Its a very nice hotel. The restaurant is great. Make sure you don't ever get a room thats on the side of the hotel on Vicente Terrace Street. Its extremely load! Best to get a room inside the Courtyard.

This is by far and away the best hotel in the Los Angeles area. It’s quiet, clean and peaceful. The nightly turn down is an added bonus. Everything here is done with care and consideration. I had the pleasure and privilege of staying at Shutters on two separate occasions and will definitely be back.

It’s the best. From the time we pulled up to the time we left we were treated with first class service. My family and I had a fantastic time and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Santa Monica.

Despite the late hour and the kitchen being about to close, the staff at Lobbies Cafe and Bar provided exceptional service to my family and me during our visit. They were friendly and accommodating, creating a memorable experience for us. The unique and antique decor of the cafe, along with the beautiful garden, added to the overall charm of the place.

Great location and nice enough service, but won’t come again as room so bad. Really little noise insulation made worse by loud staff banging around from 5am. Very dark too as a “non ocean view” could equally have been described as a “non-sky view”. Just a brick wall (see photo), you need to actually step out of the room to see the sky!
