The Mandarin Oriental in New York is the prettiest one among them. For example, the other ones like the one in Milan are all small houses. The old New York one is a high-rise glass box. The windows of the newer buildings are facing the Hudson River, which is very beautiful. The rooms are not big, but the design is good. It is next to Central Park, so the transportation is convenient.

Excellent location, you can go running, shopping and eating when you go out
Environment: Right next to Central Park, there is a big shopping mall downstairs. You can walk to Fifth Avenue in a few steps, and there are many Internet celebrity restaurants. The point is that you can go to Central Park for a run as soon as you go out, which is very convenient. The view of the room faces the Hudson River, and the scenery is very chill.
Facilities: The room is very large in a place like New York. The facilities are complete. But the bed is a bit soft, I don’t like it very much.
Gym: Although the gym is well-equipped, it is still too small for Mandarin. And I really can’t accept that I have to wait for the staff to open the door when I go to the gym at night. Why is it not a 24-hour gym? I really can’t understand it.
Others are pretty good. For this location, I will still stay here when I come to New York in the future.

I originally chose Mandarin Oriental New York because I am a member of Mandarin Oriental, but I was disappointed. It is much different from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong, both in terms of facilities and services. Apart from the fact that the price is more than 50% more expensive than the surrounding five-star hotels, the Mandarin Oriental in New York has no other attractive features. I will not stay at the Mandarin Oriental again next time I come to New York.

After all, it's a new high-rise building, the location is OK, but the air conditioning temperature can't be adjusted high. I asked a worker to fix it. One room was fixed, but the other one was not fixed. It was still quite cold at night.

I am very satisfied with this hotel, nothing to say about it, from the environment to the service to the location. It is very convenient to go downstairs for shopping and dining!

Service was excellent befitting of a five star hotel. The letdown was breakfast service. There was a clear lack of staff in the dining room and an average menu.

The building has a sense of history, and the interior of the room is okay, not too old. The central park view room type is simply awesome, directly overlooking the autumn scenery of the entire Central Park.
