Great prices for the area. Views are killer. Walking distance to the beach, peir, restaurants, and shops. Room was very comfortable, modern, and new. Air conditioner works very well. They brought us chocolate to our room as a welcome gift. Car rental place in the parking garage. Friendly staff!

The hotel is stunning. I’ve stayed at every high end hotel in Santa Monica and this is the only hotel that actually lives up to the images you see online. But the beauty of the room/view isn’t why I’m leaving a review.... it’s because the staff were all SO incredible. Beyond accommodating... kind, nice and happy. It’s very refreshing to check in to such a fun group of people who genuinely care about your stay. Thanks to the beauty who checked me in!! Honestly it was a great weekend! Will be back.

Noce warm swimming pool. Nice lobby. Watched a sunset from there.. not the best but beautiful anyway. Very comfortable room. No bathtub. Nice glass shower .. while in the shower you can be watching across the room and outside from one side or the rest room from the other side... Can't see the point of such views while taking a shower except well.. why not. Staff a bit distant, good if you are seeking to be left alone.

Absolutely great visit! Modern chic accommodations and decor. Stunning views of the beach from the pool and some rooms! Hotel is centrally located to all Santa Monica has to offer. Hotel staff were great as well!!

The hotel was nice clean and modern. On the beach, close to food, fun and shopping. They charge for everything but the free mini bottles of water from the front desk. Bikes, pool, hot tub. Yes they charge you for all the amenities separate from your room. We paid on line and at check-in had to pay more for the amrnities charge *They do not give you free parking even with a $400 dollar a night room*... I want to think it was $40 a night to park. On street parking is bananas so don't try. Staff was nice and helpfull.

Decent hotel right on the beach. I travel to SM at least once a month so I know all the places to stay and this is a pretty good option. I had a last-minute trip come up and decided to book through Hotwire. Look, I know that Hotwire has a no cancellation policy, so I wasn't expecting anything from them when I unexpectedly had to cancel the trip.
However, seems like the Shore Hotel would want to do something for me--a frequent business traveler who paid them over $1000 for a last minute stay that I had to unavoidably cancel. So, I called and explained the situation. Zero empathy. Zero care. They're taking all of my money and are fine with it. Pretty shortsighted on their part--I will be giving them Zero more dollars and leaving them one measly star on every review site I can find.
Go stay somewhere that wants your business. Skip the Shore Hotel.

I always love staying at the Shore Hotel. The staff is very kind and the location is great. Very close to the beach, boardwalk, and promenade. Many great bars and restaurants nearby. And the pool/hot tub is fantastic. Raul, the head bartender, is also great and makes amazing drinks if you want a nice evening at the hotel!

We stayed here for 1 night before our stay in the mountains and loved the hotel so much that we decided to book again for another night when we returned. Such a great location with close proximity to the pier and beach with great ocean views depending on the room. Our entire family enjoyed the accommodations and we would definitely stay again. The only downside to our stay was a somewhat rude and snippy bellhop (unlike the rest of the staff) but they were very busy so he may have been a bit frustrated.

Stayed here this pass weekend and I'd stay there again. My first trip to San Monica, hotel close to restaurant, & San Monica Pier. Clean hotel and front desk very helpful. Had a great view from the room of San Monica Pier. Asked for extra towels from house cleaning and delivered quickly. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
