Although I read some negative reviews online about long elevator wait times and police car noise, I decided to give it a try because of the prime location. After comparing prices on trip

The elevator system was quite different for us. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed pillows. The proximity from our theater was perfect; right across the street

Very conveniently located, in the middle of all happening in New York. The hotel is very busy, the restaurants and lounge bar are nice. Rooms are pretty spacious too

I do not like the additional 40 USD per room per night that I need to pay at the hotel, but we can use it at a hotel bar and restaurant as room credits

Still a good choice, very usual Marriott hospitality, a choice that make sense if you're traveling for business and looking for convenience

But a bit "too busy" and might be hard if you want a bit of retreat and rest your mind from the busy daily schedule

Loved being able to stay here for a cheap price thanks to online hotel deal😍😍😍 It was around end of 2016 or beginning 2017(I think 2017 is more like it) i got nice deal for like $30 to $35 not bad even at that time and even though the room had no view it was just amazing being in there💯💯💯 So sad the governor wanted them to take it down because this was such a lovely place and only needed some fixing...

They also have stores within the hotel lobby for convenience. Check in took a total of 15 minutes on a friday night, desk staff was friendly. Extra toiletries were supplied when requested

Had a two night stay at this hotel was impressed aside from what the reviews say. Our room was spacious enough for 4 people, also cleanly. Housekeeping came by to ensure room was clean

Hotel is right in the middle of the city, walking distance to many things. We were able to grab breakfast right across the street (not the exaggerated block away)

A refrigerator would have been nice but all in all, our stay was wonderful. Its a wonder how far kind words and a nice demeanor get you

This was a lovely hotel. Location was ideal for us, rooms were very clean and staff were friendly. It also included breakfast which was an added bonus. We went in may and it wasn’t too busy.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the metro, we don't waste time on transport. The services are good, the breakfast is very qualitative. The price in partnership with British airways is definitely worth it

You are also entitled to a cumulative $25 credit for dry cleaning, be careful because at the end of the stay, the hotel billed us for dry cleaning. We let them know, and the refund was subsequently made

Location was perfect as it was located in the middle of Manhattan. Convenient to go anywhere really. Room was clean but not spotless. All in all, pretty satisfied but the price was high during my stay

Why don’t have toothpaste and toothbrush? It’s five stars hotel ? It’s very strange and don’t comfortable. You need add this items . Thanks for possibly to use cash deposit. It’s real thanks a lot .

A very nice hotel right in the middle of Manhattan, and one of the few where the relationship price/quality is pretty fair. I would say the best part is the service, the reception staff is wonderfully kind and attentive

We have chosen this hotel for one night stay as It was near to Penns Station where we can get to airport easily at Newark. It was a great location very near to subway.

However, I am pleased to say that when I returned from Boston, I was relieved I had chosen to spend the remainder of my NYC trip at Staypineapple! Given how competitive hotel services are, I appreciate that Staypineapple’s service standards were the complete opposite of THE NEW YORKER

Located in Times square, but it's still fairly quiet and rooms are good size. I had a premium view of the Hudson and the rooms were very clean and well serviced

For a hotel of this standard, such lapses are unacceptable. The manager did offer free breakfast for two as service recovery, which I appreciated. Still, coordination needs serious improvement

Check at the concierges desk there are a lot of free services which include a cruise and visit to one world tower. Also there are laundry and food credits included that you can use in the hotel

Outside is blank, a brown wall. Escalator takes you up to an ultra modern spacious lobby with subdued lighting and cozy spaces. Room was larger than expected, bed extraordinarily comfortable

Wouldn't reccomend anything over two or three nights as again room is small but who comes to NYC to stay in there room ? Overall it was a nice hotel and did just the job

Some guests might not be thrilled by the zero privacy bathroom, if you're sitting on the toilet you are on full display to any other guests in your room because of the giant glass wall, but I was alone so no big deal

Extra facilities fee when checking out for the gym we never used which they then waived. Room was small but then again your in Manhattan and get what you pay for

This hotel was an interesting experience. My room was fine, though extremely small, even by Manhattan standards. There was a quirky window that looked from the shower into the room and there was minimal lightning

The hotel is in a very good location. Alexandra was so nice that she gave us a complimentary breakfast and accommodated us even before our check in time. Although breakfast has a lack of food variety, it was good

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are decent sized with amenities. The restaurant onsite offers convenient options for food and drinks. Easy access to Grand Central and subway lines. Will stay again!

My family liked this hotel very much. We gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because we felt there was room for improvement in every area. The room and hotel was very clean but there were some stains on the bedding and towels

The hotel was on 42nd street but just a little too far from the main action. The hotel provided good services but we had to call multiple times for towels. Overall we’d still recommend the hotel very highly

This hotel is extremely busy but this is a great location, close to food, trains, and everything you need. In particular I wanted to compliment Freddy at the front desk. The best customer service ever

Very clean, modern and comfortable. TV has nice selection of channels. Right in the heart of the theater district, in fact Chicago is playing right across the street. Walking distance to Times Square and so much more

It was also very modern and updated, with interesting decor. My biggest issue with it is it's a pain to get from the street level up to your floor if you have a stroller or wheelchair

I accidentally left my coat in the hotel room closet and they were able to find it and send it to me back home in Chicago. They were amazingly helpful and I am very grateful

The door closes very slowly due to the automatic mechanism, and the bathroom felt unnecessarily large for my needs. That said, overall cleanliness and hospitality were excellent!

I had a pleasant experience at Wellington. The staff was nice and friendly, the check in took around 15 minutes. The room was pretty small but cozy and very clean, the bathroom as well

We were extremely happy with the deluxe double double room, and even had 2 bathrooms, which made getting ready in the morning very easy! Would definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms and helpful staff. We checked in on Friday night and requested rooms on the same floor. The elevators were slow and one got shut down during our stay

Rates were fantastic for Thanksgiving! We were close to the parade route and were able to check our bags during the parade, and while site seeing during the day

If you like super modern or chain hotels this may not be your kind of place. We loved it! The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and nice towels

Shannon who is my Birthday Twin ensured when I got back to the hotel after a day out in NY I was presented with a cupcake and sang Happy Birthday by the Front Desk staff. I cannot be more grateful and impressed

What’s not to love? Walking distance to anything you want. Norm’s pizza spot right outside. Walk to subway is well lit and easily accessible both locations by hotel. A nice walk to the Brooklyn Bridge

It's a very comfortable and spacious room. There are basically no shortcomings. The security service at the door is very good. You can't enter without a key card. It's a great experience.

Juneteenth Grove was pretty and kid friendly. They have someone to help with luggage if needed, check in was great, everyone nice, many rooms to choose from based on your needs

Recently stayed for six nights at the New York Marriott East Side with a girlfriend. The room was equipped with two queen beds with lovely soft pillows. It was very clean, and they left us in private as requested

If you are near the bottom of these 2 ranges you'll struggle to get a lift at busy times. Either make sure you're on the top 3 floors or 14-16. If they're full you're best getting a low flow and using the stairs!

Neat hotel, conveniently located. Breakfast buffet was a good value. Free coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon at the lobby was a nice touch. Our room had a small kitchenette which was useful

We booked here for a stay in January via Expedia and got a great price. The location is great for Times Square since we were there to see a show. The rooms are decent and served our needs

Conveniently located for tourists. Subway and grand central nearby. Rooms are a little tired and as is usual for NYC the soundproofing from the street could be better

Good location. Clean rooms, attentive staff. There is a restaurant - the prices are not critical, but above the average level of restaurants of this class.

So 1st you are charged $40 as City charged and in lieu of that the coupon of $30 for food given to you even if u stuck to your understanding $30 you would have paid more than $52 means extra $22 It gets more interesting when they tell you, that you cant use this $30 for breakfast

This hotel is in central location and all staffs, from doormen, concierge, frontdesk and cleaners-- all were excellent! We'll use this hotel again if we come back to NY

The location in Midtown is so convenient and the bar in the lobby (Stayton room) is fantastic. Without a doubt I’ll be staying there during my next trip to New York City

We just arrived for our annual trip. We stay at The Lexington very February. The rates are great this time of year. The staff is awesome! They treat us like family

The location is great. I've seen several Broadway musicals and walked to all of them.

Really clean and comfortable bed. Requested a quiet room and got a high floor so was very quiet. Bar was very good, open until 11pm each evening serving nice drinks

It's in a neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby and a great store for snacks and such. And there's a Starbucks in the lobby!

They recently did renovations on the rooms & i did not think these rooms could have gotten any better! I was in total AWE! The bathroom is LARGE & spacious. Each room has a mini fridge which I appreciate so much

There’s also a coffee machine with a wide variety of coffees, creamers, sweeteners & tea selections. I love the fact that you can TEXT if you need room services or assistance & not having to call

A bit too expensive for me. Shower was so weak. The window cannot protect outside noise especially traffic and construction noise even though i stayed at 24th floor.

work always put me in this hotel for the business trip. considerably more spacious than same price hotels. but if you're taking shower at busy time, you will only get warm water

Polite staff, they helped us deliver our luggage to the apartment. The room is very small but comfortable, good bed, bathroom behind glass. From the windows there is a stunning view, especially of the city at night

We broadcast via Skype to Russia a night NY hotel in the very center, in the morning you can have delicious coffee and buns in nearby cafes, Time Square is 100 meters away 👍But in January it was very cold in the hotel, we couldn’t turn on the heating, even our American didn’t figure out how do it🤷🏼‍♀️

Just a short walk to The Central Park where you can take a very refreshing morning walk and walkable to Times Square as well for a nice evening view of the lights and sounds! Overall good value for money! The rooms are larger than many other hotels that I have stayed in at Manhattan

Booked 3 different rooms and all 3 were great. Met the owner Joe at the bar, I believe that's the correct name. With the white curled mustache. the only con was the garage parking $45

The shampoo and conditioner we're great quality and the room space for our king suite was more than accommodating. Glad we decide to stay here, no issues
