Helpful and polite even when things were busy and buzzing
PRO: Location! Lots of hotels advertise that they are "steps from Times Square, " but this hotel literally is. PRO: Rooms are a good size by Times Square standards. PRO: Hotel is big with quick, glass-view elevators
Perfect hotel for a perfect getaway. Everything is within walking distance. I am a regular visiting NYC for both business and leisure. When I am here with family, we live staying at the Marquis
I was very pleased with our stay at Time Square Marriott Marquis. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we had an excellent view from our room. The staff was friendly and very accommodating
The rooms are spacious unlike several other hotels in this prime location — I’ve stayed in those as well. Yes, it’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for
We are right around the corner of the center of Time Square. Also, right across the street from the best chocolate shakes and best cheese cake ever

Great for the price! Check in was abysmally slow, but other than that service was good. Beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky. Bathroom was very basic and the tub had no drain stopper and was peeling
But it served my purpose well. All I wanted was an inexpensive and clean place to sleep and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel
This hotel was a HUGE disappointment. The staff is rude, not really willing to help the clients and the rooms are far from good. Unfortunately is a perfectly-located place with a terrible service.

Great hotel, location is close to everything in midtown, we walked everywhere. I need to mention 'Robert E' and his team at Herb n' Kitchen. Nothing was ever a problem, they were always really friendly and helpful
This was a lovely hotel. Location was ideal for us, rooms were very clean and staff were friendly. It also included breakfast which was an added bonus. We went in may and it wasn’t too busy.
Very busy at reception at times,so maybe another employee or two to deal with check in/check out. Very clean room and all the staff are very friendly and lovely. However 2 employees made my time great here
We had the American Buffet breakfast every morning, fresh waffles cooked to order by the chef. I'd recommend the breakfast as it sets you up for the day. Great staff throughout the hotel
Robert E is calmness personified and also very professional when dealing with everyone waiting for a table for breakfast and also Warren our server for breakfast
Both are a credit to the hotel and i would like to nominate them for special recognition for being so good at their jobs

Check-in was quick and friendly, as was check-out. Bell boys were helpful obtaining taxi services. Staff support for meeting lunches were clean and helpful. All around, fantastic support
Will definitely stay here again! The location was literally a 13 minute walk to Times Square and a close walk to the famous Joes pizza!! The rooms were clean every day which was a plus
Luckily, they have an evening crew that will come clean if you call front desk. And the towels might come with old blood stains
I like that they have security in the front to make sure that every one has a key card which made me feel safe. And thank you for mentioning the hotel fee deposit per day when checking in
The Hyatt has a beautiful lobby and an excellent location. Has some nice amenities but the rooms are lacking. They have dated bathrooms and are small with no good views
We came over to the Hyatt Grand Central shortly after we checked in to our original hotel wanting to see if the rooms matched their pictures (The first hotel did not) The front desk was wonderful and allowed us to go up and look at 2 rooms to make sure they fit what we wanted

Wonderful location, close to all amenities and restaurants. The hotel itself is tired and not well kept. We entered the elevator upon arrival to find a dirty towel and wrappers on the floor
Check at the concierges desk there are a lot of free services which include a cruise and visit to one world tower. Also there are laundry and food credits included that you can use in the hotel
Located in Times square, but it's still fairly quiet and rooms are good size. I had a premium view of the Hudson and the rooms were very clean and well serviced
We found out a few days into our visit and were able to use some of these. Enjoyed our stay and will come back again when in town
The lobby is nice to hangout in and the restaurant has some great drinks. We had some smokey old fashioneds
This hotel is in a prime location and it's so easy to walk to a lot of fantastic tourist spots in Manhattan. You are just a block from time square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

I wanted to splurge on a nice hotel close to Grand Central Station, and this is where I landed. The staff provided excellent service, but I should make note that you cannot just walk in and book a room
The location was great, because I did not want to walk for miles to find a nice hotel and this one was well-situated. There were a number of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, as well
I had reservations about the size of the room, given the comments about NY hotel rooms, but it was a pleasant surprise that ours was a very well appointed one on a high floor with a view of the Chrysler building
I checked out yesterday and I’m already ready to go back!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Westin Grand Central. The location was conveniently central for transportation, dining, and shopping
The concierge was super helpful and delightful to speak with, and the staff were LGBTQ+ friendly (many of them even wearing rainbow pins on their uniforms/suits)
My view was of the building across the street, so nothing exciting, but typical of midtown hotels. I did enjoy a complimentary breakfast, which was outstanding

Outside is blank, a brown wall. Escalator takes you up to an ultra modern spacious lobby with subdued lighting and cozy spaces. Room was larger than expected, bed extraordinarily comfortable
Wouldn't reccomend anything over two or three nights as again room is small but who comes to NYC to stay in there room ? Overall it was a nice hotel and did just the job
Some guests might not be thrilled by the zero privacy bathroom, if you're sitting on the toilet you are on full display to any other guests in your room because of the giant glass wall, but I was alone so no big deal
Extra facilities fee when checking out for the gym we never used which they then waived. Room was small but then again your in Manhattan and get what you pay for
Loved the location, the quirky design
This hotel was an interesting experience. My room was fine, though extremely small, even by Manhattan standards. There was a quirky window that looked from the shower into the room and there was minimal lightning

This hotel is extremely busy but this is a great location, close to food, trains, and everything you need. In particular I wanted to compliment Freddy at the front desk. The best customer service ever
Very clean, modern and comfortable. TV has nice selection of channels. Right in the heart of the theater district, in fact Chicago is playing right across the street. Walking distance to Times Square and so much more
He answered all my questions and was even able to make several great suggestions. His knowledge about the area and his kindness goes a long way. I will definitely be back because of him
It was also very modern and updated, with interesting decor. My biggest issue with it is it's a pain to get from the street level up to your floor if you have a stroller or wheelchair
I thought my stay at the hotel was awesome. They upgraded my room to one with a view of Times Square and it did not disappoint. Also, the layout of the room was very interesting
I accidentally left my coat in the hotel room closet and they were able to find it and send it to me back home in Chicago. They were amazingly helpful and I am very grateful

Wonderful location. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Safe area. Near 2 subway station with easy access to Manhattan. Service is great and the bar has a nice happy hour.
Nice hotel but we were unaware of the $25/day mandatory fee they charge you per day you stay. You get a $25 credit toward the restaurant in the hotel
Great work guys! The hotel is a little noisy for those of us not use to the city noise but they have YouTube available on the televisions and I was able to find an 11 hour white noise video on there and it helped immensely
Bottom Line, best overall Hotel I have stayed in NYC that is NOT $500+ a night. Rooms are spacious, very well kept. Great bar in the Hotel + a strip of really good neighborhood restaurants are an easy walk away
I slept like a baby after that. My only complaint was that one front desk agent seemed bothered when I approached her with questions and she never followed up with me on what my problem was
This is a great hotel with friendly staff. Abbas in the lobby bar, and the housekeeper on the 18th floor went out of there way to recognize me every day I was there

Decent location about midway between 2 subway stations, as well as walking distance from Times Square (for those who bring comfortable shoes!) The rooms are clean and very comfortable
My favorite hotel and favorite location in Manhattan! Close to everything. Amazing staff. Kind and clean. Large rooms every time I go. A tub and shower combo. Perfect!
We were happy to wait a little extra time for the second room. Oscar was extremely generous and helpful throughout our entire stay and every staff member we encountered couldn’t have been more helpful or polite
LOCATION LOCATION! It was walking distance to everything Time Square area - Grand Central station was a quick 5 minute walk for when we wanted to explore different areas of New York! The staff was so friendly and so accommodating! We were in town celebrating a 30th birthday and they put a bottle of wine AND chocolate covered strawberries in the room for us
I couldn't say better things about this place. I am VERY picky when it comes to hotels and staying somewhere clean - and this place exceeded my expectations! Not only was the room very clean but it had two bathrooms
Best place ever to stay! Rooms are clean and the design in the rooms are really neat. Cathrine,Sly,Manny,Jose,Juan and Derrick will take great care of you. We will stay here again when we come back next year!

The room smelled clean, was spacious and was equipped with all the necessities. We had ample towels, robes, slippers, a Nespresso, and complimentary bottles of water
My family stayed here for marathon weekend. We had two rooms that connected. The rooms were a nice size for NYC, clean and comfortable. We even had a view of Central Park even though I booked their basic room
The only cons: room had a musty smell and if you tell a 10 yr old you are going to send her something for her birthday, follow through! She was super excited when the front desk said they wanted to celebrate her birthday at check in and then super disappointed when they never followed through
We dined at the Burger Joint hidden behind a red curtain just past the lobby. A no frills solid burger joint. We mostly dined out but did enjoy a night in with room service on our last day
Room service was promptly delivered. Throughout our stay, the staff from front desk, concierge, and room service were all extremely courteous, helpful, and professional
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future

Rooms with park view are stunning with their lovely cosy niche sofa by the large window and the glass shower - can see the park from everywhere in the room (curtains available)
We absolutely love working here! We frequently do hair and makeup for guests staying at this wonderful hotel, and every experience is fantastic
Can see Central Park from the room, very quiet, large comfortable bed, excellent location with all amenities close by and Central Park a few meters away, great for exercising in the morning, 2 cleaners stores across the road to wash clothes, plus supermarket and many cafes and restaurants within 100 meters of the hotel
Review of One Hotel Central Park
One Hotel Central Park is a fantastic spot that mixes luxury with a laid-back vibe. The rooms are bright and spacious, with awesome views and eco-friendly touches
Reasonably priced for New York. Free endless filtered water in the rooms and free apples at reception. The television has many channels available. The hotel has a personal boutique feel and a friendly atmosphere
Staffed by gracious and casually elegant employees, it almost feels too cool for its own good until you realize it’s all genuine and you feel right at home in this sleek but homey treehouse planted in midtown

Everything was shiny and fresh towels
I had a pleasant experience at Wellington. The staff was nice and friendly, the check in took around 15 minutes. The room was pretty small but cozy and very clean, the bathroom as well
We were extremely happy with the deluxe double double room, and even had 2 bathrooms, which made getting ready in the morning very easy! Would definitely stay here again!
Clean rooms and helpful staff. We checked in on Friday night and requested rooms on the same floor. The elevators were slow and one got shut down during our stay
Rates were fantastic for Thanksgiving! We were close to the parade route and were able to check our bags during the parade, and while site seeing during the day
If you like super modern or chain hotels this may not be your kind of place. We loved it! The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and nice towels

New York Marriott East Side

Recently stayed for six nights at the New York Marriott East Side with a girlfriend. The room was equipped with two queen beds with lovely soft pillows. It was very clean, and they left us in private as requested
If you are near the bottom of these 2 ranges you'll struggle to get a lift at busy times. Either make sure you're on the top 3 floors or 14-16. If they're full you're best getting a low flow and using the stairs!
Neat hotel, conveniently located. Breakfast buffet was a good value. Free coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon at the lobby was a nice touch. Our room had a small kitchenette which was useful
We booked here for a stay in January via Expedia and got a great price. The location is great for Times Square since we were there to see a show. The rooms are decent and served our needs
Conveniently located for tourists. Subway and grand central nearby. Rooms are a little tired and as is usual for NYC the soundproofing from the street could be better
Check in went smoothly and quickly. Rooms were clean...a little dated but clean. Free breakfast was nice (elite members lounge). I would recommend this hotel.

InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel, an IHG Hotel
New York, 111 East 48th Street 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
Stayed at Barclay during a weekend visit to Manhattan. Convenient location in midtown. I personally love to walk around in Manhattan so this hotel was in a nice central location. Room and accommodations were great
Got a high floor corner room upgrade as a IHG medallion member. While I didn't go to it, the hotel is well known for its Gin bar in the ground level. Rooms are pricey but not over the top
However, they were placed neatly on of the beds when we returned 6 hours later. All in all, we had a satisfactory experience but none of us were blown away by it
Good location. Clean rooms, attentive staff. There is a restaurant - the prices are not critical, but above the average level of restaurants of this class.
Tip: if for some reason you're driving a few blocks east of the hotel on 48th is a reasonably priced icon, I dropped my rental car to the location when coming into town and noticed the parking rates there were about $40 cheaper than hotel
I was there for the Intelligence Squared US/Adam Smith Society - Bitcoin debate. The hotel lobby is vast yet elegant. The event space upstairs is clean and elegant. The hotel staff was polite, professional and prompt.

Check-in and check-out fees($75+$54 for me). Overpriced services/food as usual. Rooms well equipped with ironing equipment, hair dryer and safe. Averse to bright white lighting, strict dull yellow lighting everywhere!

Millennium Downtown New York
New York, 55 Church Street 🧭 Map

It was on the other side of the building and the view was kind of crappy. The side facing the 9/11 memorial is the better side
Nice hotel with great location at the Southern tip of Manhattan. Directly across the street from Ground Zero, you are in a prime tourist location with plenty to do and see within walking distance
I really liked the king room with the city view. I definitely would stay here again and the price was great! I also had a second room too as we had a big group. The second room is a city view but a double bed
The luggage helper came to me first watching me waiting for the concierge who do not care my heavy bags. Room was spacious, clean with stunning view. King size bed was super comfortable as well
My only grip about the hotel is regarding the prices for food and drinks. A bit on the outrageous side, but with a little exploring, you can find plenty of reasonably-priced alternatives
Staff could be a little more welcoming at the front desk and acknowledge you when you come in. if someone notices you when you come in the front door and says "Welcome to the hotel!"

After reading the reviews before going I was worried about this hotel. Once I arrived all my fears were put to rest. I must say I had an amazing experience from check in to check out
Well located, but the room is small, no refrigerator, but it has a safe. It was weird that they only offered a shampoo/conditioner in one product - I had to go buy my own
work always put me in this hotel for the business trip. considerably more spacious than same price hotels. but if you're taking shower at busy time, you will only get warm water
I didn't have a great view, but I'm sure there are some wonderful ones available. Otherwise, the food is delicious
The rooms are pretty okay, I've had much better places in the same locality and similar prices. I stayed in the Wonderful room which was just about okay. The safe wasn't working and they took forever to get it repaired
The staff is rude as hell so talking to anyone here is pointless. Check-in took about forever because there was one person working and three watching and commenting on her work. No sense of customer service at all

This is a review of the Head of Security on site in the early evening on December 27, 2024 at the Loews Regency in NYC. This individual was mature, intelligent, capable, reasonable, and overall excellent at his position
He had presence but also could read the room, so to speak, and immediately size up the situation at hand and act accordingly. IMO, he should be running this property
Beds and pillows very comfortable. Food is great at grill and access to Saint Ambrose is great. We have been staying here over 30 years. We were welcomed with fresh fruit , water and ice when we arrived to our room
wonderful experience at the Loews! from the bellmen on arrival to check in to the salon to the champagne happy hour we felt pampered here! perfect location and amazingly kind and welcoming staff
The entire experience from doorman, to front desk, to bellmen to entering your room are everything you would desire at this property. The rooms were fantastic as was the F&B

Great variety of options for whole family. Bell service were efficient and polite. Location was good, walking distance to everything midtown up to approx the Met. Subway close by for everything we did further out
Polite staff, they helped us deliver our luggage to the apartment. The room is very small but comfortable, good bed, bathroom behind glass. From the windows there is a stunning view, especially of the city at night
We broadcast via Skype to Russia a night NY hotel in the very center, in the morning you can have delicious coffee and buns in nearby cafes, Time Square is 100 meters away 👍But in January it was very cold in the hotel, we couldn’t turn on the heating, even our American didn’t figure out how do it🤷🏼♀️
The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast spread offered by the hotel, with an abundance of options to choose from. From fresh fruit to fluffy pancakes, there was something for everyone
Fantastic hotel for a city break. Staff were fantastic, both polite and friendly. Facilities were great. Reasonable prices for coffee / snacks. Lots of eating facilities around the area too.
The attentive staff ensured that every guest had a delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional amenities
