Excellent location. Big room in NYC. Nice gym room. Great view. Comfortable bed.
Just a bit old. No water provided.
They charged me 200 USD for city view room for which I have already paid and booked the same .
Very conveniently located, in the middle of all happening in New York. The hotel is very busy, the restaurants and lounge bar are nice. Rooms are pretty spacious too. But a bit "too busy" and might be hard if you want a bit of retreat and rest your mind from the busy daily schedule. Still a good choice, very usual Marriott hospitality, a choice that make sense if you're traveling for business and looking...
Very good location. Facing the famous Time Square. The room is well maintained and clean. I do not like the additional 40 USD per room per night that I need to pay at the hotel, but we can use it at a hotel bar and restaurant as room credits.
We loved the hotel. The elevator system was quite different for us. The staff was polite. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed pillows. The proximity from our theater was perfect; right across the street. We'd love to visit again.
Prime location on time square

Firm, comfy bed. Great bathroom with spacious shower. And the best (and most shocking part?) SO QUIET! shockingly quiet for Times Square. It was awesome. Very clean and tidy Charming staff all over. Helpful and polite even when things were busy and buzzing

The toilet had leaks issue (the room in level 48). Called hotel to fix it but the first engineer was not able to find the issue. The second engineer was able to find the issue but we were leaving New York on the same day. The leak from the toilet is quite gross.

great location but service in NY also poor.
Breakfast are expensive there, buffet for USD 47
Managed to arrive early and allowed early check-in at 1pm plus instead of 4pm. The caucasian woman stationed at the check-in counter was not the most friendly person. I passed her my credit card and was waiting for her to instruct me to sign for receipt. After a long pause, i realized i have to do something with the machine, and asked her where do i click for the machine. She did not respond kindly...
The hotel had overcharged me $150.
When I first checked in in the hotel, they changed $150 for upgrade. This is ok
They also retained us $150 as deposit.
The hotel advised us that the hotel wouldl issue us two free tickets for city tour. Also, the hotel advised us we would have $150 credit while shopping or eating in the hotel. When we checked out, we found the hotel did not gave the credit to...
Fantastic Gym! Dumbbells go up to 100 pounds and all equipment was in good working condition. Very clean with water dispensers and towels. Easy to access in basement level. Open 24hrs too
The room has NO fridge or microwave and they're quite small. Clean and decently updated.

The best about this hotel is location. However, we were not happy that upon checking in, the hotel mandated for daily destination charges of USD35 per room per night. This charge was not disclosed earlier when we booked the hotel. It became a marketing gimmick because its rate looked competitive in the travel booking platform.
Rooms were very humid and it did not improve with AC. It needs better ventilation or a dehumidifier. My clothes were left smelling musty by the end of the stay.
Clean hotel and convenient location. I even got to check in early for a small fee, it was well worth it.
Location was perfect as it was located in the middle of Manhattan. Convenient to go anywhere really. Room was clean but not spotless. It is the US, not Asia 😂. All in all, pretty satisfied but the price was high during my stay.
Staff was very unfriendly, the rooms were unimpressive, and there was no city view despite being promised one. We paid over $1,000 per night.
Not going back there AGAIN!
Why don’t have toothpaste and toothbrush? It’s five stars hotel ? It’s very strange and don’t comfortable. You need add this items .

I just returned from my stay with a large school group. We were very pleased with our experience! The room size was extremely small, especially for four girls, but since we were only really there to sleep this wasn't a problem. I was pleasantly surprised that we had a great view of the city given that we had a "standard" room (I was expecting a brick wall!) and the layout of the room was nice for the...

A very nice hotel right in the middle of Manhattan, and one of the few where the relationship price/quality is pretty fair.
I would say the best part is the service, the reception staff is wonderfully kind and attentive. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable and clean. The room cleaning staff is also very nice.
The location is pretty convenient, right next to a subway station and steps away...
They advertise a lot about their past and the celebrities they had but they really need to up their game, the location is great but it looks like our room hadn't had any real upgrade in this century.
We stayed in the cheap Paris airport hotel during our transit and it was felt like a luxury hotel in comparison, it was way more modern, amenities were in a better state, the bed was more comfortable...
The New Yorker Hotel was exactly what we needed to celebrate my mother’s 76th birthday. NYC was on her bucket list and this hotel offers an absolutely perfect location. Upon arrival we were greeted by Hector who introduced himself and asked about our travel. From arrival to departure he addressed my mother as “grandma” (we had my daughter & niece traveling with us) and gave her the red carpet treatment...
The New Yorker Hotel in New Manhattan offers a blend of classic elegance and modern comfort. From the moment you step into the grand lobby, you're greeted with a sense of timeless sophistication. Location of the hotel was good. Very close to Times Square, grand central station and bus stands. Hotel was easy to check in and check out. Everything is available close to the hotel . Lots of places to eat too. There is a market in the hotel where u can take anything worth 15$ . Hotel room was big and nice .
Hotel location was good, staff were friendly . We had issue of extra blanket , but later it was sorted .
Overall good experience
Great experience and good places to stay. Nearby the subway and central.
Great locations. Friendly staff. Room was clean
Check in to room 2109 and ac was blowing 85….turned it on and left for an hour…hoping it would work….but it was broken. Engineering came up and after spending a whole lot of time in our room….it started working. But next our tv remote control didn’t work.
So we couldn’t get ready because the hotel was in such bad shape…..and crazy add on charges like a $4 hold bag fee. The low price is deceptive....
Great location and stay. Need to have a microwave, we wasted a lot of money due to cold food.

Location is great in mid-town Manhattan, and being close to Grand Central is wonderful, however as far as the hotel goes, I was disappointed with my room. The hotel is certainly beautiful, but for being a historic hotel, that I was excited to check out during one of my most recent trips to NYC, I found the hotel lacking in many ways from what I expected. The room was decently clean, but there was a...
This place is gorgeous and stunning. I took a tour of the hotel with my class and we got to see the rooms they offered and the back. Even though we were not official guests. Everyone treated us as of we were staying there. Everyone who works in the kitchen is super nice as is those in the front. Everything is kept very clean and tidy. Only thing about the rooms is that they are gorgeous and make you...
The building is gorgeous. When we checked in, everyone was so nice. They upgraded us to a bigger room so that we could move around easier. The shower had amazing water pressure and it was easy to walk to wherever we decided to go. The baggage check was very awesome for when we wanted to walk around the city in our last day when we had already checked out. Truly it was an amazing experience to stay...
Hotel was very friendly and accommodating! Would stay here again next time I was in town. My reason for the 4 star review was my terrible experience at the restaurant. We were there for about an hour and a half and we ordered a burger and a salad. We were put in the corner because it was busy and there was limited seating. We never even received a refill on our water! Once we asked for our bill it...
This place was clean, and pretty straightforward. While I admit other than the lobby the interior could really use an update. During our stay there were a couple instances were the elevators stopped working, or our room key would randomly stop opening the door. Fortunately the hotel is right next to Grand Central, Times Square and plenty of other tourist attractions that made our stay super convenient...
Room was pretty basic. Bed was fine. Room clean. Decent TV. Simple bathroom. Building is old. Due for a remodel, but fit the budget and you couldn't beat the location. Staff are great and the good offerings in the hotel good but expect NYC prices. The only negative is the elevators, while there are 6 of them, there is always a line, or large number of people waiting for the elevator, and its unorganized...

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here. I had reservations about the size of the room, given the comments about NY hotel rooms, but it was a pleasant surprise that ours was a very well appointed one on a high floor with a view of the Chrysler building.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Westin Grand Central. The location was conveniently central for transportation, dining, and shopping. The staff was pleasant across the board - check-in, concierge, luggage check, bartenders, and floor mgmt.

I wanted to splurge on a nice hotel close to Grand Central Station, and this is where I landed. The staff provided excellent service, but I should make note that you cannot just walk in and book a room. Everything must be done online. Once you have a confirmation number, only then will you be able to check-in to your accommodations. The room was clean and quiet. The air-conditioner was nice and cold...
I love the Westin chain of hotels. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, even in the rather brusque American way.
Rooms are always clean and tidy, rather spacious even at the lower price range and always include a desk to work at.
While the TV selection could be improved I noticed on my most recent trip that you can now sign into your YouTube and Netflix which is just fantastic!
This hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious and there are so many pillows and towels. Room comes with a robe with was a nice touch. The parking is $65 a day and the snacks are expensive, but that's going to be expected. If you just want a nice hotel with a great view, and a good location (super great bakery and juice bar next door) this is a good place to stay.
This places very convenient and very lovely environment. It was well designed and it was an easy flow either to the bar or to the tables. The service was very good and very quick. Friendly service. Great room. Awesome location right in the heart of times square. Family friendly. Very diverse hotel guests from all over the world. Parking was very easy worth the valet service provided.
I enjoyed my stay at the Edison. It's right in Times Square so I was really close to all of the action. The rooms were spacious enough, I had a comfortable queen sized bed. The bathroom was adequate, enough room to do the essentials. The only caveat is that because it's in Times Square, the noise was an issue. As a diamond elite member I was offered an upgrade to a times square view. Customer service was good. Rooms are clean and view from our room was impressive. Only main complaints were that the ac didn't really get cold was lucky to get below 22 degrees. And the room we had the carpet was missing parts. Beds were comfy and as I said very clean. This hotel is extremely busy but this is a great location, close to food, trains, and everything you need. In particular I wanted to compliment Freddy at the front desk. The best customer service ever. He answered all my questions and was even able to make several great suggestions. His knowledge about the area and his kindness goes a long way. I will definitely be back because of him
Excellent location and friendly staff. The breakfast place is a cafe so not much choice there. There is a small bar and you can leave the luggage in the check room for the day, on check out. I thought my stay at the hotel was awesome. They upgraded my room to one with a view of Times Square and it did not disappoint. Also, the layout of the room was very interesting. It was also very modern and updated, with interesting decor. My biggest issue with it is it's a pain to get from the street level up to your floor if you have a stroller or wheelchair. You have to shuffle between elevators

Amazingly comfortable beds . Small mix up with our room meant we got free drink coupons and WiFi . The only letdown was the bathroom . Bath had rust and was very low though the water was nice and hot
Location is hard to beat and the beds are really comfortable. The shower was a total pain though (aimed towards the wall couldn't move it) and the TV barely functioned. Can't control your room temp!
Met up with a old friend from school who was visiting NYC. The hotel was close to grand central so getting there was easy. The hotel lobby and bar were very nice and quite swanky. Good stay - not directly in Times Square which is good. Can leave luggage at hotel for free but the robot that does it is often down. Comfy bed.

Great hotel. I love the Y2K aesthetic. They really commit to the style. Staff was very nice and helpful. Baggage hold was great. Only complaint was that there is no dedicated fan/vent that you can turn on in in the bathroom area. As a Titanium member; I got upgraded to a suite but what is strange is that they only have a queen bed in a suite however, a superior room has a king bed. Comfortable beds and pillows. My biggest gripe was the older looking rooms. The suggestion to management is to include vegetarian items in the complimentary breakfast. We picked items...
work always put me in this hotel for the business trip. standard room. considerably more spacious than same price hotels. mini bar isn't very cold. shower pressure is okay. but if you're taking shower at busy time, you will only get warm water.
I stayed here for my birthday and it was pretty alright. Their vegan burger was truly delicious. Most staff members were quite pleasant. No sense of customer service at all. Rooms are basic. Beds are fine. Shower was solid. Better than your average. Location works well for me and there are some good restaurants in this part of town. Was fine, but...
I stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms are pretty okay, I've had much better places in the same locality and similar prices. I stayed in the Wonderful room which was just about okay. The safe wasn't working and they took forever to get it repaired. Their restaurant has a rather small menu, but the service is efficient. The gym is bearable (on 4th floor). Ask for higher level rooms. It's about 10 minutes...
