My husband and I stayed over Christmas. We expected the smaller sized rooms given it’s a hotel in the city and considering the price of other hotels with larger rooms- was one of the nicer cheaper options. We stayed for 5 nights.

The room was clean and was perfect for travellers like us who don’t spend much time apart from sleeping and showering in our hotel room when on an overseas trip. The room had the option of temperature control which was nice.

The location was perfect, close by to most popular touristy places but also not so in the hustle and bustle. Great places to eat close by.

Staff were friendly and helped when needed. Good lobby. The wifi was quite slow in our room but the lobby has plenty of seating so we sat down there when needing to use the internet.

Absolutely banger of a deal for the location. The rooms are dated and tiny but clean. When I say tiny I mean it. Service is phenomenal! and they have a place to store your bags even after you check out. Location is prime just a 5 min walk from MSG and the Empire State Building.

It was perfect for everything we wanted. The lady upon check in was kinda rude but everyone else we dealt with was very friendly. We booked the family room in Jan of 2024. The view from the top floor patio bar was beautiful!! And was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Bonus was we took the train from Toronto to NYC and this was a direct short walk to and from the station.

We stayed here for a mom’s getaway this past weekend. Four of us shared a room and we had plenty of space and the beds were comfy. The lobby is nice with lounge area and gas fireplace. Front desk person was friendly as were the housekeepers. Morning staff super chipper! The hotel is perfectly located with restaurants, bars, Penn station, Madison square garden, Times Square and theaters all just steps away. We will definitely be back!

Rooms are NOT as advertised. Way too small. Called in advanced to get a roll away bed, got confirmation that the room will have space for one. After arrival I was informed that the room I was in didn't have enough space for one. It wasn't until I got to the room I understood why. The room is so small you have 2½ feet between the foot of the bed and the door. There is no space in the room everything is cramped together. If the photos were accurate I would not have chose this place.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights over the Columbus day weekend. Location was great with Herald Square and Madison Square Garden so close by. On arrival, we had to leave the car in the street for check-in since there is no drop-off zone. We opted for valet parking which was only 5 dollars more a night but the process was complicated with the valet rudely telling us we had to go get a ticket if we wanted to use the service before simply walking away from us. Otherwise, check-in was painless with quick and friendly service. The elevators seem to be problematic as they kept breaking down during our stay. The breakfast was good considering it was continental with some really decent options. Now the room itself was one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in while in NYC... It was less than 100 square feet (bathroom included) and was touted as a "large corner room"... The door opened into the side table and after the bed and the desk took most of the space, we were hard pressed to find room to leave our single suitcase out... I would definitely recommend you get the king room as it appears slightly bigger than our "large corner room"... That being said, the room was very clean, the bathroom had good water pressure, the bed was comfortable and the service was good. Lastly, the wifi coverage was very poor on our floor and we found we had to leave our phones in or close to the bathroom to get decent coverage which is quite inconvenient. All in all, given the good deal we had on this room, I would say the hotel is worth considering if you're looking for a decent yet cheap hotel in this part of town!

Recommendable. If you are thinking to visit New York by location is a really good choice. There a Subway entrance close by as well as the Madison square garden. We were sleeping in their queen bedrooms and they had all the basics plus an iron and hairdryer. The breakfast is good enough, but I missed a bit more variety. It's a good place to stay overall.

A hotel with old and small rooms on the dirty street of korea.
Attention because they practice very high prices.
And they still charge extra nights.
The bedroom window does not allow you to see anything because it is dirty and does not open.
The room is really very mediocre.
There are better hotels and not so expensive in the area.
It is to be avoided definitively.

I travel to NYC twice a year for business and pleasure and I like La Quinta Inn for its location and roof top lounge. I have been coming here for three years now. The place is clean and the rooms are comfortable enough. So far so good. Today one of front desk personnel was extremely rude to my me when I was in line. There is better customer service in immigration!
