Calamigos is amazing. Their service is top notch, and it's such a unique place. It really is a whole experience. The grounds are amazing. The food is consistently good...and the rooms are spacious with a great outdoor space and all so unique.

Hotel is clean, luxurious and well equipped with heated toilet bowl (Japan style). Breakfast food was great though the coffee can be improved.

This is my fourth time staying in this hotel. It wins in details. Although it is a four-star hotel, all the details are better than the five-star hotels in Shanghai. You can see the sea while lying on the bed. What could be more comfortable than this? Of course, because it is very close to the sea, the sound of the waves is still very loud at night, which needs to be overcome.

First-line sea view, history, old facilities

During the few days of staying, there happened to be a strike by the employees, and the strikes continued for three days and three nights. Seriously affect rest and sleep. The elevator for hotel guests has been broken for two days and has not been repaired. As a result, you have to take the freight elevator up and down, and the freight elevator is dirty and broken... An aging hotel with scammy extra charges (“resort fee”?!) and frustrating, obsequious staff. They protect the rooftop bar like it’s a crown jewel, but it’s full of dull people and dirty glassware.

The bar has a great view from the outdoor patio and it's fun going up the old school elevator to get there. I've had a good time with groups in the early to mid afternoon. Late night it's crowded so best to go with just one other person on a date or something. I usually get Irish coffee but if you want french fries they have a pretty cool "tower" with four varieties of them.

Spacious room, convenient and safe location

It was everything we dreamed. We chose to stay here on our honeymoon and it was incredible from the moment we walked in the front door. I always love staying at the Shore Hotel. The staff is very kind and the location is great. Very close to the beach, boardwalk, and promenade. Many great bars and restaurants nearby. And the pool/hot tub is fantastic. Raul, the head bartender, is also great and makes amazing drinks if you want a nice evening at the hotel!

The room is very small for the price. It is true that Kelly Westlar's design is very beautiful and every detail is full of care. However, it is more experienced in the public areas and restaurants. It is recommended that you go to dine to experience the designer's skills. Personally, I don't think it is necessary.

This is by far and away the best hotel in the Los Angeles area. It’s quiet, clean and peaceful. The nightly turn down is an added bonus. Everything here is done with care and consideration. Had a great stay here with wife and baby! The property felt safe and secure, the rooms were very modern and clean, bed was comfortable, the room got dark enough for the baby to nap easily. Lovely Santa Monica with a view of the beach Great hotel with great staff. In particular the chief concierge, Alex, was amazing. The property was down an elevator during my 4 day stay, which impaired us slightly. Pool that was supposed to be heated, didn’t appear that way at all. Otherwise , food is outstanding at Sugar Palm and the rooms are comfy.
