Stayed here for the Eras tour and had an amazing experience. Staff was so nice. The hotel had free friendship bracelet making and glitter before the show. They had bottles of water available for when we returned after the show. Room was clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. They made our stay so nice and catered to us Swifties 💓🫶
Good location near the French quarter, louis Armstrong park and tram stops for further afield and bourbon street for a little jazz and people watching. Large room, comfy bed, good air-conditioning. Rooftop pool is nice to have but very small. Loads of cafes close by for breakfast and dozens of restaurants walking distance.
My stay was absolutely flawless. From check in to check out the hotel provided excellent service. Every aspect of our stay went smoothly. The valet was always quick and polite with retrieving our car. A special THANK YOU to Mark at the front desk who helped me locate my suit that was left behind at check out. Thank you again. Would highly recommend this hotel for your business or vacation trip to New...
I’ll start with the positive being that it’s within great distance of bourbon street and good places to eat. However, upon arrival for our family reunion, our room was not ready. We were specifically advised that our room was cleaned but had yet to be inspected. We advised the concierge that due to the reunion, we were told we could check in earlier than 4PM, but to our surprise that was not the case...
This hotel was very nice and clean. It was easy to park and check in. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with parking and luggage. We were in a deluxe room and it was very nice and spacious and we especially liked the bathroom because the sink was behind the toilet door and it had a separate vanity. It was also close to Bourbon Street and many other local attractions, so it was easy to...
Personal visit 05/19/05. This hotel was fantastic and I highly recommend. Before arriving, we prepared a tray of gifts for the significant anniversary. Check-in was quick, easy and very friendly. The room was a good size, very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There are a few restrictions on breakfast and room service due to COVID-19, however they were quick to help with...

What a great hotel only a few block from the French quarters. You're close enough yet far enough that you don't experience a party until 4:00 am. Valet was great, nice upgrade to an executive sweet overlooking the super dome . The bed was great after a long day . Amenities offered were great in the bathroom and enjoyed the M club and pool/ gym area. Wonderful stay
This hotel is all about the location and the staff. Beautifully renovated, it could not be more conveniently located, literally across the street from the Convention Center and the Boardwalk shopping mall. The staff is amazing! Everyone is cheerful, helpful and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Special mention to Adam Ramirez who was super helpful when we needed to box and...
I want to start by saying that the hotel is extremely clean. The person that checked us in did an incredible job to accommodate any needs we had and blew me away with her great attitude. We weren’t a problem, but she was just so amazing so I have to say that, and then Danielle at the bar was very attended to everyone and she blew my mind by watching her take care of everyone, especially us, of course...
Ive stayed at this location the past 4 years as I traveled to New Orleans rather on business or family trip. This will be the only hotel I will stay at anytime I visit
Easy check in. Mclub closed but gave credit for parking. Friendly staff. Rooms were nice. Pool was pretty small. Only 1 mile walk from everything. Would stay here again.
What a wonderful vacation! The hotel is beautiful, beautifully decorated, clean, fresh air, just wow! The staff were amazing, I believe the gentleman named Tim who checked us in was a godsend! I mean from the moment we walked in the door he took great care of us. So helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! I stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and it was such a magical experience! Mike is such a kind soul and helped us figure out transportation and the beach. David was so helpful too in helping the whole time. It really did feel like a home away from home - felt so warm and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and historic but our room was renovated and so beautiful and clean. The Swiftie gift bag...
I loved this little spot! Super amazing staff they gave us recommendations on everything and did not let us down! The bar here was super cute and drinks were great. Room was very comfortable only downfall was the shower pressure was not great I would give hotel a 9/10 only negative was the shower pressure
We stayed in this hotel before and after a cruise. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave great advice on where to eat and what to do. The hotel was within walking distance of much of what we wanted to experience. Rooms were being renovated in part of the hotel, but we were placed in a renovated room. It was beautifully furnished. The 11/12 foot ceilings in the historically rich...
We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Location is amazing, we valet parked our car the first day and never drove it out until we checked out because we could walk to every destination on our list. Price is great especially for how close it is to the touristy areas of the french quarter. In a quiet location, nice amenities provided, gave us coupons for the bar and for nearby attractions. Beautiful lobby, nice pool. Although the bar was not very appealing in ambience and decor, the barman made excellent cocktails. Decent shower pressure and thick towels
Great location, friendly staff. Water pressure was more of a drizzle, otherwise lovely room! Very happy with my stay here.

Maison de la Luz
New Orleans, 546 Carondelet Street 🧭 Map
The whole ambience of the hotel was delightful. It felt decadently elegant. The theme of secret society leaves you with a sense of staying at an exclusive hotel, only for people in the know . Moreover, the breakfast experience at the Blue Room was marvelous. The pancakes and the avocado toast were divine. Defintly would stay there again.
There are few hotels in the world that could match the service, comfort and quality of accomodations that you will find at La Maison de la Luz. The breakfast room is an amazing way to start the day, Dominique, Harold and Thadeus made us feel welcome each morning. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. Brett and Alexander are great doormen. Sarah is a great concierge who makes planning...
Excellent hotel with wonderful people across the board. Fun and low key vibe. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Excellent shower. Great breakfast with the best bacon I’ve ever had. Access to the rooftop pool at the Ace Hotel (and their small gym) next door are a plus. Not the most exciting part of New Orleans, but well placed between the French Quarter and Garden District and restaurants and...
We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. Amazing decor and comfort in a historic building. Nice location, convenient enough to walk or Uber/taxi to most locations around town. Staff were friendly and service was impeccable. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel. Service was very good. All staff was very professional yet warm. Yummy cookies every night was one of my highlights. Rooms where beautiful and extremely clean. My only complaint is there seemed to be a small disconnect in communication which caused minor annoyances. But the staff was quick and eager to reconcile any issue. I'd definitely go back I feel like I know them.
I researched so many hotels for our first stay in New Orleans and I am so happy we landed on Maison De La Luz! This hotel is so beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and over the top AMAZING! Every single inch of this hotel is beautifully maintained. Most importantly I cannot say enough great things about the employees! The level of customer service is unmatched! This is a great hotel for being on bourbon. Actually getting updated as I type in the lobby. Rooms also have been updated. It’s an older hotel so things are a bit funky in terms of layouts but it works. Can’t beat the location. Hotel pool also was really nice. Blocked well from the wind so can use more than expected. Decent hotel bar. In walking distance to all the action of the French quarter...
A great location, minutes from anything you'd want to do in NOLA, and the rooms are fine... the insulation against the inside is great, but inside... housekeeping starts cleaning at 8am sharp and all you hear after that is doors REPEATEDLY slamming against the security bolt. I would've thought a family of 12 was moving out of a 3 story apartment with the amount of noise. That said, they were sure to...
If you want to be in the middle of everything but also be able to get away from it all, this is a great hotel. The needs were comfy and the balcony overlooking the courtyard was cute. We wanted to be overlooking Bourbon St with a gallery (covered balcony), but I think we probably got more sleep where we were. However, they should have told us that the cockroaches in the trees will get into your room...
If you are looking for a quality hotel in the French Quarter, I definitely recommend Four Points. The people working the front desk are especially nice and helpful. The wait staff was pretty good. The pool was enjoyable. I wish they made a bit more shade around the pool, but it was still fun. Our room was a little run down, like the toilet didn’t flush right and the water faucet in the bathroom sink...
Great location and great hotel. Definitely a deal if you want to be in the French Quarter.
Central location, in the heat of the action. Restaurants are at within a 2 minute walk, bars, shops, the Mississippi River is 10 minutes away, Congo Square as well. If you want to enjoy all the vibes of the city nightlife, get a room on Bourbon Street. If, like me, you want to sleep before 3am, book a room with a garden/pool view. All the staff is very helpful and accommodating.

First time here in New Orleans. I was very impressed with the quality and the security of this hotel. Valet parking was so nice, car was secure and returned promptly when requested. Walking distance from all of the restaurants and bars. The employees were so very polite and helpful with all of our needs. I will definitely be returning to explore more and this will be the hotel I book at.
Great location. Staff was nice. Hillary checked us in, she was really quick and personable. Only few complaints : window view lol not ideal at all, had us thinking it was muggy and raining all day, the air doesn’t feel like it working throughout the night, and no pool, but overall great experience. Would stay again, really close to bourbon, same street really. .always felt safe walking as well..
Overall a positive experience. The location to bourbon street was great. The room was clean, but our room was hot. We couldn’t turn the air down anymore. The main reason I stayed here was because I brought my dog with me to go to a specialty hospital in New Orleans. My biggest issue was that there was no where for my dog to use the restroom. When I asked the front desk staff if there was an area for...

Enjoyed our stay, great location, and patio pool ambiance! My partner complained the service door near room 304 was a bit disruptive, audibly getting access through the night, but I slept through it! And I mentioned to the manager and he was concerned and investigated. So 5 stars from me.
Visited this past weekend with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. The staff was beyond kind and accommodating. From the front desk to the bartender. To the employees that you passed on your way up to the room. Always a smile and a hello. Taylor the bartender was so so sweet and helpful! The staff at the W was among the friendliest I've ever met. Everyone, from the bartenders, waitresses, front desk personnel, manager, and even the cleaning crew were wonderful. Staff were quick to close gates at any hint of trouble in the neighbourhood. The restaurant at the hotel has suck delicious food and great entertainment.

We loved the place! Breakfast and complimentary dinner (which we did not expect!) with drinks were great. Outdoor pool and fantastic gym. Excellent stay. Great location .Easy drive to airport. Helpful friendly staff. Amazing value. Loved the free evening drinks and the huge variety of food on offer at both breakfast and in the evening. We plan to visit New Orleans again and will definitely stay at The Drury Plaza.
Our stay at the Drury Plaza was great! The rooms were clean, the entire hotel to include the common areas (lobby, dinning room, pool, jacuzzi, outside patio, parking garage) was immaculate. The staff was friendly and courteous. The complementary breakfast and dinner was great! The location is close to everything. If you don’t mind walking to Bourbon Street than you are not too far.
Great hotel! The rooms were very clean. The staff provided excellent customer service. I really like the daily breakfast and evening kickback. If you leave something behind, do not expect it to be in the lost and found.
Our family group of 13 spent 6 nights (7/2 to 7/8) at the Drury Plaza Hotel in New Orleans, LA. This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful architecture inside. This Holiday Inn Express was remarkably clean. The room was slightly smaller than I expected but the accomodations were nice. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was quiet without distractions during the night. The bed was comfortable. The sliding bathroom door was different, offerimg less privacy than I am accustomed to but it was adequate. Complimentary breakfast was a nice treat also
A solid 3 star rating. Pros: convenient location to popular tourist spots, small workout room with free weights, small pool, price point. Cons: breakfast is limited, room layout, room cleanliness. In all, this is a nice place to stay because of the bargin. Don't expect to be blown away by the breakfast or wifi speed\coverage. This is a nice clean hotel. Great location as it is walking distance from the French Quarter. Very nice staff as Angelica was very hospitable at the front desk.
Hotel was nice and rooms were updated but small. My room had a lovely view of the AC unit, but it was fine. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was a pretty standard continental buffet set up.
The rooms were clean and well decorated but they are a little small, but it's okay because most people don't spend too much time in the room.

Best Hotel on our trip through the South. Modern, super clean, lots of space, well equipped and pretty quiet. It's very close to the "Hood" but fenced parking area, a doorman and Security from Hospital next door gives you a good feeling. It's just 10 min to French Quarter and Canal St. Unbeatable at this price, will recommend it to everyone who likes to visit NO.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations! Fantastic service from all employees I encountered. The parking lot is technically “across the street”, but it’s very close and has security. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and wish I could have stayed longer. I'm glad I was able to stay here for the short time I did. Facilities are nice, and well kept. It's nice, clean, and quaint. This is the best hotel in the world. I stayed in this hotel for about 2 weeks after I had surgery and was burglarized. It was a horrific time in my life. Very nice and clean room. Went to the front desk to ask them to change the battery in the safe and the guy was there to do it before I got back to the room. Great service and friendly staff. Free parking in a reasonably well lit lot across the street. No breakfast anymore?

We came in late from burbon st and the front desk attendant was MIA, got stuck outside for around 10 minutes. Its a gorgeous hotel, everyone is friendly, its kept nice and shiney.
The room was not quite ready when we got there but they kept our luggage for us. They were all friendly. The breakfast lady was a little bit hovering . We love Bienville House! We come here annually and it's fabulous every time. The staff are wonderful--we have a 7 year old daughter who they remember every time and treat like royalty (Beverly is the best, and we also love the breakfast staff). She loves the pool, which is lovely. We go every morning and sometimes again at night. The recent room renovations just make it that much nicer.
Very much enjoyed our stay here. Room was good and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Location was perfect - in the French Quarter, but on a somewhat quieter street. Also close to Canal and the river.

My reason for the visit was for dining at the Copeland's cheese cake bistro connected to the hotel.. the food was amazing, and the appetizers were also good.... The desserts, especially the cheese cake are really really good... The overall atmosphere were comfortable and welcoming. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because customer service can be a little bit better.
Great service - Adilah Brodie at the front desk was outstanding. Older hotel that could use a refresh. Room were big, clean and comfortable.
Good location. Walkable to WWII museum and if you're back walker, then you can even get to the French Quarter. Rooms are larger, probably refurbed not that long ago. Bathrooms could use a little help. Cheaper than the better names, but it's a bed and it worked.

I loved the location, the staff and the bed was super comfy. it has the old new Orleans feel so Dont expect a modern property. but why would you want modern in New Orleans. the bar next door - May Baileys is the best!! we loved the music and the drinks. Jennifer behind the bar was the best hostess. will definitely return to the hotel and the bar.
Good location for walking around the French Quarter. Very friendly staff, including the valet. However, the "premium balcony" room was communal with a pitiful lock keeping anyone out. For our second night we moved to a more modern hotel on the opposite side of Canal Street. It's cheaper, more comfortable, cleaner, and has many more accommodations. Also, May Bailey's was 80% why we booked; however,...
The staff was super friendly and sweet. It is an older hotel so of course it's not going to be super up to date. The TVs can be updated but the room itself was comfy! The shower was a little weird on how to get it running but was a great shower. Great place
Check in was smooth. Receptionists are exceptional! Room is traditional and not overly large as is expected for a historic venue. It is close to Bourbon Street and is in the historic French quarter. I would give it 5 stars except for one not-so-small problem. I have an issue with the smell as I enter the room each time. It's hard to describe but is unpleasant. I suggest that if the carpets were cleaned...
We stayed here for our wedding, and it was the perfect setting. I love the courtyard pool and the quaint bar attached. Our room was enormous, and we had a balcony overlooking the street, which was nice spot to sit and sip wine in the evenings. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is because the carpet felt dirty and smelled a little, and the old windows had gaps that let the air conditioning...
The rooms are lovely and in a gorgeous building. The service is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast leaves much to be desired.

The hotel was very pretty just a couple blocks from the French quarter, the casino and most of the attractions. It's in a good spot to get to pretty much anywhere in a few minutes walk! The staff were very friendly and have better information on restaurant, if you don't want to get stuck in a tourist restaurant and you like the hole in the wall places. For the room it's self I wasn't as excited after...
This hotel is great for anyone who wants to be close to the action of New Orleans. It’s walking distances to bourbon street. The fitness center is one of the nicest I’ve seen. The hotel needs to add a few things to be perfect. 1. It would be great if the rooms had a microwave and a refrigerator in the rooms. 2. Our room and the floor our room was on smelled like wet carpet. 3. The room was hot even...
At this point I'm at day 4 of a 9 day stay. The room is on the 43rd floor with a view that is a bit overwhelming for a person with issues of height. I really can't look down without feeling a bit queasy. Now the stay has been delightful... Starbucks in the lobby. Front desk personnel are so helpful as are the folks at the concierge service. This is my second visit to NOLA and my second stay st...
Great hotel. You can safely take!
Had a great view of the city. The room was clean and the staff was nice when we checked in. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and looked great. Short distance to french quarter and bourbon. Would definitely stay here again
Looks nice from the outside. Stepping into lobby comes along with an overpowering scent of perfume - much like certain stores at the mall. The room itself was fine, but small details show through. Things like the toilet missing the covers for the seat hardware and the backing peeling away from the mirrors really kill the illusion. A few positives about the accommodations, the full length windows in...
