Riverside Hotel

This hotel is full of that old world Florida charm! Great amenities and location! Check in was quick and easy. The rooms and establishment were very clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows left some to be desired. Alfredo and the entire valet staff were above and beyond fantastic! Close proximity to food, drinks, and shopping all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel! I've stayed here twice, once for vacation and once as a pre-cruise stay and was delighted to find they have a shuttle to Port Everglades for only $12 (at the time of this review). The pool area is fantastic as is the fitness center (though it has been unstaffed every time I've been). The folks working at the hotel front desk are always very friendly and helpful with questions. They were doing lots of renovations when I last stayed in late August 2024, but I never heard any noise in my room and the refresh definitely looks great as the rooms were a bit outdated but are now looking fab! Will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale!

My wife surprised me with a stay at the Riverside for a 33rd anniversary trip. The hotel was originally built in 1936 so it has a lot of character to it. However the recent renovations have given it a very fresh yet classic look. The location is right in the middle of the Las Olas district and is very safe for walking to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has several popular food and beverage offerings that are considered favorites by the locals. The Boathouse restaurant has great riverside dining, the Golden Lyon is a cozy little bar filled with regulars and hosted by very friendly bartenders ( even first timers will get the "Cheers" experience with a greeting as if you have been there before). The hidden gem is New River Bakery a confection and coffee shop. It is owned and operated by a very affable pastry chef who won the first episode of "Sugar Rush (Christmas)" a baking competition show that can be seen on Netflix. Everything is delicious and the coffee is first rate. In fact everything at the Riverside Hotel was first rate including the staff. No matter who we approached with a question they always had time to listen and offer suggestions. Like the river that runs next to this grand old hotel The Riverside just keeps rolling along.

Absolutely stunning hotel with a perfect location ! Rooms are fabulous and love the high floors with lovely views either onto Las Olas Blvd or the surrounding waterways filled with boats and yachts. Comfy bed and pillows with sizable rooms. Fantastic amenities, eclectic pool area, wonderful customer service, and in addition are three restaurants offering exceptional food and service. Definitely will return !

A lovely if old-fashioned hotel, with phenomenally comfortable beds. Only complaint was the sound proofing to the corridor was lacking. Other room doors opening and closing sounded like people trying to force their way in to my room.

Went to the new Boathouse at the Riverside hotel. I thought it was great! Fun music, casual atmosphere, great view, and mist importantly the menu wasn't over the tip expensive. Definitely planning on going back!

A very nice hotel with history and character. It sits on Las Olas which has a retro stylish feel. The rooms were nice with nothing particularly unique about them. Reminded me of a slightly dated Marriott.

Comfortable stay, great views of the Riverwalk. Older crowd so calm and nice. Great food at the restaurant downstairs. Awesome bar. There's a piano player at night. Right on the main shopping area. Free water troll right behind the hotel.
