Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan, an IHG Hotel

Nearly perfect. The staff were such a great help with any question you may have. The maid staff did a wonderful job caring for our room. Bring water, it’s about $4 per bottle here. Our room was small (which I understand in the norm for NY), but the minor issue we had was the smell of the room. It might have been the people before us but the room smelled muggy the whole time. We did request air freshener and it seemed they sprayed the room once. The area was 10minutes from nearly everything including Javits Center.

My friend and I went to a concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom, so the location of the hotel was great! There was a bit of an issue with a late check-out offer as an IHG Platinum Elite Member, but the staff were very understanding and rectified the issue promptly with no issues! Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the complimentary perks to our stay as well.

A nice hotel overall that seems to have been recently renovated. Everyone is extremely friendly and polite, which I really appreciated. The rooms are modern and rather spacious for NYC. However, the breakfast was rather disappointing so I’d recommend just booking the room without breakfast. Apart from that, the location is also great and you can easily access any spot in the city.

I was here for 4 nights. My flight landed early in the morning and check in wasn't until 3 PM. I called the hotel to see if we could do an early check in and were accommodated once we got there. It truly was a nice experience. The staff welcomed us every time we left and came back from the hotel.
The location of the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from time square. or a 5 minute walk to the subway.
If I were to come back I'd probably stay a little closer to Times Square. Thank you for making my stay pleasant on my first trip to NYC!

Some the best hotel service I’ve have in a long time. Myself and a friend came for my birthday Fourth of July weekend. Even with completely full hotel I still felt seen and heard and the service did not waiver. Accommodating , kind, they followed up on my requests to ensure I was happy. The restaurant down stairs was very nice. All I can say is Thank you thank you Ashley for making this such an enjoyable stay! If you’re thinking about staying you won’t regret it!

The service is excellent. Chris was so helpful and friendly, as was everyone else at the hotel. It's a busy place but close to many major attractions and the room was quiet. Thank you for making my stay in New York so comfortable.

Clean rooms. Central location downtown to Penn Station and the MOST UNIQUE employees. The rooms were kept clean and stocked with towels, and the front desk staff always said hello as we entered and returned from our daily adventures. Wellington and Chris are top notch and deserve promotion. Thank you very much for making our stay wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Very nice hotel in a very nice quiet location. The air conditioner in my room was a little loud, but it wasn't a problem. It will be even better when they finish the lobby restaurant. Soundproofing between rooms was adequate. I've been near the elevators but never heard them in the room. Very good shower and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and quality linens.

From start to finish, my stay here was exceptional. The customer service there is top notch. I have to thank Andrew for his pleasant demeanor when we first arrived, although we only interacted for a short period, he made it clear that you all that mattered at the moment was excellent customer service. Then there is Christ, he was like your personal concierge, when I say great service I mean it. He gave absolutely great tips on where to eat and both places we went to were amazing. You guys made our stay special. The room we are nice and clean, I couldn't ask for anything. This will definitely be my choice when traveling to New York.
