The location is great, too — views of the Brooklyn Bridge, just across the street from the new Tin Building development, and quick access to the FDR Drive makes getting around Manhattan very quick and easy

My partner and I stayed here last week, and although the hotel is on the older side (refurbished), and the restaurant’s food was ok, I still give the experience a five star due to how kind they were

Although we didn’t get our room (as we’d expect being so early), Peter (I believe), did his very best to help us relax—trying to see if there was any upgrade available, opening the lounge to allow us to sit and get some coffee/tea, as well as telling us about the area

We ended up leaving our luggage there and exploring New York instead. Peter called us several times to let us know if a room was available and if it was to our liking or to wait for another one

We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday here. Everyone in the hotel & the restaurant were very friendly & provided great service, especially the gentleman at the desk overnight

What a service! I regret not being able to see him when we checked out. Overall, the service was great and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable

Be aware that they do not have rollaways for the rooms (fire code reasons), and that whether you get free WiFi or pay $10 per day will depend on who you happen to speak with at the desk (some people will give you the code, others will tell you to pay)

The rooms are pretty standard for any comfortable hotel anywhere in the US. They have a comfortable lobby with a restaurant and a breakfast/coffee shop (none of which I use)

Hotel was clean. Great location and workout facilities. Was a litte slow getting people checked in and out. Decent happy hour.

Nice hotel, nice girls at the reception. Asked for a room on the top floor, gave no problems. Clean. Recommend

Chinatown, Soho, Tribeca, and Little Italy are all easily walkable from the place

I moved right in and had relaxed while on my business trip. Room service is pricey but I expected that when in NYC. That said, the food was delivered promptly and was delicious. The staff were courteous and helpful

The hotel is nearly without service. No doorman, even to help carry the luggage, no room service to deliver any food, no refrigerator in the room even to put water for cold drinking, no coffee machine

Stayed a few nights here. Pretty small room but that's par for the course in this city, and it was very nicely appointed. Great view! Excellent service. I brought my cat and they were very accommodating. Will stay again.

We had a room on the 23rd floor and a corner room. Great view and very courteous staff. Room was cozy and love that we could open windows. Ate lunch there and it wasn't bad but don't see us going back

My A/C stopped working and they had it back in order while I was out at dinner. No complaints! I'd happily stay there again

We stayed for my birthday weekend and the hotel was perfect. We had a lovely brunch around the corner one day and in the hotel restaurant the other day. Service was extremely slow (considering they were not full)

Most comfortable bed EVER! The location is perfect for walking out the door and being able to experience the city. Highly recommend the restaurant for the same treatment and incredible food! Thank you for spoiling us!

From the time I pulled up someone was always there to help and I just asked about a bigger room just in case a cancellation or something and they did not say no, they said give me one second, then poof!!! Amazing, Spectacular, Beautiful

I can't think of a better place to stay for our first visit to NYC. The Mercer Hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and accommodating

From the initial reservation process, concierge, door greetings, check in, housekeeping, and during our visit, we couldn't not have been treated better! The rooms are very clean and well stocked with anything you may need

First trip to NYC and couldn't be happier with the service and amazing staff! They knew all the good places to visit and eat. Setup a private car for a few places further away and he was just as wonderful

Stayed at Hotel Hugo in late August. We were supposed stay for 3 nights but had to cut our trip short to 2 nights (due to a medical emergency). The front staff was extremely accommodating in adjusting our fees

Great hotel in a brilliant location. A lot of NFL NHL NBA teams use this hotel. International Soccer teams Argentina to name one and English premiership teams too most recently Newcastle United

Special shout out to Lorraine at the front desk and Ben the concierge. Her customer service was greatly appreciated and Ben pointed me to some cool spots that Jersey City has to offer

Perfectly located downtown so you can venture out on foot to find other food options/ activities

I only gave a 4 star review because the bed/pillows weren’t comfy at all. Otherwise everything else was 5 star. Breakfast was amazing and the pool/jacuzzi was perfect. The location is convenient to New York

We had a problem with one of the floor lamps called the reception desk and the customer service staff came in 10 minutes to fix the problem. Will definitely come back again!

Had an amazing stay with my mom at this hotel. Great location - close to the subway, Trader Joe's and many restaurants. The staff was very helpful and responsive

The downtown location was very nice. It's quieter than midtown and still has lots of nice cultural amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were large for NYC and in a beautiful building.

Great for the price! Check in was abysmally slow, but other than that service was good. Beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky. Bathroom was very basic and the tub had no drain stopper and was peeling

Even though I could spend hours on our balcony despite the cold, we were naturally on the move during the day. You cannot live more centrally in The Benjamin Hotel than in Midtown Manhattan

Very comfortable boutique hotel with a friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant attached has a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are nicely appointed, spacious enough and updated for a modern world.

Our favorite place to stay in NYC. The clean and finely appointed rooms have kitchenettes. It is quiet, yet close to everything. Service is superb and The National restaurant is excellent.

We had a great experience at The Benjamin! They were extremely accommodating to our family. My kids loved the special surprise they received in their room. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms in Midtown East. Try their complementary pillow menu. Service was prompt and the hotel was well maintained. No complaints.

There’s a sign in the elevator that coffee and tea are available at the front desk. Can I get a cup of coffee? “No, we don’t have coffee. We have coffee tablets and you make it in your room

Room was good for what we needed. Need to beef up the cleaning though. Phone in the room looked like bug was stuck in the ear piece. gross! The carpet could have used some shampooing

I get that post-COVID traveling is more of a challenge, but it would be nice for the hotel to inform you of the challenges ahead of time

This is by far the best hotel I stayed in! Last time in Manhattan I stayed at the Plaza and IMO this is much better. The hotel is a relatively small and quite that feals cozy and intimate while being clean and modern

Four Seasons is usually one of the top hotel chains around the world, so it might give people the sense that it's really for the wealthy rather the average traveller, but we spent a reasonable price through travel agents so we had an enjoyable stay

As an Executive Asst, I frequently book our Executives at this location whenever they are visiting NYC. They have a very helpful and friendly staff, always willing to accommodate changes in our schedules whenever needed

Just stayed at the fours seasons downtown with my two kids. everything was perfect! the staff was welcoming, the amenities were great, the food. They went out of their way to make the entire experience amazing

The room was large, new, clean, pretty, and most important - very practical. The service is exceptional! The staff truly go out of their way to help with any need (thanks Alex!)

Even a great smell in the hallway whole leaving the smell in the room natural :) The only downside was that the view from the room was mostly blocked by a nearby building

Decent location about midway between 2 subway stations, as well as walking distance from Times Square (for those who bring comfortable shoes!) The rooms are clean and very comfortable

LOCATION LOCATION! It was walking distance to everything Time Square area - Grand Central station was a quick 5 minute walk for when we wanted to explore different areas of New York! The staff was so friendly and so accommodating! We were in town celebrating a 30th birthday and they put a bottle of wine AND chocolate covered strawberries in the room for us

The best hotel in the center of time square. You can over look the time square from your hotel room

From the renaissance hotel R lounge you 360 degree view on the time square on the new year eve you can sit there view the ball drop from the top. The staff are friendly and the room is clean and the bed is comfortable

1st stay at a Renaissance hotel. Our location was Times Square in the middle of it all which is what we wanted. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace which has an amazing view. The room was very clean n up to date

Makes up for some minor issues. Last time the elevators in lobby broke, but the staff was quite friendly as they assisted us to service elevators. This has the best hotel bar; it overlooks all of times square

Everytime we come to NY, we stay here. It's close to EVERYTHING! The lounge area is spectacular, with views of all the happenings!! The rooms aren't that big but it's New York. However, they are clean and well kept

The mattress and bedding was very, I mean amazingly comfortable. The concierge was very helpful with everything we asked. Thanks Renaissance Times Square for making my daughter 12th Bday so much better

Clean and relatively new hotel. It has a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. The path station is right by the building. The neighborhood also feels extremely safe. Can’t be a better option for staying when visiting nyc

Courtyard Jersey City Newport offers a fantastic location, just steps from the PATH station for easy access to Manhattan. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for business or leisure travelers

I informed the GM and he had my room sprayed. One of the 2 elevators were out of service causing longer wait time. The location is great as well right on train line and center of city

Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel has an adjacent parking garage with affordable parking and plenty of space. The check in went smooth and the staff was fantastic

The Moxy is in a great location close to everything. They held all our bags until we were ready to leave without any issue. It was a great hotel experience and we have already spoke about when we will come back

The service felt a little cold and the room we had was sub-par for Hyatt standards, but I suspect that was because we booked through a third party site. The rest of the hotel was great and we would stay again

On weekdays from 5-6pm you can grab some complimentary wine and hang out with other guests. The location for this hotel is perfect. It's a short walk to subways and about 5 minute (or less) walk to the 9/11 memorial

There was also an app so you could order food to your hotel room. Between 5 - 6pm they have snacks and wine in the main lounge which was a nice touch. There is also an easy to use coffee machine downstairs

The room was just perfect for my stay. We also had a kitchen and 2 closets! We had more than enough room to store our clothes. The laundry room is on the 12th floor and super convenient

It had 2 washers and 2 dryers along with detergent and softener sheets free of charge. In the lobby you can find snacks like trail mix, m&m's, sunflower seeds, fruits, soda and coffee

When we checked in, the person checking us in was super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help us. I booked a suite on the 12th floor with a queen bed and small pull out twin bed

Our room was lovely and had a great view. The rooms were really big and spacious. The bed was super comfy! The TV had apps on there so you could watch netflix and Amazon prime

Quiet, low-key professionalism, very easy check-in each time we've gone, immaculate rooms/suites and bathrooms, awesome views of the streets of NY and the sky (we love the corner rooms), and it seems like they have a really nice signature scent wafting throughout the whole place
