I usually never leave reviews but I honestly liked this hotel so much that I actually wanted to write one. I stayed here for two weeks when I came to NY for a work trip, and felt completely comfortable the entire time. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference especially during a longer stay. Just to note, I stayed in a larger room with a king bed, which was super spacious and comfortable. I’m not sure what the smaller rooms are like size-wise, but I had a great experience
The location is perfect—tucked away in a quieter part of the city, so I was actually able to get good sleep (rare for NYC), but still super central and close to everything I needed. I really don’t have anything negative thing to say. Highly recommend, and would absolutely stay here again.

I am a native New Yorker coming back home for work and to see family. Although I’ve always known 70 Park was here for some reason I thought it was a residential building. After booking and coming down the street- I felt like I had “come home”. The gentlemen at the door were welcoming and the ladies at the front desk were accommodating and friendly. New Yorkers are hospitable and helpful, and know how to make you feel like “family”- at 70 Park Hotel- they have the best of the lot working here. Centrally located to everything and a slice of “home”.

The hotel is very nice, with lovely and welcoming staff who made the stay enjoyable. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Unfortunately, there are no coffee machines available in the rooms or the lobby, which could be inconvenient for guests who enjoy their morning coffee. Additionally, breakfast is not provided, though this seems to be part of a broader issue affecting the nation. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was pleasant.

The staff was fantastic. So friendly. Easy to work with for credit card authorizations. Felt like a boutique hotel, not a chain hotel. The building is older and a few blocks south of Grand Central. It has typical New York-sized rooms. The decor is classy, and I appreciate a large desk with good lighting. It was less noisy than the hotels in the Time Square area. Abundant dining options within 4 blocks.

Not worth the high price I have paid, not a luxury hotel at all. No amenity kits provided. Not perfectly clean either, carpets are stained and dusty, some corners are rusty/rotting. Still nice, still a place to sleep but not worth the price (same level as premier inn/holiday inn). I did get a good view from my room.

The room was smaller than expected, but it was enough for me to stay alone.
I think it would have been better if the ice machine and water purifier were in the same location (located on the 2nd floor and the first basement level, respectively).
