I am NEVER one to
complain and if I do, I’m just really not satisfied with the service and I will NEVER be booking here again. Furniture and curtains are outdated and can definitely be upgraded
