Highly recommend! Convenient and courteous /attentive staff. Best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time.
The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the parking garage. It's not right next door but a block away because there a large building in between them. You have to pay $30.00 for overnight parking & every time you take your vehicle out you must pay an additional hourly rate which can add up. Otherwise everything was excellent.
The location, the price, the staff, even the room were superb. Fantastic breakfast. The bar is open Tues-Saturday and had a quite outside area with a fire pit. Devon saved the wedding we were attending by printing out the mother of the bride speech for my friend for me. Emmanuel was great too. A 10 min walk and you see an amazing view of NYC WAY better from this side than the other side so I'll never...
The Rooms are small! It did not help that we were long stay customers and the space was quite cramped. That is the biggest drawback. That is something that you need to be aware of. Other than that, the place is great. It is right on the train station, and walking distance from everything that you need. The staff are friendly, the hotel is pet friendly, and there is a grocery store right next to the...
Path station is right next to the building so commute is smooth Rooms are pretty huge with great views and amenities (cooking , fridge, iron etc.) (TV could've had better reception) Only thing that is stopping me from giving a 5 star was the limited breakfast options available and sugary juice (which splashes a lot when you try to pour in a glass) also, there was no housekeeping at 7in the morning...
Good service and friendly staff. Facility is well kept. Highly recommend to stay here. Only thing was it was very cold in the breakfast area but that was minimal...

This is a great hotel for short stays in the city. I like the feel of it, it doesn't feel too contrived as a lot of modern style hotels do. The rooms are very small but they're nice, and in New York City you probably shouldn't be spending a ton of time in your room anyway so the size isn't really an issue. Located well with good access to the 6 as the station is very close by.
Oops, I stayed at Pod-39 Times Square, not this Pod. However, I'm sure they are very similar and Pod Times Square is awesome! Following are my comments concerning Pod 39 Times Square. Great, very clean, budget hotel and 5-minute walk to Times Square! Staff was very friendly--just awesome! Very small clean room, so if all you really want is a modern/clean place to sleep in an awesome location at a very...
Pretty good bang for your buck, considering the location. I think it was around $100/night during January? The pod is modern and sleek, intended the maximize the tiny space. With us spending most of the day out exploring, all I need is a hot shower and a bed to crash on. Be aware that the shower is a clear glass box, with a wide strip of frosted glass where your body would be.
I selected this hotel as a way to save money on a recent trip to NYC. I was very excited about booking a bunk room for me and my stepdaughter. When we arrived, I was told that there weren't anymore bunk rooms available. The front desk agent handled the situation with good customer service. While the room is absolutely no frills, the stay was enjoyable and offered a good place to sleep at night. I very...
This is a great budget hotel, located in the heart of Manhattan. Just a few steps away from Grand Central Terminal, you can easily get to any part of the city you wish to explore in a matter of minutes using the city's extensive subway network. The rooms are small (but it's a budget hotel) and spartan, but you cannot beat the price and the location. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you want to...
The rooms are ok (small but is part of the brand), you only would like to go to sleep and nothing else. The real problem are the bathroom doors, you can hear, see and smell everything from the bed...

Very close to Newport Path Station, direct to Manhattan Spacious room Jacuzzi and Pool felt very nice in December !
We just spent 4 nights here and overall great stay. The hotel is on a nice road with some good local restaurants nearby. The path station is right next door. Hotel was quiet, beds comfy, AC worked, room was spotless and clean and maid service was good. The style of hotel is typical of this star of hotel. The lounge area was lovely and had a great relaxing feel with a fire. Staff were always nice and...
It was okay. The staff was helpful. When I first walked in our bathroom there were black hairs in the bathtub. Other than that the room and hotel were pretty clean. We paid $30.00 more a night to get a NYC view. That was a joke. The buildings blocked our view. The location is the best thing. Right next to the path to go into NYC and across the street is the mall with tons of food and shopping options...
Very nice, room was clean and staff was helpful. Parking garage basically connected to the hotel, with in/out privileges. Lots of shopping and food within walking distance, and i mean like a mall right across the street. The traffic is pretty heavy near the tunnel tho so plan extra travel time when staying and commuting.
Clean and relatively new hotel. Stayed here for two nights. The location is awesome. It has a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. The path station is right by the building. The neighborhood also feels extremely safe. Can’t be a better option for staying when visiting nyc. The only down side is that the Path train only runs till 11:30pm, so had to come back before then. Not the hotel’s fault though
Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel has an adjacent parking garage with affordable parking and plenty of space. The check in went smooth and the staff was fantastic. Special shout out to Rose who did an excellent job helping us. Our room was very spacious and had a nice little fridge. It was clean and also had a nice little balcony. The hotel pool was nice as well for the kid...

The team and management was amazing! I had an issue with the flight which was postponed more than 30 hours! I contacted the hotel and they agreed to charge me for the lost first night because of the delay. Again THANK YOU! The hotel is great in one of the best locations.
Very nice hotel. The room was a little small, but the staff of the hotel was absolutely wonderful. We only used the room for some sleep and getting ready which met all of our needs. You are only a small walk from Times Square too. Would recommend this hotel.
We just stayed at the Best Western in NYC. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Jackie and Rachel employees at the reception were very attentive to our needs. We appreciated their professionalism. The hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast very good. I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was great! It was close enough to Times Square, the Library, and the Empire State Building that I could get to any of them quickly and easily, but far enough away to be kind of quiet. The room was dead silent the whole time, even though they provided complimentary ear plugs anyways that I did not end up using. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was very helpful and personable...
This hotel is nicely situated in the mid-town area, very near the subway, and on a convenient line. The staff are exceptional, having taken care of our every need during the week we stayed. They sought to make our stay as comfortable as possible - even when the a/c broke, they moved us to the room next door, and followed up to ensure we were well, that the new room was woking and that we were happy...
Very nice hotel with easy access to both Midtown/Times Square and Downtown. Rooms have a nice view of either the Empire State Building or Bank of America Tower. The room was a decent size for a Manhattan hotel. The bed is a bit close to the window, but otherwise there's a good amount of space for bags and the bathroom is a good size. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I'm planning to make this...

Probably a typical NYC hotel The staff has always been nice. We've stayed there several times since it's very close to the Javits Center. The rooms are dated but clean. Don't expect a big room. They're pretty tiny. We just need a place to snooze, so for us it works great. No issues with reserving through a discount app. Parking nearby is expensive, but it's NYC. They have a small breakfast nook...
after we reserved a room in this hotel, i was having second thoughts but my thoughts vanished after we entered the hotel. it was very cozy and our room was clean and nice. location is pretty good too and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. i would recommend this hotel to people who don’t care too much about 5 star amenities.
I went to NYC to attend a Javits show (in 2013) and stayed at the Quality Inn and was glad I did. Lisa and Omar at the front desk were great and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and professional and do a great job. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable and I slept like a baby. I skipped breakfast each day but I did help myself to coffee downstairs in the mornings and...

This hotel is tucked in between some very busy streets of Manhattan, but with much less of the noise of being right on those streets. Proximity to the Pennsylvania station (NYC) and the 33rd Path station make it an ideal location for travels to Newark Airport (EWR) or to New Jersey. ~15 min walk to Time Square. The room (king size bed) was clean and decently sized (for the city). The towels and toiletries...
For price and convenience, you can't beat it. Although the rooms are rather small, it worked out fine for my friend and me. You are just steps away from Pennsylvania Station and lots of subway lines. Breakfast every morning (included) was well-balanced and something for everyone...eggs, omelettes, sausage, cereals, yogurt, waffle machine, fruit, breads and muffins, jams, peanut butter, etc. But if...
Very happy with our stay here. The hotel is very basic but the location is very good. Breakfast is basic but fills you. There are warm drinks to take to the room or out on your walk throughout the whole day and evening. Elevators are sometimes crowded so don't be in a rush. Rooms are small but totally ok, we stayed 2 grown-ups and 2 teenagers. If you have big suitcases it will be crowded, we only...
I picked my mother and her friend up at this hotel and I cant say how happy we all were with their stay! The two women working the desk (Joanna and another one) were SO FRIENDLY. They took incredible care of them and even brought out cookies, it was amazing. Also let them keep their bags there while we went out for the day! They went above and beyond in their costumer service- definitely recommend...
Overall this was a very nice stay. The staff is polite and helpful. The room we stayed in was very small, but comfortable and suited our needs. No frills and the price was reasonable. Would definitely stay again if the price was right.
Very nice, if basic hotel. Staff were excellent. Check-in was fast and efficient. We had a nice room which was clean and well kept. A basic but adequate breakfast was provided in with the price as well as hot drinks throughout the day. The hotel is a short walk from Madison Square Garden, Macy's and the Manhattan Mall. Great free breakfast that the kids loved. Super friendly staff. New hotel, clean, excellent location just 2 blocks from the 6 train. While the room was on the smaller side, the bed was a king and we were very comfortable. Rooms are generally small in NYC and this was the norm. I will definitely stay here again.
The staff was always available and nice . They attend all our requests .
Rooms are a bit cozy, not unexpected though. Good location, easy for us to get the places we had planned. Only complaint is that the walls are paper thin, so your experience may depend a lot on your neighbors. Our neighbors were incredibly loud and their only apparent activity was chiefly between the hours of 12am and 230am, with a tenor voice so bold that it may suit well for dramatic productions...
Four of us stayed at this hotel for a week in September 2022. We felt comfortable overall, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the location near Flat Iron/Madison Square Park was ideal for excursions on foot or by public transportation. The rooms are clean and modern, but small - but I guess that's standard in NYC. The bathroom lacks hooks to hang and dry towels for 4 people. Also a shame that...
Mixed feelings. I can see why it's not higher. I am a Marriott loyalist, for maybe 30 years. Pros: it is quiet neighborhood, walkable etc. Newer hotel. Clean. Cons: small, painfully small if you are expecting to traditional Springhill Suites room in terms of size, this is not it. There was a lot of maneuvers to try to make it comfortable for 3 people. It has one of those tiny sinks and showers. Functional...
My wife and I stayed there from 7/28/22 to 8/1/22. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and we liked the location. The breakfast was OK, but there was a decent selection and some hot choices. The room is very small and I'm pretty sure it was a Queen size bed, unless King beds in NYC are smaller. The bathroom had a barn-style door, which is probably less than ideal in such a small room,...

Nice little hotel. We were firstly given a wrong room number and when we entered there was a half-naked man which was a not so comfortable experience. We mentioned it to the lady at the front desk but she didn't react except from a quick apology as if its super ordinary thing to happen (never occured to me!). So we were given another room. But then everything was fine. I liked the complimentary...
We stayed at Best Western Premier Empire State Hotel earlier this month. The hotel is new (it opened in August 2021). Each floor just has six rooms. The rooms are efficient (typical of Manhattan NY hotel in size) and have all the basic needed amenities. We had booked two rooms. Our rooms were clean and functional. This is a decent hotel but some things bothered me. Pros: - We arrived early and they let us check in early because there was a room available. - Rooms are quiet and clean. Cons: - The phone in our room didn't work so we had to go downstairs to talk to front desk. - I requested fresh towels on our last day and was told that they would send it up to the room but never received them. - I left behind...
My boyfriend and I came and stayed for a week total. The staff was always super friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and up to date, and it is a great price for such a great, central location. This hotel was a HUGE disappointment. The staff is rude, not really willing to help the clients and the rooms are far from good. Unfortunately is a perfectly-located place with a terrible service.
Great for the price! Check in was abysmally slow, but other than that service was good. Beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky. Bathroom was very basic and the tub had no drain stopper and was peeling. But it served my purpose well. All I wanted was an inexpensive and clean place to sleep and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.

Clean room and good service. For me it is pleasant place (many cafes and bistros)
Amazing location, friendly staff, easy access with the code. The only thing I did not like was the shower: very small, and the curtains were not set well - the water would just go all over the bathroom floor..
Loved it!! Stayed one night alone and one night with a friend. Great location, helpful staff (brought my luggage up ) and clean accommodation. It's affordable, in walking distance of SoHo and other places + trams, and it's right next to the cutest coffee place called the bean. Quaint, Cute, Clean and in the middle of it all! Easy check In & out. All done via phone. (only so-so part. ..the shower was questionable)
This place is a NYC apartment if it were a hotel. Don't stay here if you want fluff. Do stay here if you want to be a NYer for a bit. Amazing location, decent digs for two. You may see a roach, but not likely. Great place to be left alone and enjoy the area. Signed, a native NYCer

It was clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was good and had lots of options. But the star of this stay was undoubtedly Suky at the front desk. She was so sweet to us. We got stuck in NYC due to the interrupted flights after our honeymoon and couldn’t get home for a few days. We were jet lagged and exhausted. She was so helpful and made everything so easy for us so we could rest. She deserves a...
Everything was fine except of a very rude night shift lady at the front desk, who was rolling up eyes, speaking at loudspeaker with some person all the time when we tried to check in and was also rude when i went down trying to find out where i can get some water at around 2:30 am throwing into me "you just have to ask me first..." What? You'd better to train some of your personal on the hospitality...
Location, location, location (one block from subway, 34th street stores, walking distance to Times Sq., Madison Sq Garden, Port Authority, etc) = all a few blocks.... but most important: an excellent breakfast, lots to choose from!!! Nice and helpful staff. Rooms not too big but I only sleep at the hotel, so no problem for me. Nice mattress, excellent pillows and great shower. Will return!! Only issue...
We stayed here for 5 nights and the best of the hotel is the location. The rooms are decently sized. The staff were friendly except the on duty manager. But my overall experience was good and I would recommend this place if...
Comfy room , clean and nice for fair price... Haven't tried breakfast (had other plans) but it looked good and was complementary, so overall great place to stay at midtown due to good value for money , cleaneness and great location. Oh and the staff were very nice either.

If you are not interested in spending thousands of dollars and plan on spending every day outside exploring the city then this is phenomenal. Clean, small and compact. My husband and I stayed here while we were on our weekend getaway, and really enjoyed it. It was perfect for what we needed. I'm in-between "it's ok" and " liked it" The pros: it was close to where we wanted to be, priced fairly. The bathroom was bigger then we expected which was nice. Room was small but it was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were very friendly. Only problems I had was that the toilet didn't flush one day (it was quickly resolved) and the elevators take forever to get to your floor. Decent sized room, very friendly staff, easy to find and get to. Was able to relax without paying a fortune.
Location was good. Staff was good. Rooms were nice and clean. The only downside was the room being the smallest hotel room I've ever seen! Maybe 2 feet of walking space along the perimeter of the bed. That being said, everything else was great!
For my needs, I give it 4 stars. It was purely a room so my friends and I don’t need to drive back. Loved this hotel. Staff was amazing. Room was a little small but its Manhattan, and space is at a premium so I was not surprised or disappointed. Room was very nicely furnished. The view from the room was amazing. Will without a doubt stay here again! Excellent location!
It was currently being renovated, but service is very nice and the rooms are also very good. Plus you get a great view from the breakfast buffet. I was very happy with my room. Bathroom was clean, bed was very comfortable. There was a problem with the remote control of the television, which was fixed within a few minutes.
Room was small as expected but extremely nice. Probably the biggest flat screen I've seen in a hotel. Also offered internet streaming on the TV ( had to use your own account though). Bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. Loses a star because the valet is $60 for 24 hours. Which isn't horrible but there is no in and out allowed and you are told to request the car 45-60 minutes before departure

The bell man stored our bags because we arrived before our check in time and we wanted to get busy sightseeing. Try the hot chocolate at the hotel. You won't regret it.
Reaaly enjoy this place. Very welcome staff and great rooms, price is perfect. Also, there is a bar in the hotel on roof with view on Empire State Building. It is not a fashionable bar, but very cozy with friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! You honestly can't get a better location for a first time trip to Manhattan. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The room was nice. The rooftop bar was sort of cool, and has a great view of the Empire State building. The large Herald Square subway station is right outside the door. The free breakfast is pretty good, but not the best (no waffle maker...
Super convenient location in the small Korean district, directly behind Empire State building (same block). Subway access half block away. Manhattan mall 1 block away. Hotel is clean and well equipped. Breakfast buffet provides the basics for a simple cold breakfast though no hot foods. 15-20 min walk to Times square and start of Broadway theaters. 25 min walk to nice Union square Holiday market. ...
I was very surprised! The room was we got was a decent size. Very clean room and bathroom. View out the window was bricks but it's New York right! Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast did not have the usual eggs and sausage...only carb related items, fruit, and yogurt. The dining area was really packed. We just left and ate at a nice diner called Andrews Coffee Shop 463 7th Ave. Best...

On arrival, we had to leave the car in the street for check-in since there is no drop-off zone. We opted for valet parking which was only 5 dollars more a night but the process was complicated with the valet rudely telling us we had to go get a ticket if we...
