Great location. You could walk to anything you needed.

We are owners at Wyndham but this was our first time at Towers on the Grove. The check in process was one of the quickest I've ever done. Then you have to go see the concierge to get your wristbands like every other Wyndham. This is of course to get you to the "updates" meeting that turns into the sales pitch. I refuse to go to any of these at any resort and mostly they get rude and argue with you when you say no 5 times. This place they were a little more pleasant which I appreciated. They still asked me 4 times to go to meeting but when I refused they weren't that bad. The 2 bedroom standard room was laid out odd but clean and we were only there for 3 nights. My family enjoyed the resort and will probably be back.

I booked a stay in June for the weekend of August 11. When I arrived with 2 family members from Massachusetts, I was told my room was not available, that I cancelled it. Then the story changed and they said they cancelled it, for no particular reason. They then took it upon themselves to book me at a different hotel, 20 minutes into the interior of Myrtle Beach when I had an ocean front suit. How that is an acceptable solution in their minds is beyond me. The staff was unaccommodating and unapologetic, sorry about your luck type attitude, now go to your other hotel. Absolutely unacceptable. I've been to whyndam's all over the world and am a diamond member and I've never experienced anything so unprofessional. Thank you for ruining a 10 year old boys vacation, we really appreciate it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had read a review stating that they will sometimes randomly give your room away to people who are higher up. Our room was given away an hour and a half before we were supposed to arrive for check in and I had even spoken to an employee early this week and had confirmation we had a room that way and an email. This hotel will never get our business again. We were an hour and a half away from a 14 hour drive with a hour and half notice we no longer had a room to stay in and there were no rooms available. Thankfully Extra Holidays handled everything very well and didn't leave us stranded like Wyndham would have done. We are incredibly disappointed with Wyndham Towers on the Groove.

We have been Wyndham resort owners for over 25 years and we never had a problem with any of the resorts until this one. We had dirty towels and our unit and a floor outlet that was popped up out of the ground which I will include the pictures. The last picture was taken when they came up and supposedly fix the outlet. The activities around the resort are nice. Walkable to the grocery store bar convenient location. The sales person was rather rude. Told us that we were not physically responsible because we did not buy into any more of the resorts. To me this was very unprofessional. The sales people will pushy. The first gentleman we spoke to was very nice and kind but then they let the hounds out. We are VIP members to which we were supposed to get an automatic upgrade of our room and that did not occur either.

This goes as a warning to myself to really review the room layout before upgrading to a 2 bedroom oceanfront. Now this sounds like a good upgrade deal however the floor plan was very odd. The main bedroom that faced the oceanfront side did not have a private bathroom. The bathroom was in the hallway across from the galley kitchen. Which seems like a odd layout for a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 kids). The kitchen had very little counter space and a small dishwasher. The back bedroom had a private bath with a spa tub and 1 double bed which is good for little kids but not so much for teens. We ended up letting 1 teen sleep on the sleeper pullout couch which mad for little space to maneuver in the living area. I would not stay in this room type for more than 2-3 night. Just too cramped and uncomfortable. Plus the only access to the balcony is from the main bedroom.The views from the balcony was great since we were on a high floor. Very quiet at night. I liked the fire pit, corn hole and short access to the beach. Parking was across the street and we didn’t have problems finding a space. However it was a bit inconvenient to have to cross a busy street near a major intersection to get to the parking deck. Overall, I would stay here again but just not in this type of room.

This place is ok. It could be awesome! It’s a timeshare, and they are constantly trying to sell you. I get that, but I am on vacation and the way we got here is we already own the timeshare. STOP IT!

We stayed the week of 8/21 with 2 small kids. This was a fantastic resort. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location and facilities were great! The pool, lazy river and hot tubs were a huge hit for the kids. Great access straight to the beach. Walking distances to a huge grocery store and restaurants. The bedrooms were big with a bath in each one ( two bedroom room ) highly recommend staying here.

There are several Wyndham properties down here in the Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach area I really like the location of this one.
It's considered to be in the Cherry Grove section of Myrtle Beach. This resort was a condominium until about 10yrs ago I believe when Wyndham started to buy or manage the majority of the units. So they were all redone and converted into Wyndham timeshare units which are very nice.
There are a few corner units on the left side facing the ocean that are particularly nice. Also a large parking garage across the way.
Great beach access. Several restaurants are nearby as well as a nice supermarket within walking distance.
I usually recommend this resort to people coming down to this general area since it's in the nicer section of the grand strand and plenty of room on the beaches!
