Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club
Malibu, 327 Latigo Canyon Road 🧭 Map
Calamigos is amazing. Their service is top notch, and it's such a unique place. It really is a whole experience. The grounds are amazing. The food is consistently good...and the rooms are spacious with a great outdoor space and all so unique.
Everything was incredible. The property is beautiful and the staff ALL went out of their way to be exceptional. I don’t have enough superlatives for our stay. Thank you.
Amazing property! Hogan is such a good guy and went out of his way to ensure my family was having a great stay!
The most amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! It makes you feel like you’re in another country with all the trees, pools, facilities! The room was so comfortable and beautiful! The service was impeccable!!
Very nice property, staff was outstanding!
AC unit was having issues that eventually were resolved.
Beautiful location. The property is wonderful. Staff was really nice. We had an issue with the heat, but they came and fixed it right away. Highly recommend for a weekend away.

Gorgeous boutique hotel right on the ocean. Beautiful ocean views and lovely modern rooms. But what really makes this property a standout is the team running it. We can't say enough about the warm, genuine, attentive service, from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the beach attendants. Thank you for giving us the gift of your personal excellence. We can't wait to come back!
had a great time with family coming from Middle East, we had a great time in here. so much fun with waves and my nerves enjoyed the sand.
Hotel is clean, luxurious and well equipped with heated toilet bowl (Japan style). Breakfast food was great though the coffee can be improved.
Great service and attentive staff. We stayed there for three days after Coachella 2025 and found this hotel to be a convenient stop on our way back to LA. Hotel rooms are close to the beach and all with beach views. Rooms were clean and restaurant staff were also friendly. Service of 18% is automatically added into all bills at the one restaurant they have. At breakfast, food does take a long time...
This is my fourth time staying in this hotel. It wins in details. Although it is a four-star hotel, all the details are better than the five-star hotels in Shanghai. You can see the sea while lying on the bed. What could be more comfortable than this? Of course, because it is very close to the sea, the sound of the waves is still very loud at night, which needs to be overcome.
The customer service was amazing from the very beginning to the very end. The food we had for breakfast was probably one of the best breakfast places we’ve had at a hotel the area. The hotels location is in a very convenient location and has a spectacular walking distance to the Malibu pier. It is not a far drive from other places in Malibu such as Nobu. I celebrated my wife’s 30th birthday here and...

We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. I would have loved to stay longer. It was the most beautiful, luxurious and relaxing hotel. The customer service was exceptional. When I expressed my appreciation for the clarification and mentioned it was our anniversary...
Great hotel- great rooms/comfortable and clean - great location. Cool vibe all around and super helpful staff. Lenny & Daniel at the front of the house were particularly helpful and charming!
Excellent boutique hotel. Oversized rooms, incredible service. Everyone is there to make your stay unforgettable. From the gentleman at the reception desk to the folks that work in the restaurant to Lenny the Bell Captain it is a really nice place to stay.
Best luxury hotel at the ocean. Literally 5 stars!! The ambiance is perfect for relaxing California dreams. Staff is at the top of the reasons this place is so posh. Lavender lemonade when you arrive. Bikes you can use for a nice ride along the ocean front. The valet are so friendly and nice you would think they are your friends. Pool is perfect. Rooms are so good! Luxury x 1000!
I could keep going...
Our recent stay at the Oceana Hotel in Santa Monica was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, personal, and truly elevated the experience.
A huge thank you to Erik, Akeem, Kezai, and Atiyyah — each of them went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out. The valet...
I stayed here for one night and had a pretty mixed experience. The biggest issue was the noise—my upstairs neighbor was blasting house music, and I could hear everything. It drove me nuts. I let management know, but I’m not sure if they actually addressed it. The music stopped for a while, then came back later.
The room had an awkwardly placed overhead light that I hit my head on ten times—not exaggerating...

Why would you stay anywhere else in Santa Monica? This is a slice of the Golden Age of Hollywood with all the trappings of the current - the staff are are as interesting and beautiful as the hotel - this is 5stars plus.
Very classic America style and super love it.I will be back on next trip
I have stayed at several PALIHOTELS and have liked the uniqueness and location..This place is cool on the outside but has some issues.. A wonderful experience from the concierge to the cleaners etc etc
First-class rooms and services, very close to the beach, pleasant scenery, free bicycles, which is great. It's worth the money, highly recommended to try.
The room is very spacious, the bed is 1.5 and very spacious. There is also a separate cloakroom, but the bathroom is a bit small. The front desk staff is also very friendly. However, the price is not very cost-effective for this price, which may be because it is by the sea, but it is very close to the beach, the beach is very beautiful, and it only takes a few minutes to walk. There are many restaurants...
The room is quite big, a bit old, but the quality is very good. The big bed and sofa bed are very comfortable. The elevator is a bit slow because there are so many people. The two elevators are very small and you have to wait for a long time. There is no swimming pool. There is a free private driver who can pick up and drop off within a three-mile radius of the hotel. Bicycles are free to borrow. Parking...
I spent an extra 30 bucks to upgrade the floor of my room, but it wasn't necessary. It was the only option when I arrived. The stairwells were very small. There were only two bottles of water in the room for free. The internet was free. It was close to the beach, and there was a Target supermarket about 10 minutes' walk away. Anyway, I paid over 3,000 for the location. The service was okay. A facility...

Very nice hotel. View over Santa Monica beach and the pier. Very nice service and upgrades since I have many night with this Hotel chain. Close to everything. Nice with a gate around the hotel area.
The staff here are so polite and friendly. They made sure my stay was wonderful. All the staff greeted me by name and with a smile. Also the hotel rooms were very clean with a great view! I'll definitely be back!
Fantastic experience all around! After checking in with Anthony we were off to a good start, he was knowledgeable and friendly. Kitty at Fig Restaurant was incredible. She is a real gem!!! Parking is exorbitantly expensive here. Park somewhere else. It was $20 minimum to use their lot. Also, I went for a special event and they had some type of an event across the hall which was extremely noisy and interruptive. Although there was water and also water with fruit in the room, the cookies and herbal tea and hot water showed up after the event was finishing so it was a moot point since most...
Amazing decor. Super friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous views at the cozy rooftop patio/bar
An aging hotel with scammy extra charges (“resort fee”?!) and frustrating, obsequious staff. They protect the rooftop bar like it’s a crown jewel, but it’s full of dull people and dirty glassware.
The bar has a great view from the outdoor patio and it's fun going up the old school elevator to get there. I've had a good time with groups in the early to mid afternoon. Late night it's crowded so best to go with just one other person on a date or something. I usually get Irish coffee but if you want french fries they have a pretty cool "tower" with four varieties of them.
Amazing hotel, lots of character, room are very in keeping with the Art Deco theme. Front of house staff very attentive, especially the door men. Nice touch offering champagne on check in, also nice tea available for free each morning
Amazing venue for happy hour in downtown Santa Monica. Come with a group for a team event or bring your sweetheart for romantic sunset cocktails. I always bring friends and family from out-of-town for the stunning vista of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Spacious room, convenient and safe location
It was everything we dreamed. We chose to stay here on our honeymoon and it was incredible from the moment we walked in the front door. From the staff accommodation and room service to the view and the location, everything exceeded our expectations. Location was PERFECT! Staff was SUPER friendly and sunset was magical.
Decent enough. Good location near downtown Santa Monica and the pier. Room was good size. Small bathroom. Good shower pressure. Not enough towel hooks. Two different elevators odd situation. None go to lobby level or street level. So one has to carry luggage up 2 levels before entering the elevator. Odd. But there is a handicap lift that was under construction or repair when I was there. And speaking...

I'll start by saying that I'm not a big fan of Santa Monica, and I'm really picky about hotels. That said, my son wanted to go to Universal Studios for his birthday, so Santa Monica was the best option. Hotel Carmel Santa Monica

The location of the hotel is very convenient, but the price/performance ratio is too low. The hotel is like a motel with poor sound insulation. The price is not worth it.
The location is excellent, close to the famous beach. The only downside is that the hotel is older, doesn't have a refrigerator, and be aware that parking is expensive.
A very good choice. Since I decided to go to the sea, I chose this hotel. After I checked in, I went through the formalities and then went to see the sea. It was a very good choice and a very good experience.
The house is a hundred years old and has been renovated. Ideally, it is very close to the beach, just a 3-minute walk away.
The room is small but the location is great. It's a short walk to the beach and the pedestrian street. The service facilities are simple but very friendly.
Facilities: Complete
Service: The front desk lady is very pretty and the service is very enthusiastic
Hygiene: Not bad

Arrived at the hotel early~ Because check-in was at 4pm~ so I stored my luggage first~ Tom in the lobby was very enthusiastic~ When I picked up my luggage... After knowing that it was my first time staying at this hotel, he enthusiastically told me how to use the elevator by swiping a card (although I knew it, I was still very grateful to him)!
The most expensive hotel during the trip, about 4000 per night. I thought it was close to the beach and the land was very expensive, but when I arrived, I found it was a small motel, so the price was high. I was in a hurry to leave when I checked out, so I didn't look carefully. I turned around and realized that I had to park at the door and drop off the person. I was charged for parking? It seemed...
To be honest, there are not many bad things, and the location is very convenient. I just don't think it's worth the money, just pay for the location
The room is spacious and close to a supermarket. It is cost-effective, less than 1,000 RMB per night. The only problem is that there is no kettle. You can ask for hot water at the restaurant downstairs. If you are used to drinking hot water, it is recommended to bring your own.
The hotel is located on the Pacific Ocean. The beach is very good. It is connected to Highway 66 END. The lights are lively at night and there are many tourists. During the day, the sea is rough and the beach is comfortable for sunbathing. However, the hotel price is a bit high. There is an additional parking fee and tip. Low
In front of the beach and the Santa Monica pier, unbeatable location. Rooms clean and in good condition, the only problem is that we reserved two rooms in advance because we are a family of 6 and they placed us on different floors, that caused us some problems, but the rest is highly recommended

The room is very small for the price. It is true that Kelly Westlar's design is very beautiful and every detail is full of care. However, it is more experienced in the public areas and restaurants. It is recommended that you go to dine to experience the designer's skills. Personally, I don't think it is necessary.

It's best to book a sea view room. It's just been renovated and there's still some furniture smell in the room. It's very close to Santa Monica and it's only a short walk away. It's very convenient
Environment: The hotel front desk is under renovation. The formaldehyde smell is strong when entering the room. The floor layout is very compact and crowded. The lighting is dim.
Service: It feels like there is basically no service. There was only one person at the front desk when I went there. It was too busy to serve everyone.
Not recommended. It is generally very shabby. It is recommended not...
It's a 10-minute walk from the beach. The hotel comes with valet parking, which is very considerate. The room is good for the price. There are many shopping and dining options nearby.
