Perfect hotel for a perfect getaway. Everything is within walking distance. I am a regular visiting NYC for both business and leisure. When I am here with family, we live staying at the Marquis. The rooms are spacious unlike several other hotels in this prime location — I’ve stayed in those as well. Yes, it’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Enjoy!

Nice hotel but we were unaware of the $25/day mandatory fee they charge you per day you stay. You get a $25 credit toward the restaurant in the hotel. But who's to say I want to eat there in the hotel when I can find food that I actually want and for less. Very trendy / hip hotel. Rooms are regular sized and not the most quiet. Street noise trickles through. Front desk staff is friendly when there but when calling in to fix name errors on booking they were borderline rude. Rooms have enough outlets and tub showers are decent. Insta hot water. We just arrived for our annual trip. It's me and four friends. We stay at The Lexington very February. The rates are great this time of year. The staff is awesome! They treat us like family. It's like our our NYC home. It's in a neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby and a great store for snacks and such. And there's a Starbucks in the lobby!

We arrived during New Years week and the service was still great. The hotel was packed but the staff was always smiling and accommodating. Room was small but clean and the daily service was done right. I actually got my first job while in college at the front desk of the Lexington Hotel. The renovations they have done are great we had a great experience.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here at the Manhattan! It was clean and the staff were very friendly and efficient! We were in a large group that had to wait for a bus to take us to the pier so we all congregated in the very large lobby. The staff were not flustered in the least and remained pleasant and helpful! You are charged additional for a meal ticket for a choice of a muffin and a juice. This isn’t worth the extra fee. The photos advertised on the website is not the same type of room I was provided. I’ve seen been motel 6s. The room was very old. Clean, but old. None of the ice machines worked. Half of the electrical outlets didn’t work. Parking prices more than what is advertised.

Recently stayed for six nights at the New York Marriott East Side with a girlfriend. The room was equipped with two queen beds with lovely soft pillows. It was very clean, and they left us in private as requested. It was a very nice stay.

Neat hotel, conveniently located. Breakfast buffet was a good value. Free coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon at the lobby was a nice touch. Our room had a small kitchenette which was useful. There's a small gym and a laundry room in the basement.

Check in went smoothly and quickly. Rooms were clean...a little dated but clean. Free breakfast was nice (elite members lounge). I would recommend this hotel.

We booked here for a stay in January via Expedia and got a great price. The location is great for Times Square since we were there to see a show. The rooms are decent and served our needs. It's an older hotel but we'll maintained.

I would give the facility 3 stars and the staff 5 stars. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in all areas. The hotel is historic but it could use some updating, the rooms are definitely in need of a refresh although the beds were quite comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Perfect location for our first stay in NYC, close to the subway and otherwise very central for walking to different places. Super cool decor inside, our room was more spacious than I expected, very clean. The beds were comfortable. All staff are very courteous and super helpful. The breakfast/bar/space on the 2nd floor was a nice touch. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Watch out for hidden fee presented as ‘hotel credits’. $30 per day will be charged to you. This kind of practice leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Hotel was fine - clean, fair location. Small room is incredibly small. Difficult to stay with a suitcase as there’s nowhere to store it. I would only recommend for 1-2 nights with a small bag.

Very close to Time Square, Empire State Building Ordered breakfast through Butler Service and it was excellent. Rooms are small but efficiently laid out.
