I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing!

It was lovely but I wouldn’t say the room was a 5 star room. I’ve stayed in other 5 stars where the rooms were a lot nicer. For the price it was quite expensive. We only stayed for one night as it was a stop off as we drove through California, we did like the location and the fireplace was nice.

We had a wonderful stay here! We came for a business trip but had a day at the beach, it was very nice. The beach area was great, they set up beach chairs for you by request & deliver drinks to you. Valet was nice to have although the only option. Employees were all friendly.

We recently stayed at Malibu Beach Inn and had a very average experience. Although this is a nice hotel, it is not a 5-star hotel as advertised. When we checked into the room, the sheets and pillow cases were dirty. When we called the front desk, the staff was apologetic and housekeeping came immediately. I took a shower, and the towel had yellow stains on it. Front desk apologized and sent new towels quickly. The friendliest staff are the receptionists and valet. If you want to lay on a beach all day, this is not the hotel for you. In photos online, you see beach chairs and umbrellas. The tide is too high and you likely won't be allowed to get chairs until 3/4 PM. We witnessed customers asking for chairs and the hotel denied it due to high tide. When we were able to get chairs, there was only one person running the beach service who was missing for quit a while. Nobody is constantly there. If you don't like waiting for things, this also isn't the hotel for you. Besides the valet, Everything takes 10-25+ minutes. We asked to order a drink on the beach and the server asked us to wait because he was overwhelmed. There was only one other family on the beach. The hostess at the restaurant was not welcoming and you constantly felt like a burden. All that was provided throughout the trip were random apologies. The experience wasn't that enjoyable. The hotel is built in the rocks and the location is great. If you plan to spend most of your time in the room or just visiting other places outside of the hotel, this makes sense. We were so excited to stay here to celebrate our engagement, and it was not what we expected.

Stayed here with my wife for our Anniversary and loved the place. Views are amazing, food is wonderful and enjoyed listening to the ocean sounds outside our room. They offer some good online deals throughout the year.

Phenomenal view and great service! They made everything smooth and nice to each guest. Excellent balance between formality and humble friendliness. Esp. it was fabulous to let guests access the beautiful gym "Cure" which is located across from the hotel.

We love dining at this restaurant. View is amazing in the food has always been delicious! Service is great too. We have never had a bad experience here.

Nice accommodations. Simple, but adequate. Because it was open air, it reminded me of a motor lodger on the side of the road. It was really noisy. The service at the restaurant was terrible. We stayed a few days and they messed up our order repeatedly. The wasn't apologetic. It took a long time to get our good even though it wasn't crowded. Three food was heavy and greasy. There wasn't much innovation on the menu and not a lot for vegetarians. It was the low point of our stay.

A lot of thought had gone into the detail of the hotel and the room was stylish with a lot of nice finishes…. lovely bed linens towels etc ….extras such as binoculars were a nice touch…. good size balcony and you are right on the beach…. easy access via terrace…food is good but like a lot of California expensive…. always find it annoying to pay for breakfast…. good choice though…. staff are wonderful very kind and always happy to help

The view was utterly gorgeous, and it was definitely such a treat to be able to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset. Our party was early for our reservation and we understood that, so we requested to get a couple drinks at the bar while we waited. The manager was a bit rude about it, but it seemed it was due to being understaffed/not having a bartender, which she could’ve just communicated to us instead of being short with us. Our servers were wonderful and super friendly, which made up for the initial experience once we were finally seated. The cocktails were delicious and the salmon was absolutely delectable.
