I went there mid-week. It's on the top floor of MGM Park, on the 4th floor. The front desk is on the innermost floor. You can ask the staff. The whole building is non-smoking, which is good. It's close to New York New York and MGM Grand. I went to Panda Express across the street for breakfast. In short, if you go there mid-week, the price is not much more expensive than other five-star hotels, it is worth recommending.

I stayed in several hotels in Las Vegas, and this one is also very good. You can ask the locals why the cheap hotels in Las Vegas are so cheap. In short, safety comes first. I hope everyone has fun!

Ever seen the movie "1408"? :)
Absolutely LOVED the atmosphere of the room and floor on which I stayed. Very American Gothic! The only I hate about Las Vegas in general is the resort fee.

I didn't upgrade to a room, I think it's easier to upgrade to a king-size room. Although the Park MGM building is a bit old, the Nomad room is still pretty good, and the soundproofing is pretty good. The ** downstairs is also very clean, and the self-park is $20 a night and the location is also convenient.

The hotel is lovely but it was SO LOUD in our room we could not sleep. The windows must be thin, because although we were on the 30th floor we could hear the club downstairs like it was next door. Awful. Will not be staying here again.

An escape from typical Las Vegas hotels. Every detail thought of absolutely beautiful, nice and dark.

Enjoyable and comfortable but 3-star-plus not 5-st
Nice room with fun classic turn-of-the-century decode. But it had small windows, the bathroom was smallish and didn’t have a tub. So it’s less nice than the Wynn, Venetian or other higher-end properties with larger, better designed bathrooms. Great for a night or two.

Nomad is for travlers who don't like crowds and wants a quiet, elegant environment located in a convenient location. The Nomad Library restuarant is amazing. Service at the hotel and restaurants is top notch.
Only downside to the hotel is the lack of breakfast but Starbucks and Eataly are located on sight and helps fill this void. We come every year for to see Maroon 5 Concert at The Dolby and The Nomad is a few minute walk from inside the hotel to The Dolby Theatre. So convenient!!

Sometimes things happen, and hotels are not perfect. We understand we may have just had one of those weeks. That being said, our first room had a plumbing issue. The toilet clogged the 2nd day into our 4 night stay. We called the front desk and they sent someone to rectify the issue. Later that evening, the toilet clogged again around 12pm. We called the front desk and they sent a nice engineer to come auger the toilet. We noticed there were auger marks on the porcelain before they came up, so this was not the first time it had happened to this room. The gentleman fixing the toilet mentioned that it was a bigger issue than us, and not our fault. I asked the front desk if there was another room for us to stay (on a Monday evening) and they said they could not accommodate the move. He gave us a $50 voucher for F&B and we went to bed.

The next morning the toilet did not flush again. We called the front desk and asked for help. They said they did have another room and could offer us a $200 F&B credit. We moved rooms and moved on with our day. The second room had a working toilet but there was no hot water in the standing bathtub. Shower was very hot but the tub was cold. We decided to not complain again, and instead try to enjoy the rest of our stay. We filled out the survey after the trip and hoped the hotel would reach out. A 5-star hotel, without a working toilet for 48 hours really made our trip stressful. The F&B credits did not even cover a one night stay.

In the end the entire staff was excellent and did their best to accommodate our issues but it was just not a great experience. Overall the hotel was nicely decorated, the location was good for us. It would have been nice to have food and beverage at the pool, and for the cost, they probably should have an off season service. There was also no decaf coffee option in the room (even after requesting), which felt like a miss. I think on its best day the NoMad would be fine. We will be saving some money and stay at the Park MGM instead.

Of I could give this 10 stars I would!
This hotel is located on the tops floors of MGM Grand. They offer a luxury hotel experience. Our suite left nothing to be desired. They paid attention to the smallest details. The room was AMAZING! I also love that this is a smoke free resort. If I ever come back to Vegas this is where I’m staying
