Dated and needs repair. Also don't expect to sleep past 6. They had a powerwashing crew on the roof at 6 am. But the staff were very polite. Could have a great setting but they need to make a back deck that connects to the ocean in their very back yard. What a waste of space.

Do not waist your money or your time!!!! We arrived at 9:30pm after a long day of travel. (My 13 year old daughter and I) only to have been charged for a night and denied our stay. I was having bank issues and could pay in cash and was declined with out an outrageous “deposit”. So I asked to just stay the one night (since I paid for it already) and I would figure out the bank issues in the am. Nope! The lady helping us was awful and rude. She called her “manager” and spoke in Spanish where we could not understand her. Then told me sorry don’t know what to tell you pretty much. I was in a panic thank god for the Hilton Garden Inn. Called and the staff was super helpful. Spindrift is a family owned hotel you think they would care about a mother and daughter traveling alone 1500 miles from home. They had no problem turning away a mother and child. I was not trying to get anything handed to me. Just the night I was already charged. Also the hotel is not as advertised! Nasty nasty from what we saw in the lobby. Smelled like it had not been cleaned since the 80s and the floor and rug was filthy. If this is what you are welcomed with I can only imagine how awful the rooms are. I am not usually the type of person to post a bad review. But I think people should know how this place treats there so called guests. And to find out nothing was wrong with my credit card. It worked at the Hilton 20 min latter 😡 Definitely go down the road there are so many nice hotels. This is not the one!!!!

Hotel is expensive (almost $1000/2 nights, city view) although location nice on Cannery row. Valet parking is best option at $32/day. Breakfast in bed, dry sandy hard cooked egg, dry toast, coffee and tea not great, mystery cheese. TV malfunctioned all my 2 nights and kept turning self on. Desk knew, thought fixed. Fire place had black box and wires sticking out. Had to make my own "do not disturb" sign with a sticky note. Could be better accommodations especially for the price.
