The corner of the property there is a very fun bar. It’s an old Irish bar that has historical background called the ear inn. it’s a super fun bar, nice food and really pleasant workers as well as clientele. There is a deli next-door which is 24 hours and it’s very convenient for those late night snacks as well as morning hydration and daily needs. The area for this hotel is extremely walkable at six blocks to the village and really great restaurants and healthier options are within blocks of the hotel. I actually look forward to going back there hopefully this month if not, I’ll look it back there at least a few more times before the end of the year.
Good little hotel. Be sure to ask them to put you away from the elevator. Walls are paper thin
Upon checking in the staff was very friendly and the check in process was seamless however the amenities and bathroom was not as nice as pictured. The water pressure in our shower head was awful. The nozzles were so gross they were not coming out straight.
- I got locked out of my room on the 2nd day as my door lock was malfunctioning
- It took the staff over an hour to get me back into my room and i was promised an upgrade (better room and one of the top floors) as an apology for the issue
- The next day, I got moved to the *SAME ROOM* two floors up. Completely different from the upgrade i was promised. The room had no toilet paper and had plumbing issues (which to be fair got fixed very quickly)
- Few days later i got locked out of my room again after a portion of my booking disappeared from the hotel’s system. Once again, it took 45+ minutes to fix, and i had to put back a deposit again, got another invoice, etc
All of that made for a very unpleasant, random, and tiring experience. The hotel itself is decent for the price, but considering my experience, i wouldn’t ever book there again, and recommend not to book there!
