First time in NYC. This hotel is great. Great location. Very nice rooms. Nicholas who checked us in was absolutely superb . Newt was also. My wife said she was very impressed with them. Yeah the noise is there. But the bed and pillows will let you forget about that.

This is a great hotel in the midst of all the Times Square and Broadway action. The hotel and rooms are modern and beautifully decorated. I travel to NYC often and I’ve found in many long standing hotels that the bathrooms especially do not get updated which is not the case at all at the W. I was thrilled! The staff is excellent in all of the roles I encountered. They offered us a great group rate for our business trip and I will definitely use them again for business or a personal trip.

The view from our room was awesome. The staff was fantastic. The gym was great. I never wanted to go to New York but after staying here I really didn't want to leave

We recently stayed at the W Hotel in New York, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The customer service was terrible , with staff members showing a complete lack of interest in assisting guests. The so-called "spectacular" view room we booked turned out to be a corner room facing the back of the Times Square billboards, providing a dismal and disappointing view.
To make matters worse, the room had terrible sound insulation. The constant noise from the billboards cooling system was easily audible, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. It felt like we were trying to sleep next to a jet engine.
On top of all this, we were hit with an unexpected extra room service charge. This charge wasn't explained to us at all and was supposedly included in the price we had already paid to Virgin Holidays, making the situation even more confusing and frustrating.
Overall, our stay at W Hotel New York was a disaster. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in the city. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay.

Nice hotel. Great location (if you want to be in the middle of Times Square). Wonderful staff. The elevator doors close too quickly. Inconvenient and perhaps dangerous. The bathrooms are well-designed but poorly engineered. You shouldn't have to get wet to turn on the shower. Every employee we interacted with was wonderful.

Be sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any hotel. This site compares hundreds of booking sites and usually offers rooms much cheaper than others! Please :)! This place is one of the most famous in the area. I've lived here for many years. If you decide to stay here, you definitely won't regret it. Very clean rooms. The bed is very comfortable and the staff is very helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for one night. Service was really great. I had a red eye and arrived at 9 am with sleepy eyes. The room was available so they let me check in!! I could have kissed the gal that was checking me in I was so happy. I had a great room with a view. It was small, but that is typical for NY living, right? Very clean with a comfy bed. The only somewhat negative thing I would say was how dirty the windows were. It did take away from the awesome view just a bit. The location is just about as good as it gets, right in the heart of Times Square. I saw 2 shows. One at the The Booth Theatre and the other at Brooks Theater. Both were just minutes away from the door step. Side note: They give you a $20 bar credit and a $20 laundry credit to make up for those pesky fees hotels charge these days. I thought that was nice. I will most definitely consider another stay here next time I am in town.

Amazing room. Great location. Hotel staff were pleasant (when compared to other New Yorkers). Nye party - impossible to get a drink, couldn't move, made you go outside of the hotel in below zero to redeem the ticket
