33 Seaport Hotel New York, New York1 / 50High rating
10
New York, 33 Peck Slip 🧭 Map
The room was tastefully designed and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the Brooklyn bridge from the 7th floor was amazing. The area around the hotel had a nice selection of restaurants as well. The only thing that was a negative for us was that it is a bit far from the nearest metro station.
We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday here. Everyone in the hotel & the restaurant were very friendly & provided great service, especially the gentleman at the desk overnight. Whenever I saw him throughout the weekend he remembered it was my birthday! Definitely will stay here again
My partner and I stayed here last week, and although the hotel is on the older side (refurbished), and the restaurant’s food was ok, I still give the experience a five star due to how kind they were. Specifically, Peter took care of us very well. We arrived at 10am in the morning as we had to check out from the other hotel. Although we didn’t get our room (as we’d expect being so early), Peter (I believe...
Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in while visiting New York City, Mr. C Seaport is easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. The staff is incredible, the hotel amenities are impressive, and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The location is great, too — views of the Brooklyn Bridge, just across the street from the new Tin Building development, and quick access to the FDR Drive makes getting around...

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, New York1 / 50

New York, 50 Central Park South 🧭 Map
This hotel was not what I anticipated. While its location is undoubtedly prime, it didn't meet the Ritz-Carlton standards I've come to expect. The rooms felt small, with dirty windows, basic amenities, and some old-fashioned decor and furniture elements. The service was basic, lacking the attention to detail I've encountered at other locations. Moreover, given the quality, the price was steep. If you...
I love the room, the view and the room service food. But I have payed for a high floor with park view and I expected to have a higher floor then the one the hotel gave me. I have asked for a higher floor and was informed that they were closed. Not nice for an expensive hotel. Should have payed for a lower floor and would have get thesame view.
Amazing staff, location and atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only thing is if you book through a travel agency don't expect a requested room with a view. Call the hotel directly. We asked for a room with a parade route view. We didn't get it. But that wasnt to hotels fault. You can watch the parade at the club level but you have to pay an extra $600 dollars for 2 people
EXCEPTIONAL! The team at the ritz central park gives a level of service and positive attitude that leaves you in shock. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our four year anniversary, and we made a note that we were both vegan. The General Manager Douglas, the chef Andrew and the pastry chef Anthony went out of their way to make things special. The actually went out special to find tofu and vegan meats...
Spectacular stay! I absolutely love the attention to detail that the hotel staff has shown. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff had left champagne and strawberries on arrival. We were asked for our plans before arrival and the guest relations manager left small mementos in our room after each event. This was greatly appreciated and showed the attention to detail we enjoyed. The staff...
We stayed in a suite overlooking the Macy's Parade route on Thanksgiving weekend 2018 and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and staff. The staff was super attentive, room service was pretty good too. Rooms were really quiet and large enough for my family of 4. Our suite looked out over Central Park and the views were absolutely spectacular. Elevators are very well done, if a little...

Convenient location but this is an aged property with remiss service staff. Elevator is slow and shaking crazily. Room service did not replenish towels, floor mat or shower gels. Air conditioning is loud but intermittently breaks down in the night. My room did not have a working hair dryer, and they could not replace it until the next day; I was told that there were no spare working hair dryers in...
I’ve had a remarkable stay at Marmara Park Ave NYC. The apt has a full kitchen w high end appliances and everything is 5star and very comfortable. I want to thank Angie, Rolande, Rolando and Yoan and the entire staff who made my stay exceptional. The hotel has a very nice pool and Turkish spa, very good restaurant for room service or lobby dining. Thank u thank u for your exceptional Turkish hospitality...
From the moment we stepped into the Marmara, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury and warmth. Our stay in the one-bedroom suite was nothing short of exceptional. The suite itself was a sanctuary in the heart of bustling New York City. Impeccably designed with elegant furnishings and modern amenities, it felt like a home away from home. The spacious layout provided ample room to relax and unwind...
Fantastic location. Very good value for money. Loved the balcony overlooking the Empire States.
This is an amazing place. Attentive staff, affordable prices. The only outdoor pool in New York. I highly recommend staying here. I don't usually review places, but I was so happy and satisfied with my experience that I had to say something. Best hotel in New York. Thanks for the great service.
Wonderful!!!! Elegant, beautiful, great staff, great location. Beautiful rooms with incredible views!! Only one night of stay and the noisy, crowded New York disappeared! It felt like I was missing. Big!. Chance, Matt, Jackson, Tyler and my room service lady - you are all great staff. Kind, professional, attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be returning - I can't wait!!! Highly recommended...

I can't think of a better place to stay for our first visit to NYC. The Mercer Hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and accommodating. From the initial reservation process, concierge, door greetings, check in, housekeeping, and during our visit, we couldn't not have been treated better! The rooms are very clean and well stocked with anything you may need. Most comfortable...
Amazing location. Really helpful staff. Delicious food. Pleasant, quiet & relaxing atmosphere. Perfect nest in the heart of soho
Couldn’t speak more highly of the front desk stuff here. They all went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and truly made our stay here wonderful. Special thank you to Travis and Jack who did a fantastic job with any of our requests. The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern and the location of the hotel is also fabulous. We stayed here for 7 nights and have no complaints whatsoever
First trip to NYC and couldn't be happier with the service and amazing staff! They knew all the good places to visit and eat. Setup a private car for a few places further away and he was just as wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely stay on next trip back
Breathtaking floor to ceiling doors to your own courtyard in NYC!!!! I’ve stayed everywhere and always a suite and usually on the upper east side. I am now converted to a SoHo woman. The easy openness, the comfortable and practical furniture. From the time I pulled up someone was always there to help and I just asked about a bigger room just in case a cancellation or something and they did not say...
Delicious food. Have been here several times and can recommend the place and the food. I have tried their fish plus starter with sashimi and crispy rice and that is my favorite. So delicious. Location is great in the heart of SoHo.

The only plus is that the lobby is well decorated and that it’s next to Times Square. The concierge and the service is absolutely horrendous. The service at the front desk and room service were incredibly rude, considering I’m paying a large price for numerous rooms. I will never be staying here again because of how rude, inconsiderate and ridiculously cheap the staff are here. Insane for the price...
Wonderful location, close to all amenities and restaurants. The hotel itself is tired and not well kept. We entered the elevator upon arrival to find a dirty towel and wrappers on the floor. Our room had a distinct urine smell so we complained and were moved to a much nicer room that was at least clean. The manager was apologetic and did try and make us feel comfortable. The new room was better but...
Located in Times square, but it's still fairly quiet and rooms are good size. I had a premium view of the Hudson and the rooms were very clean and well serviced. The lobby is nice to hangout in and the restaurant has some great drinks. We had some smokey old fashioneds. Check at the concierges desk there are a lot of free services which include a cruise and visit to one world tower. Also there are...
This hotel is in a prime location and it's so easy to walk to a lot of fantastic tourist spots in Manhattan. You are just a block from time square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Every request we had they took care of and were very accommodating. Security was taken seriously as well. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. I told a manager how impressed I was with how friendly everyone was at the hotel. The baggage guys at the front were kind, helpful and even though I tipped they weren’t friendly and helpful for a tip. It seemed like everyone just wanted us to have a wonderful stay. The front desk gal, East and friendly. Our fright was at 4am and we were very tired, she tried very hard to let us check in a bit early...
Great location. Easy access to the subway and all the restaurants of Hell's Kitchen. Rooms are nice. Beds are excellent. Reasonable price.

Very nice place, elevators are very fancy. The dinner is fantastic, the breakfast is less fantastic. The rooms are well kept. Overall solid place, would definitely recommend.
I stayed at this Beautiful Hotel last week. You can not say enough about this Hotel and Experience. This 5 Star hotel is gorgeous with amazing views of the city. Especially at night. The service and staff are great and the location in the city is perfect. The rooms are clean, pristine, and all done with a modern feel. I would definitely recommend staying at this Hotel if you have the opportunity..
This hotel is part of the new Marriott Edition brand and is very impressive. The room was in impeccable shape and was tastefully decorated. Half of the building has great views of the Empire State building. One downside to this property is that there is no concierge lounge and no free breakfast for Marriott Gold and Platinum Elite members.
Really enjoyed my stay at The New York Edition. From the moment I walked in I was greeted right away by the friendly staff. Special shout-out to the guys by the front doors always greeting me when I come in and out through the day with big smiles. If I remember correctly one of them was Andrés and he was awesome! The hotel is beautifully designed and I especially loved the winding stairs in the lobby...
Had a lovely pre-Christmas stay! The room was very comfortable, the view of Madison Park and the Empire State Building was spectacular! All staff was friendly. Finally, food was tasty and the bathtub is worth the price of the stay! Will stay again -- not one sour note!

Small and modern hotel. But you can get good service from the friendly staff and the convenient location will help you on your trip.
Well located hotel, helpful staff at reception. Clean, small room but enough space, very large and comfortable bed.
There are many "4 star" hotels. This one gets a 5 from me because it has a great balance of space and people. The staff was incredible. They were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The king room on the top floor was perfect. Overpriced minibar, but who cares. Standard room but very comfortable where needed. I would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic service at the front desk. An immaculate and fabulous meeting room. Best AC! The bar will open on June 1st.
It's a shame there is a few building works going on, however the staff are very friendly and attentive, the room is nice although a tight squeeze in some places.

I was having such a nice time remembering our recent trip I thought I’d post a review. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful summer weekend at the Wall Street Hotel. We stayed at The Wall Street Hotel this past week for 2 nights as a family. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All staff were friendly especially the gentleman at the door. Had stayed there before a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much we went back. Rooms are well furnished, spacious and cleaned well. Very little if any noise from traffic outside. It is well placed for all the attractions which in the main are well within walking distance unless you have mobility issues. If this is the case there is usually a yellow cab outside, or the Door staff will get you one...
It's a rooftop venue, with pretty decent views. It's very modern, yet sort of laid back at the same time. Although they do have a dress code, so one would have to look their best. The food is pretty good, they offer a tapas menu with a decent selection and the list of flatbreads that are very good. It does get packed so the only recommendation I would have is to reserve a table in advance, you may...
Have been to the hotel a few times and have never been disappointed. Well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, great service. Staff know your name and welcome you back personally. If you can get a corner room, you'll have...
The rooms are well clean and modern. They have everything you'd expect from hair dryers to irons to safes. They are comfortable and cute. Very cool rooftop bar and restaurant. Very trendy spot. Consider checking if events are happening before heading there. The view is cool but not the best rooftop views.

We have stayed at several different hotels while visiting New York and this is the best so far. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is beautiful, the front desk staff were very accommodating. This hotel had a lot of pros and some cons, but for me the pros weighed more than the cons. Let me start of with the negatives, in our first room we got. Essex House was pretty great. The restaurant has some very good drinks, and the concierge can recommend some excellent good options in the neighborhood. Here you are across the street from Central Park South and only a few minutes from Carnegie Hall. The staff are friendly and responsive. Overall, would recommend a stay here.
Greta location near central park. The staff is very professional and organized. I went there attending a work town hall meeting with Executives. I was pleased with breakfast service and the professionalism of the entire staff.
Grand OLD hotel (note the emphasis) that has many charms (including the outstanding Executive Lounge), but is in need of a refresh. IMO the cleanliness issues go beyond housekeeping and represent a need to refurbish carpets and bathrooms throughout the hotel. As far as Marriott's go in the US, this is one of the better properties given location and amenities but it could easily be the best property...
Top-flight service, friendly staff. Our room was spacious. The view was meh, but we were just there to sleep and didn't care (or care to pay for a view we didn't value). In-house food service was excellent. Hotel was clean, everything worked, the bed was very comfortable. Nothing more needed.
Love the location (across from Central Park). Rooms with view of CP are great but others are actually quieter. Excellent service all around. Very comfortable beds. Regular rooms are smallish but fine for a couple. Gold/Platinum members enjoy the excellent breakfast options in the concierge room by the elevators. Love staying here when in NYC!
Excellent location, staff, amenities and rooms. The front doormen are All Outstanding and so helpful. A spectacular view of Central Park and a short walk from many Desirable shops and restaurants. A Taxi is Always there to whisk you to/fro. Stay here, at The Essex House. You will be very glad you did.

The hotel is great, the location is close to everything, without being in the middle of the mess that is Time square. I will say, if you love showers, you will LOVE these showers. A 2 foot rain head and an obscene amount of endless hot water.
Amazing!!! 6 stars!! Great service! Perfect room (I stayed in the Garden Suite). Most definitely would recommend for a special occasion.
Went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable! We stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday and they were so nice and congratulated him with a bottle of wine and a note. We brought our then 7 week old baby and they went out and bought a bathtub for her to bathe in! We loved that. No other hotel has done that when we've traveled. Very nice very clean. And affordable
Staff and facility is of the highest quality. Room was spotless, very New York, and had luxury touches all over the place. Staff took special care of my children and I appreciated it very much. This is my new spot to stay in NYC.

I stayed here in August 2019 and really enjoyed it. It was very very clean. The room was bright and had a great view. The hotel lobby smelled very good and the staff were very generous. I had a great time. I was hoping to stay again this year but after Covid-19 my entire trip was cancelled.

Very underwhelming and I think, probably still able to command the higher rates due to location and it's connection to films. Literally no service to speak to. The doorman was rude but other than that you hardly see anyone and who you do, they do not interact in any way. Is it poor service - no; but is there any service to speak about, not really.
Stayed at the start of December. An amazing hotel but hugely over priced due to it being a tourist attraction in its own right at this time of year. The rooms are huge, very comfortable and luxurious with a bathroom almost as big as some hotel rooms in Manhattan. Check in was very slow. Only one member of staff on reception meant we stood waiting for almost 30 minutes to check in. Got to our room...

This beautifully restored hotel is an absolute delight! I met friends from out of town who were staying there for our shared birthday dinner at the hotel's Temple Court restaurant. The food was perfection and the attentive wait staff was wonderful.
Drinks at The Bar Room are great. Amazing staff, fun atmosphere, perfectly curated drink menu, and a fantastic space all around. Highly recommend!
Boutique hotel with a lot of potential in a great location downtown close to 9/11 memorial. Service tends to be slow and unpredictable (eg breakfast meal somehow served before my coffee, check took forever to arrive, in-room dining menu out of date with items unavailable). I have visited twice and unfortunately can no longer be put down to teething issues.
The downtown location was very nice. It's quieter than midtown and still has lots of nice cultural amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were large for NYC and in a beautiful building.
I stopped in for breakfast and the staff were very accommodating, even though I had no reservation and was not a guest. The hotel is very handsomely appointed and the staff are rock solid dependable and courteous. A superb establishment so far as I could see.
