Beautiful property, with exquisite features in the Villard Mansion areas. Our room on the 9th floor was spotless, well equipped and had the most amazing view of the Cathedral. Only wish we had more time to stay there longer. The Bellman Matt was another highlight of our stay - supremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Michael on reception was also very helpful and attentive to our needs.

Elegant hotel with big rooms, bar and restaurant on-site. Good walking to restaurants and shopping. Biggest problem is the NYC pricing, which is insanely high. Loved the hotel but if it wasn't a business trip and company booked, I wouldn't stay here.

Lobby is beautiful. Elevators are horrifically slow and way too few of them. Our bathroom door doesn’t close. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan or vent, which I’ve never seen in a modern hotel. The rooms are huge, very comfortable and luxurious with a bathroom almost as big as some hotel rooms in Manhattan. Check in was very slow. I booked a four night stay in an Edwardian suite to spend thanksgiving in the city. The check in was very smooth and the property appears well kept with nice fragrance pumped right through the HVAC system. The entire place smelled nice as a result. We went for Christmas lunch, it was very tranquil in the middle of the NYC hustle and bustle. The food options were great and the kids think it was the best buffet they have ever eaten.

We only came in for a drink. We found it to be too pretentious. We are young and not dressed up. My wife was disappointed as she had great experience before. Maybe they should consider that young people not dressed up may have more money than older people. In fairness, the drinks came with some nice dark chocolate on the house.

Luxurious hotel in a very convenient location. Easy walk to the 911 Memorial as well as Wall Street. Great bar and restaurant. Comfortable room with wonderful bed and linens. Gordon was so helpful as was all the staff as we found our way around lower Manhattan.

This beautifully restored hotel is an absolute delight! I met friends from out of town who were staying there for our shared birthday dinner at the hotel's Temple Court restaurant. The food was perfection and the attentive wait staff was wonderful.

Drinks at The Bar Room are great. Amazing staff, fun atmosphere, perfectly curated drink menu, and a fantastic space all around. Highly recommend!

Boutique hotel with a lot of potential in a great location downtown close to 9/11 memorial. Service tends to be slow and unpredictable (eg breakfast meal somehow served before my coffee, check took forever to arrive, in-room dining menu out of date with items unavailable). I have visited twice and unfortunately can no longer be put down to teething issues.

The downtown location was very nice. It's quieter than midtown and still has lots of nice cultural amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were large for NYC and in a beautiful building.

I stopped in for breakfast and the staff were very accommodating, even though I had no reservation and was not a guest. The hotel is very handsomely appointed and the staff are rock solid dependable and courteous. A superb establishment so far as I could see.
