Pod Times Square

Was looking for a budget, close to times square place to stay for a night and found Pod. Went through the photos before booking and kept the expectations accordingly.
Checked through booking websites but got a great deal from directly calling them.
The staffs were great and they allowed for an early check in. The rooms were very small but it was super super clean. Also, the washroom too, small and super clean. The beds have TV attached. A small balcony was also there. All included in a small space.

Personally was super satisfied!! Great for a short stay. Highlight was the cleanliness of the room.

Love love loooooooooved staying here! I visited Manhattan for 6 days this past week, and I booked pod because it was the best location for the best price. I was prepared for it to be quite average, but it exceeded all my expectations!
The rooms are small, yes, but if you're in Manhattan, you're likely only in your room to sleep at the end of the night. The room was super clean, and very well sound proofed so we didn't hear any street noise.
Housekeeping is on request, so we signed up every few days for servicing the next morning and always came back to a lovely room. Pod is also in an excellent location, very close to all the main tourist attractions.
I would recommend pod times square to everyone and Will definitely stay here next time I am in New York!

A very good location for a first visit of New York. Near the Subway (2 min) and Time Square (5 min) with a gym at the higher floor. The room is pretty small but very functional, you don't really need more. We were not bothered by any noise during our stay (we were located at the 15th floor). The hotel staff was very nice and there is a luggage storage service (you pay them through tips but no minimum amount is requested). This hotel is among (if not) the cheapest in this area with very decent cleaning and services. Also, the building is pretty modern. We would definitely recommend it !

Rooms were clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller, there definitely was more than enough space. Toilets were clean and fittings top notch.

Hotel is well located. Very easy to get to the train station.

Hotel was good value. Snagged a room at around US$150/night. There’s a resort fee charged at check in.

Nestled a breezy 15-minute from the heart of Times Square lies this snug little sanctuary, an oasis of calm that seems almost too good to be true. It's the kind of place that whispers rather than shouts, perfect for those of us who prefer a rest-and-go lifestyle over the constant hustle. Walking into the hotel, you might feel a slight disconnect at the front desk—service there sometimes misses the mark, lacking the warmth or efficiency you might hope for in such a welcoming space. It's a bit like expecting a hug and getting a handshake instead. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. Once you get past the check-in, though, the hotel unfolds like a well-kept secret. The amenities? Solid. They've clearly put thought into what matters for a comfortable stay, and it shows. The quality of the units stands out, boasting a level above what you might expect at this cozy corner of the city. It’s the kind of place where the pillows seem to cradle your head just right, and the beds... oh, the beds are a dreamy escape after a day of urban adventures. But, and there's always a but, don't expect to find a refrigerator, coffee maker, or complimentary water waiting for you. It seems they've opted for simplicity over extravagance, which, depending on your travel style, can either be a refreshing change or a slight inconvenience. It nudges you out the door in the morning, perhaps to explore the local cafes rather than staying in.

+ The location is really awesome: 5-7 minutes by foot to the Times Square, however, the lights from it doesn't bother you at all. You will have 2-3 metro stations nearby, but you can easily walk to most of the landmarks by foot. There are some grocery stores and delis nearby. The room is pretty modern and comfortable, if you travel alone. However, it doesn't have much space & you won't have a good rest if you travel with your partner. The bathroom was clean and nice. The bed was okay, but I would recommend you to take the earplugs and sleep mask with you, cause the window is super close to the bed.

We stayed for 7 nights and loved this hotel. Location was perfect for access to the theatres and the hotel was very clean. Our room had bunk beds which worked out great for my daughter and I to feel like we had a bit of privacy in the room. Bathroom is small but very well designed and the shower was very spacious. We dined at the hotel restaurant one night and the steak dinner was amazing and worth every penny. The hotel felt very safe and required a keycard to access only your floor.

I ended up getting in really late, much later than I expected for my stay. The front desk was so nice and pleasant, even tho it was super late. Turned out I had accidentally booked my stay 1 day in advance the whole trip. They were able to fix it super quick and had me in my room in under 10 minutes. Check out was a quick breeze and i loved my room. It was the perfect amount for one person and honestly felt spacious for just me. I'm recommending this place to all my friends, especially for solo female traveling alone.

This place hits the mark perfectly. Their system works well because it's exactly as minimal as it has to be. Everything is clean and in good condition. Elevators are fast. The rooms are small but laid out efficiently. Well done!

TINY ROOMS but very stylish!! Perfect location and nice hotel. Get a QUEEN BEDROOM it's larger and great views!! Very nice hotel and quiet. I hear the bunk bed rooms are tiny so get the queen

If you're on a budget and looking for something simple, The Pod is perfect. The beds are comfortable in both the bunk and full sized rooms, and the bathrooms are nice and stocked with nice toiletries! The floor-to-ceiling window is a huge bonus as well. I love the location and have not had any issues in either of my stays at The Pod.
