The Westin New York at Times Square, New York1 / 50
9.6
New York, 270 West 43rd Street 🧭 Map
The only plus is that the lobby is well decorated and that it’s next to Times Square. The concierge and the service is absolutely horrendous. The service at the front desk and room service were incredibly rude, considering I’m paying a large price for numerous rooms. I will never be staying here again because of how rude, inconsiderate and ridiculously cheap the staff are here. Insane for the price...
Wonderful location, close to all amenities and restaurants. The hotel itself is tired and not well kept. We entered the elevator upon arrival to find a dirty towel and wrappers on the floor. Our room had a distinct urine smell so we complained and were moved to a much nicer room that was at least clean. The manager was apologetic and did try and make us feel comfortable. The new room was better but...
Located in Times square, but it's still fairly quiet and rooms are good size. I had a premium view of the Hudson and the rooms were very clean and well serviced. The lobby is nice to hangout in and the restaurant has some great drinks. We had some smokey old fashioneds. Check at the concierges desk there are a lot of free services which include a cruise and visit to one world tower. Also there are...
This hotel is in a prime location and it's so easy to walk to a lot of fantastic tourist spots in Manhattan. You are just a block from time square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Every request we had they took care of and were very accommodating. Security was taken seriously as well. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a rainfall shower...
I told a manager how impressed I was with how friendly everyone was at the hotel. The baggage guys at the front were kind, helpful and even though I tipped they weren’t friendly and helpful for a tip. It seemed like everyone just wanted us to have a wonderful stay. The front desk gal, East and friendly. Our fright was at 4am and we were very tired, she tried very hard to let us check in a bit early...
Great location. Easy access to the subway and all the restaurants of Hell's Kitchen. Rooms are nice. Beds are excellent. Reasonable price.

Beautiful property, with exquisite features in the Villard Mansion areas. Our room on the 9th floor was spotless, well equipped and had the most amazing view of the Cathedral. Only wish we had more time to stay there longer. The Bellman Matt was another highlight of our stay - supremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Michael on reception was also very helpful and attentive to our needs.
5-star hotel. But, I was expecting more. Like maybe a microwave, fridge on the room. And a little more space. Nice view overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. Great location.
This is an extremely prestigious hotel in the heart of the city. Stayed here for a friends wedding and was extremely impressed. My son was having a temper tantrum in the lobby when we arrived and a staff member appeared out of thin air and gave him a complimentary teddy bear which definitely helped. Their staff is absolutely extraordinary you can tell they are happy to work their and it shows in every...
What a Beautiful hotel. My fiance spent 20 minutes taking pics of the ceilings and decor. Gorgeous room, incredible view overlooking Saint Patrick's Cathedral. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Heavenly beds, great showers, luxurious robes. Great Midtown location. 5 min walk to Rockefeller Center
Beautiful accommodations with a great staff. Very thoughtful and always pleasant. Good location in the heart of the city, near Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square, and more. Will definitely be back here again.
Elegant hotel with big rooms, bar and restaurant on-site. Good walking to restaurants and shopping. Biggest problem is the NYC pricing, which is insanely high. Loved the hotel but if it wasn't a business trip and company booked, I wouldn't stay here.

I was having such a nice time remembering our recent trip I thought I’d post a review. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful summer weekend at the Wall Street Hotel. All the staff were great, but we especially enjoyed a warm welcome by the doormen every time we entered the hotel. They were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel at “home.” Our room was stunning—the hotel’s decor is gorgeous. The...
I had a wonderful experience at The Wall Street Hotel. Staff is top notch. Eddie at the front door was very kind and welcoming. The room was decorated beautifully. Everything was extremely clean. The bathroom floors were heated which added to a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking to stay downtown but location is easily accessible to other parts of the city. Hotel is also...
We stayed at The Wall Street Hotel this past week for 2 nights as a family. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All staff were friendly especially the gentleman at the door. Both Eddie and David were so welcoming and friendly to our family. The rooms were very generously sized for New York and it had very high ceilings. The bonus perk was the heated floors in the bathroom. My husband also commented...
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights & had an absolutely luxurious experience. The rooms are spacious (especially by NYC standards), beautifully furnished and tastefully done. The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows. There was also a nice minibar service with a great and reasonably priced selection. The bathroom was perfect with a large, walk-in shower with multiple shower fixtures...
I stayed at the Wall Street hotel this weekend and it was a beautiful relaxing experience. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. This hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Everything is brand new and top of the line. I have stayed at hotels all over the world and this truly is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed in the room is extremely comfortable I got amazing rest...
It's not open yet but was offered to stay in one of the finished rooms as a trial. Was an amazing experience. Head waiter Nick was awesome! Can't wait until I come to life.

My daughter and I decided to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in the city. Some catch up time at a prime location close to all the attractions, the parade, and great restaurants. As an Elite member, check in was a breeze. I recommend downloading the app for quick access to updates regarding your reservation. We were accommodated on the 19th floor in a king room. The room smelled clean, was spacious...
Amazing location. Rooms were spacious. Beds on small side but comfy. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. The only cons: room had a musty smell and if you tell a 10 yr old you are going to send her something for her birthday, follow through! She was super excited when the front desk said they wanted to celebrate her birthday at check in and then super disappointed when they never...
My family stayed here for marathon weekend. We had two rooms that connected. The rooms were a nice size for NYC, clean and comfortable. We even had a view of Central Park even though I booked their basic room. I thought the service was great. Anytime I called down for something we needed it didn’t take long to get brought up to our room. Great location for the marathon very close to Central Park...
Lobby is beautiful. Elevators are horrifically slow and way too few of them. Our bathroom door doesn’t close. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan or vent, which I’ve never seen in a modern hotel. You can hear everything coming from the hallways, every word and every step. Bed is comfy. Location is obviously great. Wouldn’t stay again.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Central Park for our anniversary. The junior suite we had was great for the 2 of us! All the staff were friendly and kind! Breakfast at Parker’s was great! Location was superb. We took advantage of being so close to Central Park to do a bike ride in the park! We walked down to Broadway and Time Square easily. We would definitely stay here again...
Great location, great upper stories rooms with lounge access, music downstairs every night. Very cozy room.

We absolutely love working here! We frequently do hair and makeup for guests staying at this wonderful hotel, and every experience is fantastic. Service is top-notch, the rooms have perfect lighting, and parking is a breeze. Highly recommend!
Weekend away. Staff were fantastic. Room was a bit small for the price. Bed was super comfortable, strong water pressure in shower. Being near elevators was annoying at times. Restaurant (Jams) was decent. Overall, good hotel. Would stay again
Review of One Hotel Central Park One Hotel Central Park is a fantastic spot that mixes luxury with a laid-back vibe. The rooms are bright and spacious, with awesome views and eco-friendly touches. Its so exceptional. Super clean rooms , great interior design and spacious room with good out look on level 11. Can see Central Park from the room, very quiet, large comfortable bed, excellent location with all amenities close by and Central Park a few meters away, great for exercising in the morning, 2 cleaners stores across the road to wash clothes, plus supermarket and many cafes and restaurants...
As good as it gets. The staff and customer service is second to none. Especially Gilbert! From the door he (as well as all the staff) did everything he could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms were AMAZING and the eco friendly materials inspired us to decorate the house! 5 stars are not enough! We will return and stay at 1 Hotels in the future when given the opportunity!
A-MA-ZING! OUTSTANDING! Our favorite hotel in NYC. 2 steps from Central Park and commodities. Rooms with park view are stunning with their lovely cosy niche sofa by the large window and the glass shower - can see the park from everywhere in the room (curtains available).

Good location. Clean rooms, attentive staff. There is a restaurant - the prices are not critical, but above the average level of restaurants of this class.
I was there for the Intelligence Squared US/Adam Smith Society - Bitcoin debate. The hotel lobby is vast yet elegant. The event space upstairs is clean and elegant. The hotel staff was polite, professional and prompt.
Stayed at Barclay during a weekend visit to Manhattan. Convenient location in midtown. I personally love to walk around in Manhattan so this hotel was in a nice central location. Room and accommodations were great. Got a high floor corner room upgrade as a IHG medallion member. While I didn't go to it, the hotel is well known for its Gin bar in the ground level. Rooms are pricey but not over the top...
Very nice hotel, I've stayed multiple times and never been disappointed. The location is also nice as while you're right in midtown & walking distance to most anything Broadway shows etc it is not tourist crazy like times square location... Tip: if for some reason you're driving a few blocks east of the hotel on 48th is a reasonably priced icon, I dropped my rental car to the location when coming...
I wouldn't stay here again. For a 5 star hotel, this hotel has a long way to go in terms of service and attitude. Staff have to be pushed for serviced, the client relationship manager is great and she acknowledge that my concerns were valid. No complimentary bottled water in the rooms. If you use the items in the bathroom, you don't get a full replenishment like most other hotels but then luckily we...
We stayed for two nights and were not disappointed. All staff was friendly, courteous, and responsive. We ordered in-room breakfast and, while pricey, it was very filling, tasty, and well presented. Additionally the building is very aesthetically pleasing and quiet. Rooms are large and comfortable. Location is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Would be great to have a bit more variety on room service menu. Very small grip so still would absolutely recommend.
Really like it here. We have a "standard room" which is quite large for a NYC hotel room. Love the automatic blinds with backlighting. Also the fresh marble tile in the bathroom is very soothing. The hotel noticed that I was traveling with my 5 year old daughter and sent up some cookies with glasses of milk. Love little touches like this. Thanks for the hospitality!
First of all is the UNBELIEVABLE greetting you receive from Johnnie, the iconic Doorman/Greeter. The reception by name just socks you into the reception area. Once again, the enthusiasm, genuine and warmth helps you settle into the most incredible room away from home experience. Large, plush, comfortable needs in large inviting rooms take you to a far away land. The exquisite Gordon Ramsey restaurant...
Stayed here for the first time after considering several times. Will definitely be back. Essex House was pretty great. The restaurant has some very good drinks, and the concierge can recommend some excellent good options in the neighborhood. Here you are across the street from Central Park South and only a few minutes from Carnegie Hall. The staff are friendly and responsive. Overall, would recommend a stay here.
Greta location near central park. The staff is very professional and organized. I went there attending a work town hall meeting with Executives. I was pleased with breakfast service and the professionalism of the entire staff.
Grand OLD hotel (note the emphasis) that has many charms (including the outstanding Executive Lounge), but is in need of a refresh. IMO the cleanliness issues go beyond housekeeping and represent a need to refurbish carpets and bathrooms throughout the hotel. As far as Marriott's go in the US, this is one of the better properties given location and amenities but it could easily be the best property...
Top-flight service, friendly staff. Our room was spacious. The view was meh, but we were just there to sleep and didn't care (or care to pay for a view we didn't value). In-house food service was excellent. Hotel was clean, everything worked, the bed was very comfortable. Nothing more needed.
Love the location (across from Central Park). Rooms with view of CP are great but others are actually quieter. Excellent service all around. Very comfortable beds. Regular rooms are smallish but fine for a couple. Gold/Platinum members enjoy the excellent breakfast options in the concierge room by the elevators. Love staying here when in NYC!
Excellent location, staff, amenities and rooms. The front doormen are All Outstanding and so helpful. A spectacular view of Central Park and a short walk from many Desirable shops and restaurants. A Taxi is Always there to whisk you to/fro. Stay here, at The Essex House. You will be very glad you did.

The service was really nice at Conrad. Everyone was very friendly here. The place was quiet and organized which makes us feel composed and comfortable staying. To be honest we were surprised by how well the hotel is maintained since it was built for a while. The whole interior design is absolutely stunning and elegant. I would suggest they upgrade their hair dryer tho.
We absolutely loved our stay! We finally found a hotel and area in New York City that we enjoyed and look forward to returning. What a wonderful hotel away from all the tourists! I love this hotel. The 5 star service is on par. Rooms are super nice and housekeeping staff are on time, every day. The only thing I didn’t like about my stay here was the distance between the hotel and the metro. It’s about a 9 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again though. I am a fan!
Exactly what a hotel should be. The suites are a wonderful size given that you are in New York City downtown area. Service is friendly but doesn't go over the top like at other Conrad properties I have stayed at before. I especially liked that the location was a long the water. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Location is the best. Food is great at grill and access to Saint Ambrose is great. We have been staying here over 30 years. We were welcomed with fresh fruit , water and ice when we arrived to our room.
The staff was FANTASTIC. The location was absolutely perfect for us, lots of kid friendly restaurant options nearby, and Central Park is a short walk. I stayed here in August 2019 and really enjoyed it. It was very very clean. The room was bright and had a great view. The hotel lobby smelled very good and the staff were very generous. I had a great time. I was hoping to stay again this year but after Covid-19 my entire trip was cancelled.
Had an amazing stay with my mom at this hotel. Great location - close to the subway, Trader Joe's and many restaurants. The staff was very helpful and responsive. What amazing views from the Terrace Suites at this Four Seasons New York. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and discrete. The hotel's lobby, bar, and lounge are beautifully designed... The suite I resided in during my stay was beautiful, with spectacular views from a large terrace. I certainly look forward to many returns to this Four Seasons Hotel, NY.
A 5 star, elegant, discreet hotel. The interior is confusing, lacks a real centre or place of welcome and is rather cold but the service is impeccable. The 57 banquet space lacks privacy and is a mishmash of Oriental and Art Deco aesthetics. Very underwhelming and I think, probably still able to command the higher rates due to location and it's connection to films. Literally no service to speak to. The doorman was rude but other than that you hardly see anyone and who you do, they do not interact in any way. Is it poor service - no; but is there any service to speak about, not really.
Stayed at the start of December. An amazing hotel but hugely over priced due to it being a tourist attraction in its own right at this time of year. The rooms are huge, very comfortable and luxurious with a bathroom almost as big as some hotel rooms in Manhattan. Check in was very slow. Only one member of staff on reception meant we stood waiting for almost 30 minutes to check in. Got to our room...
I booked a four night stay in an Edwardian suite to spend thanksgiving in the city. We went for Christmas lunch, it was very tranquil in the middle of the NYC hustle and bustle. The food options were great and the kids think it was the best buffet they have ever eaten.
We only came in for a drink. We found it to be too pretentious. We are young and not dressed up. My wife was disappointed as she had great experience before. Maybe they should consider that young people not dressed up may have more money than older people. In fairness, the drinks came with some nice dark chocolate on the house.

This beautifully restored hotel is an absolute delight! I met friends from out of town who were staying there for our shared birthday dinner at the hotel's Temple Court restaurant. The food was perfection and the attentive wait staff was wonderful.
Drinks at The Bar Room are great. Amazing staff, fun atmosphere, perfectly curated drink menu, and a fantastic space all around. Highly recommend!
Boutique hotel with a lot of potential in a great location downtown close to 9/11 memorial. Service tends to be slow and unpredictable (eg breakfast meal somehow served before my coffee, check took forever to arrive, in-room dining menu out of date with items unavailable). I have visited twice and unfortunately can no longer be put down to teething issues.
The downtown location was very nice. It's quieter than midtown and still has lots of nice cultural amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were large for NYC and in a beautiful building.
I stopped in for breakfast and the staff were very accommodating, even though I had no reservation and was not a guest. The hotel is very handsomely appointed and the staff are rock solid dependable and courteous. A superb establishment so far as I could see.

I've stayed here probably 5-6 times over the past few years. The rooms were always spotlessly clean and comfortable. Frosted glass doors in the bathroom, comfortable bed, super polite staff, and the room service for text messaging was a very nice addition as I had never experienced this before my stay. Beautiful hotel, was not a guest but can speak to the friendliness of the staff and how beautiful and well maintained everything was.
Beyond satisfied. The rooms, the services, the staff. A place that is truly worthy of all praises. I was unable to find anything bad in this place. A true five star experience. Thanks for the great memories.
Great view of the Central Park. Comfortable chairs. Just be careful with the water jars they use, it spills!
Room and view incredible! Service and facilities average (swimming pool cold and staff not always very effective or caring especially at the restaurant)
Came here for a networking event. The view is phenomenal up here!! Offered sushi, American and an everything Truffle stations. It was an open bar and the staff didn’t skimp on the liquor.
