Loved being able to stay here for a cheap price thanks to online hotel deal😍😍😍 It was around end of 2016 or beginning 2017(I think 2017 is more like it) i got nice deal for like $30 to $35 not bad even at that time and even though the room had no view it was just amazing being in there💯💯💯 So sad the governor wanted them to take it down because this was such a lovely place and only needed some fixing...

Check in took almost an hour waiting in line with luggage. But was able to check in and out a bit early/late. The room is basic, okay for one night and spacious but filthy carpet, kept shoes on, a very motel feel. I'm a native New Yorker and I love to visit the bars at this hotel. They each have a different feel. My favorite is the Library bar with fire place and leather couches. Just a short walk to The Central Park where you can take a very refreshing morning walk and walkable to Times Square as well for a nice evening view of the lights and sounds! Very nice. We have been to much nicer Homewood Suites though. I think they do the best with what they have to work with. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are a bit small. I had never thought to stay at a Homewood Suites Hotel until my cousin booked the one located at 312 37th St. Manhattan, NY. This is a very nice hotel. You know what you are getting with the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was great. The room was good. All in all, the only negative I could list, and it is small, is that for midtown, the rooms could be soundproofed better. I've been in other hotels where you hear nothing. The room was quite nice. The queen bed mattress was extremely comfortable and the amenities were so much nicer than other hotels I stayed in NYC. Will definitely stay here again!!! The breakfast on the go section needs to be attended to in a more proper and organized manner... was extreme chaos and out of control. very nice and organized. couldn't be happier with my stay. no issues

I was staying in Aloft hotels in lots of cities, this one the most expensive. Overall my stay was pretty good, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like, is coffee machine was broken , as soon as I poured water in there, it started leaking. I was checking out at this time, so didn’t call the reception. Great price for the location. Downtown Brooklyn near several train stations make getting around the city a breeze. Rooms are super small - like a matchbox, but again, location makes it all worth it. Hotel appears to be a "party" hotel so you will hear people and there is a lot of foot traffic. We arrived after a long time spent in the back of a taxi and instantly made to feel welcome by the staff at reception. The roof top restaurant is well set out and heated so you can eat in comfy warm surroundings no matter what the weather is like. The room has a huge comfy bed and all the room facilities are kept in great condition. The complementary coffee/tea is perfect to have while you get ready...

The surroundings are fairly quiet, despite nearby construction. The bed is quite comfortable. The blinds block out a very large amount of light, which is good. The staff, both cleaning and lobby, are friendly. The price was reasonable. Some potential improvements: would like actual drawers for clothing. Shower water pressure leaves something to be desired. Temperature control in the room could be improved...

Great and supportive staff. Check-in was super fast and they upgraded us to a suite because we were with our 2 1/2 year old. Location can’t be beat. Easy walk to Madison square park, union square, Rockefeller and all of the roof top bars in that area. Only complaint is that the room was dark. The hotel itself is quirky. I was extremely happy with my stay at the Wolcott! The staff was super friendly to me and any of my friends that came to meet me there. They were also very helpful anytime I needed them. The accommodations were actually much nicer than what I expected from reading all the other reviews. Everything was super clean, renovated and nice. The lobby is beautiful and the free breakfast muffins were delicious...

It's a great location hotel. Clean. Spacious enough. Rare gem with 3 twin beds for 3 people. Super small bathroom. Great price. Front desk was not friendly.

Darling old time feel in midtown. Charming & enchanting. Cozy. A hit spot for Europeans traveling to the city - feels like a European getaway in NYC. Close to the subways and the empire State building. Everything you need is a convenient walk away.

Staff was great. Rooms were surprisingly big. Architecture was beautiful. I'm surprised this place doesn't have higher prices. I also don't see how someone could rate them below a 4 star review. Definitely staying there again.

This hotel is great for location and the bed is super comfy! The fact that they can hold your luggage for you whilst you explore on your last day is also a great bonus! The staff were super friendly and helped us greatly with luggage. The room was so clean and the shower room was also great for disabled access. I don't understand why everyone was complaining about the lift as sure it is a little slow...
