The vibe of the hotel is great, the facilities are modern and clean, and overall it just felt like the perfect place to stay. Honestly, 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back!
I was there celebrating my birthday so they made accommodations providing a room upgrade with a city view and a few free drinks.
When checking in staff were friendly and attentive. They’re pretty good with luggage hold too so feel free to arrive early and hold until check in.
If there’s availability the morning of your check out you can extend the time from 11am to 12pm.
Breakfast - you order from the table vs buffet style which is nice. Had the breakfast sandwhich which was okay, good for the price.
All in all decent stay.
We had an issue with our aircon, and the team worked to resolve it and compensated us fairly.
They charge a fee (similar to a resort fee, but I don't think they called it that) that could be used as credit in the bar/restaurant. This was handy for breakfasts before we headed out for a busy day.
I would recommend this hotel to others, and I would definitely stay again.
The entire stay was paid for on Trip.com, only the super-ominous "destination fee" was due.
When you arrive at the hotel, you are immediately overwhelmed by the "reception". A table in a 10 square meter anteroom in front of the elevators. Because the reception staff are extremely slow (with explanations of what other fees they charge, what you can use this "destination fee" for (e.g. renting a bike, in November :-D ). That's why there are so many people waiting there that you can hardly get into the elevator. Ridiculous.
When you finally get to your room, it's OK, not much to complain about.
However, the hotel blocked over $600 "pending" on my credit card for 3 nights and when I asked what that was about, no one could really explain it, they just said "as long as it is pending, I wouldn't worry". Well, after checking out, $485 was changed from "pending" to "debited". The hotel is unreachable, you can only call a +1 American number, but I don't feel like doing that, it will cost me several euros in phone charges. Trip.com chat took me hours, but they bite at the hotel also on granite. I have been waiting 34 days for 485 US$.
