Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach

Our stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach was a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location, just a short walk from the iconic Waikiki Beach, made it easy to explore the vibrant neighborhood. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a spacious layout that made us feel right at home.
We were particularly impressed with the hotel's friendly and helpful staff. They were always available to assist with our needs, from providing recommendations for local attractions to helping us arrange transportation. The complimentary breakfast was a delicious way to start each day, with a variety of options to suit all tastes.

Overall, our stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Honolulu.

The room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and modern. Staff are very friendly and always helpful with any questions or needs. Breakfast was included and very good. There are three water bottle fillers and a $5 snack credit each day which is great for the kids. The location is excellent as it is very close to the beach, zoo, shopping and the Waikiki Trolley stop. Restaurants close by include Denny's, Domino's Pizza and MacDonald's.
Minor items were that the pool was out of service during our stay and the sliding door for the balcony was hard to open and close. Note if you have an outside car rental the parking is super expensive at more than $50 per day.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. This is indeed a great hotel. I especially want to highlight the spacious room, which has been recently renovated. As for the downsides, the pool area is quite small and not very attractive. However, that wasn’t a big deal for us since the wonderful ocean is just nearby. So, no other complaints. Let me repeat, this is a very good hotel. We were particularly pleased that they provided us with several beach chairs and boogie boards for free. For free! I’ve never encountered that before. Thank you! Also, thank you for allowing us to store our luggage for free while we waited for our flight. The hotel is very clean and cozy, creating the perfect environment for a great vacation. The staff is also very kind and pleasant.

Now, let me elaborate on the staff. Everyone was really great, but I want to extend special thanks to two lovely ladies at the front desk: Roselyn and Lolly. Thank you so much for your work and for helping us with everything we needed. I also want to thank the friendly housekeeper who cleaned our room on the fifth floor. Unfortunately, I forgot her name. She has an Asian appearance, and I am very grateful to her. I hope my comment helps them receive a bonus from hotel management. Ideally, everyone deserves a raise. ;)

We stayed here for a couple of nights with family and friends. The location is excellent and the staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay a great one. There was a minor complication with our booking upon arrival, but the desk agent went above and beyond to sort it out and make sure there were rooms to accommodate us. The included water bottles were a nice perk. Breakfast was very good and it was great to have breakfast on site before we started our busy day of activities on the island. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and comfortable.

Check in was a breeze, I was at the counter for less than 5 minutes. Agent confirmed details and sent my family and I to our room. Room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was excellent as well; very quick with requests. Breakfast was included as well and was decent. Would stay again next trip but maybe in a larger room.

Room is spacious and great. Hot breakfast is very good. Pool is small but ok...on the 3rd floor. Location is great as it is 2 blocks to Waikiki beach. I couldn't give 5 star because the front desk is very slow. When checking in there were 5 staff and only 1 was checking folks in. Every stop at the desk during my stay was slow, but when I got up to the desk, the staff was nice. I had a late flight so I was able to use a hospitality suite to shower and change after going to the beach.

Staff is very friendly. Customer service was fabulous. Surprised by the free breakfast. Pineapple is delicious.

Pool could be a little bit more impressive. Room was top notch. Take the stairs because elevators go very slow and a lot of people are using the only two for the entire hotel.
