Met a new friend there for a late afternoon snack and was pleasantly surprised. Great service even though it was packed, unexpectedly gorgeous dining room, cutest little teacups and eclectic menu to match ! Ended up munching on guacamole and tea. Planning to try their brunch and high tea in the skylight room! Stylish and relaxing place.

Great place to stay in NYC and fabulous place for afternoon tea. Great deserts and sandwiches. A really nice treat from the hectic pace of NYC.

Hotel Whitt is always my top choice whenever I visit New York! From the moment you step in, the staff make you feel right at home with their warm hospitality. The rooms are cozy, modern, and always spotless, providing a perfect retreat after a busy day in the city. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to all the major attractions. I love the attention to detail and the calm ambiance throughout the hotel. Every stay here is a great experience, and I look forward to coming back each time!

My daughter and I just stayed for five nights at the Whitby. The decor is phenomenal and the rooms are exceptionally quiet. Our room was immaculate. The bed was extremely firm.
Staff are friendly and eager to help. I did find the fact that nobody greeted us upon arrival to help with bags and the heavy door disappointing.
The location cannot be beat! We walked to the Met, Guggenheim, Central Park, Times Square and SoHo. Very easy stroll to Broadway plays. There is little need for Ubers or taxis if staying at this location.
Overall a great experience.

Loved staying at this hotel. First stayed at the Ham Yard Hotel in London, and decided to give Firmdale’s NYC hotel a try. Did not disappoint. The hotel is central yet tucked away enough that it is quiet and feels like a retreat from the busy-ness of the city. Rooms were very clean, the design and decor of the room and the entire hotel exuded a quiet luxury which I really enjoyed. Will definitely come back.

I love the atmosphere of this place and have been many times over the last 16 months. The food is also excellent and the prices are reasonable since the hotel is close to 5th Avenue in the city center. They also have an authentic British afternoon tea. Highly recommend.

This is the only hotel I like to visit because of the atmosphere. It's very relaxing and makes you feel at home. This hotel is highly recommended because it relieves stress! Plus their prices are very reasonable!

We spent the weekend at this wonderful hotel. Great location, very clean and first class service! We had an amazing room with a wonderful view on the 15th floor. We will definitely be back ♥️🍏🗽
