Drury Plaza Hotel New Orleans, New Orleans1 / 50
9.3
New Orleans, 820 Poydras Street 🧭 Map
We loved the place! Breakfast and complimentary dinner (which we did not expect!) with drinks were great. Outdoor pool and fantastic gym. Great location, allowing you to walk to most places of interest and huge parking (paid additionally, but worth the price). Our suite was very spacious and clean. It was also very quiet because it was located on the top floor. But all of that was surpassed by absolutely...
Excellent stay. Great location .Easy drive to airport. Helpful friendly staff. Amazing value. Loved the free evening drinks and the huge variety of food on offer at both breakfast and in the evening. We plan to visit New Orleans again and will definitely stay at The Drury Plaza.
Our stay at the Drury Plaza was great! The rooms were clean, the entire hotel to include the common areas (lobby, dinning room, pool, jacuzzi, outside patio, parking garage) was immaculate. The staff was friendly and courteous. The complementary breakfast and dinner was great! The location is close to everything. If you don’t mind walking to Bourbon Street than you are not too far.
Great hotel! The rooms were very clean. The staff provided excellent customer service. I really like the daily breakfast and evening kickback. If you leave something behind, do not expect it to be in the lost and found.
Our family group of 13 spent 6 nights (7/2 to 7/8) at the Drury Plaza Hotel in New Orleans, LA. This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful architecture inside. We loved that they had complimentary breakfast every morning, as well as complimentary light dinner items and adult drinks every evening. This hotel is within walking distances to many attractions and restaurants. They had a secured parking...
We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The warm breakfast and afternoon reception were awesome! Everyday my family and I would rush back to the hotel just to enjoy the evening reception. After walking and touring the city, I needed those 3 alcoholic beverages! Ask the staff whatever you need, and they will take the time to help you. Honestly, we didn't want to...

This Holiday Inn Express was remarkably clean. The room was slightly smaller than I expected but the accomodations were nice. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was quiet without distractions during the night. The bed was comfortable. The sliding bathroom door was different, offerimg less privacy than I am accustomed to but it was adequate. Complimentary breakfast was a nice treat also
A solid 3 star rating. Pros: convenient location to popular tourist spots, small workout room with free weights, small pool, price point. Cons: breakfast is limited, room layout, room cleanliness. In all, this is a nice place to stay because of the bargin. Don't expect to be blown away by the breakfast or wifi speed\coverage. The bathroom sink was built out into my room, which I found a bit strange...
My experience was great. Staff was very nice. Rooms were up to date and clean. The kids loved it. Will definitely be back
This is a nice clean hotel. Great location as it is walking distance from the French Quarter. Very nice staff as Angelica was very hospitable at the front desk.
Hotel was nice and rooms were updated but small. My room had a lovely view of the AC unit, but it was fine. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was a pretty standard continental buffet set up.
The rooms were clean and well decorated but they are a little small, but it's okay because most people don't spend too much time in the room.

Best Hotel on our trip through the South. Modern, super clean, lots of space, well equipped and pretty quiet. It's very close to the "Hood" but fenced parking area, a doorman and Security from Hospital next door gives you a good feeling. It's just 10 min to French Quarter and Canal St. Unbeatable at this price, will recommend it to everyone who likes to visit NO.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations! Fantastic service from all employees I encountered. The parking lot is technically “across the street”, but it’s very close and has security. We were able to walk to many great shops and restaurants, and the drive to further attractions wasn’t far at all. I would stay here again, and I have already recommended it to friends and family! Thank you for a great...
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and wish I could have stayed longer. I'm glad I was able to stay here for the short time I did. Facilities are nice, and well kept. It's nice, clean, and quaint. Noticed a few maintenance issues with shower head rust and the balcony needing some love, but for the price of this gem, it's not unexpected. The customer service was amazing! It felt like every customer...
Clean. Liked the room, shower-only was OK. Fridge could have had a freezer compartment. Was happy parking lot was monitored, and no problem with the car.
This is the best hotel in the world. I stayed in this hotel for about 2 weeks after I had surgery and was burglarized. It was a horrific time in my life. The entire staff knew who I was and who my dog was. They checked in with me, helped me with rates, went beyond their jobs as my neighbors to see if I needed anything and gave me organizations to look into for help. The cleaning staff helped me keep...
Very nice and clean room. Went to the front desk to ask them to change the battery in the safe and the guy was there to do it before I got back to the room. Great service and friendly staff. Free parking in a reasonably well lit lot across the street. No breakfast anymore?

Close to everything and the staff is great!!! Friends coming to visit have parking in public parking P402 right across the street. The beds are comfy and the noise level is low, even when the rest of New Orleans is awake.
We came in late from burbon st and the front desk attendant was MIA, got stuck outside for around 10 minutes. Its a gorgeous hotel, everyone is friendly, its kept nice and shiney.
The room was not quite ready when we got there but they kept our luggage for us. They were all friendly. The breakfast lady was a little bit hovering . Our room was beautiful with a window facing Decatur st, a comfortable king size 4 poster bed, the bathroom had a huge walk in marbled shower. The room was nice and quiet. The desk clerk printed our boarding passes and the bell man called us a cab...
We love Bienville House! We come here annually and it's fabulous every time. The staff are wonderful--we have a 7 year old daughter who they remember every time and treat like royalty (Beverly is the best, and we also love the breakfast staff). She loves the pool, which is lovely. We go every morning and sometimes again at night. The recent room renovations just make it that much nicer.
Very much enjoyed our stay here. Room was good and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Location was perfect - in the French Quarter, but on a somewhat quieter street. Also close to Canal and the river.
Best boutique hotel I've ever been to! Every thing was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Upon entering my room there was fresh tulips and mimosas waiting. The concierge and desk staff always gave us the best suggestions on where to go to eat. The room was always serviced when we were gone and on the final day they left us beignets. I love this place so much that when I go back to New Orleans...

I had a great time staying at this hotel. It's very chic and modern, and its location is prime real estate as it is walking distance to everything. The only concerns were the low water pressure and the frequent breakdowns of the small elevators. Despite these issues, I still believe it offers good value for the price considering its location, and I definitely plan to come back.
Loved this place. It was great! Very nice, clean, and quiet. The location is great and close enough to everything. The room was unique in its layout which was cool and different. It had a very comfortable bed and pillows, and a very spacious shower with abundant hot water and power behind the spray which I appreciate so much. It had all the amenities I look for in a hotel, and the staff was really...

The hotel was very nice. The room was very spacious and modern. The valet Mr. Floyd was outstanding. Really enjoyed talking with him every day. Now the bad the front desk. It was as if they were reading from a script. They were horrible morning staff and evening staff also. I really like this hotel and its location. There need to be major improvements or changes to the staff.
Excellent location with easy access to all the sights. Very helpful and courteous staff.
The location of this hotel is perfect! We flew in early and were able to get checked in to a room right when we arrived, so that was great. Our room is very nice and seems very clean. A few downsides to this hotel are the extremely warm hallways and ice rooms. No temperature regulation whatsoever. The pool itself is tiny and the pool area is dull and lifeless. Doesn't feel inviting or make me want...

As stated in the comment before, yes this is part of the hospital. Yes it's an old Hospital, but it's an excellent hospital!!! Handles specialty cases from all over the world and a leader in medical procedures. Fortunately this Hospital has a hotel for patients and their families!!! Very nice service and location for us as out of town visitors. It's part of the hospital, but the hotel itself is a seperate area which was not busy or loud. Location was 5 minutes from plenty of local things, less than 15 minute drive to parking in the French Quarter. We were very glad we chose to stay here!
Comfortable place to spend an evening. Not luxurious, but adequate. Centrally located and moderately priced.
This hotel is part of Ochsner Health System. Room is very spacious and clean. It is close to the causeway and not far from downtown.
Recently stayed here while a family member was in the hospital. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds and bedding were comfortable. There is a very nice atrium as well as a pool.

My reason for the visit was for dining at the Copeland's cheese cake bistro connected to the hotel.. the food was amazing, and the appetizers were also good.... The desserts, especially the cheese cake are really really good... The overall atmosphere were comfortable and welcoming. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because customer service can be a little bit better.
Great service - Adilah Brodie at the front desk was outstanding. Older hotel that could use a refresh. Room were big, clean and comfortable.
Good location. Walkable to WWII museum and if you're back walker, then you can even get to the French Quarter. Rooms are larger, probably refurbed not that long ago. Bathrooms could use a little help. Cheaper than the better names, but it's a bed and it worked.
Real gem of a find. Centrally located to attend a wedding on St Charles - just across street from church & a block from reception at Eiffel Society. Good hot breakfast; wonderfully friendly, helpful staff & comfortable, spacious room. Right on streetcar line with a stop in front of hotel. Very accommodating to my 80+ parents too.
My wife and I are in town for her reconstructive breast surgery and this hotel is partnered with the Reconstructive Breast Center of NOLA. The rate is discounted and they were gracious enough to upgrade the room to the suite with a jacuzzi tube and balcony. I big thanks for making my wife more comfortable before her surgery. The only reason for 4 stars is because the room needs a little TLC. The caulking...
The location and balcony can't be beat, but the walls are VERY thin and we could hear EVERYTHING from the folks next door. The space needs to be updated (we had a leaky tub faucet) but it's stylish and comfortable. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful! We had a great time and it was perfect for our trip, we just wished the room was quieter.

The hotel service was great. Our room (king suite) was spacious and clean. The hotel was located in the French quarters without it being too close to the action (although you can occasionally hear the street ruckus at night). It's a lovely hotel that certainly lives up to its historical name.
Quaint. Excellent location. Strange lights turning off and on and water appearing randomly. We chalked it up to the ghost lore and enjoyed the stay. :-)
The hotel is in a great location with a terrific lounge on the property. there is a coffee shop type restaurant but the service is really weak. since there are hundreds of other places it is easy to skip.
The hotel is super old and needs renovation. The carpet was stained, the walls flaking, the switches need to be replaced and you get a general feeling that the room is not as clean as it should be. I even found black hairs on the bathroom tiles. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. One lady knocked on our door, but didn't give us enough time to answer and she...

I loved the location, the staff and the bed was super comfy. it has the old new Orleans feel so Dont expect a modern property. but why would you want modern in New Orleans. the bar next door - May Baileys is the best!! we loved the music and the drinks. Jennifer behind the bar was the best hostess. will definitely return to the hotel and the bar.
Good location for walking around the French Quarter. Very friendly staff, including the valet. However, the "premium balcony" room was communal with a pitiful lock keeping anyone out. For our second night we moved to a more modern hotel on the opposite side of Canal Street. It's cheaper, more comfortable, cleaner, and has many more accommodations. Also, May Bailey's was 80% why we booked; however,...
The staff was super friendly and sweet. It is an older hotel so of course it's not going to be super up to date. The TVs can be updated but the room itself was comfy! The shower was a little weird on how to get it running but was a great shower. Great place
Check in was smooth. Receptionists are exceptional! Room is traditional and not overly large as is expected for a historic venue. It is close to Bourbon Street and is in the historic French quarter. I would give it 5 stars except for one not-so-small problem. I have an issue with the smell as I enter the room each time. It's hard to describe but is unpleasant. I suggest that if the carpets were cleaned...
We stayed here for our wedding, and it was the perfect setting. I love the courtyard pool and the quaint bar attached. Our room was enormous, and we had a balcony overlooking the street, which was nice spot to sit and sip wine in the evenings. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is because the carpet felt dirty and smelled a little, and the old windows had gaps that let the air conditioning...

Are we like New Orleans in it’s cheap it’s private and they give you everything you need
We had a good stay memorial weekend. Wasn't crowded had newly remodeled rooms a little small for some but was safe clean efficient and good water pressure and good hot water better than most places at a higher price. map it to see if you'd like it before booking. It may not be for everyone. We enjoyed the stay
I had to have them clean the bathroom and put clean sheets on the beds as soon as I inspected the room. Someone stole the light bulbs from the wall lights. The gentleman came in and replaced them and fixed the switch. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The other bed not so much. The employees were very nice.
I contemplated even putting this review because I didn't want anybody to find out about this motel. It is such a hidden gem. Sure, it looks sketchy on the outside but the interior was unexpected. I requested a non-smoking room and was pleasantly surprised. All the upholsteries were new and modern looking. Bed cover design was horrible though. Bathroom was a regular hotel bathroom. Really cool place right in the middle of NO, only wish they had softer mattresses. The breakfast is really nice too.
Love it! such a historical and typical French Quarter abode. Staff was great, Krystal, Carla and other staff (I didn't catch their names) were all great. Very helpful and friendly! Alex
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are definitely dated, but interesting and clean. I wouldn't really recommend a stay to large parties because the bedrooms and bathrooms are small. My favorite thing about the hotel is its fabulous location and the free breakfast out in the courtyard.
Couldn't have asked for a better nights stay! Audoin DeVergnette was great as well everyone else we met. It was Quiet, Water and coffee available all day. Our room was beautiful. Not your cookie cutter plain Jane hotel. Great location in French quarter. This historical hotel gets my vote for my next stay in NOLA!
We stayed for 4 days. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed seeing them during our stay. Our rooms were cleaned, sheets were changed and the court yard was a lovely place to sit and hangout. The hotel is perfectly placed in the middle of all the french quarter happenings. When we come back, I would definitely stay there again.

Room was amazing! Love the super high ceilings and the French doors in between the living room area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped (stove, fridge, microwave, dishes) to prepare a meal if needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful when I asked about things to do in the city. Great location! Short walk to Canal Street and the French Quarter. Breakfast was decent and I liked the fact that it was served to you. The room was clean. The only con was the water pressure was very low and at times you couldn't flush the toilet. I would stay again.

Everything was pretty good with the hotel. The room was nice, great view of the city, it was in walking distance of pretty much everything. Around 20 minutes or so! The only issue was that we stayed 4 days and didn’t get service to our room.
The hotel was dirty. The elevators had trash on the floor and were sticky. We checked in Saturday and got no housekeeping services until Monday. We requested them on Sunday. Continental breakfast? Lol!!!! The staff was nice. The rooms should be repainted. The shower was nice. Glad the room had microwave and fridge because they had no open restaurant or bar on the premises.
Great location for convention goers. Has decent meeting rooms, but the setup on the second floor is very awkward and hard to find. Catering services were good along with service.
Convenient location. However room service is a bit lacking. If you use the shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles, room service will just throw them away and not give you new ones. You'll need to ask the front desk for more even if you are staying many nights. Definitely one of the lower end options for a Hilton.
Oh my goodness! I have suddenly stayed at a more accommodating and cordial hotel. That staff we're fabulous. It was my fiance's birthday and they made her feel so special! Everyone was so kind and helpful to us. I am definitely looking forward to heading back to New Orleans

Very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, comfortable bed mattress and plenty of big fluffy pillows. Biggest drawback is no mini fridge or microwave oven.
The location was perfect, just 2 blocks from Bourbon, and other streets with party atmospheres. Maison Dupuy was just far enough away for a quiet stay. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The staff could NOT have been more accommodating! The location was awesome. Close to everything without the craziness. Loved everything about my stay, except that I had to leave.
What a great motel. Old but very clean. Friendly and informative staff. We had a little trouble with housekeeping scheduling our room to be cleaned but other than that it was great. Within walking distance from many attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
What a great hotel!!! Fantastic location near Bourbon Street. We want to bring the whole extended family to see the WWII Museum and stay here. It’s better than a high rise. This place has character. Thank you Dawn Bourgeois for all your great suggestions from the concierge desk. Love your fantastic advice!!! So friendly and smart!!! Hope to see you soon.

I stayed here twenty years ago and the way in which 612 illustrated the essence of new Orleans is without parallel. I'm sure it's changed since the first time a yellow taxi cab dropped me off at the front gate, to be met and greeted by Blake, who was the best host I could have imagined. SpringHill Suites by Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District
New Orleans, 301 Saint Joseph Street 🧭 Map
The room size was so much bigger and better than expected. Breakfast was adequate and abundant, dinning area was large and spacious and clean! Very clean and sanitized Staff was friendly and helpful
The hotel was very nice and spacious. There were two televisions, which I thought was a bit much. The breakfast was good. The staff was decent, but they were rushing us out before our checkout time, and the housekeeper let herself in the room, while we were very preparing to leave. The cost of parking was ridiculous, especially given the cost of the hotel.
Great hotel by the warehouse district. Has a pool, daily breakfast, and is clean. Staff is friendly and quick to respond to needs. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated decently. Overall, I enjoyed my time.
Stood there for 5 days and it was just a great experience the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent especially the coffee. It is withing walking distance from everything. Will definitely stay the next time we head out to New Orleans.
Nice and comfy. Although bed could have been a little softer but I can't complain to much because I have tender skin from fibromyalgia. Nice and clean. Friendly staff.
I booked online and was given a specific check in time yet when I arrived I waited two and a half hours and still no room. I was put on a waiting list upon arrival and was told I would be called when the room was available but no one did. After the call to Marriot customer service we were immediately given a room. I had no issues with the room and the breakfast was great, however I also have an issue...
