Hyatt Regency Sacramento
Sacramento, 1209 L Street 🧭 Map
This hotel could easily be rated with five stars but we had a couple of issues: a bathroom door that would not close and being served room service food in paper bags with plastic picnic utensils (also one dish was cold and one was incomplete). With two restaurants and a bar fully open, there is no longer any excuse for doing room service the way it was done during the pandemic. The food and service...
Went here for a conference, staff are very nice, help facilitate the event, very professional and artistic ambiance. Food places near by to eat if you don't want the Cafe. Great environment for learning! Also the room was cozy, beds very comfortable but bring your own pillow if you like firm pillows. Pillows are very soft.
A decent stay at the Hyatt Sacramento. Service was great. Vines restaurant was surprisingly fantastic. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Good views of the capital. Fitness center is connected to the hotel but you have to go outside to access. The wifi needs some significant improvement as it continually dropped throughout my stay. Great location near the capitol building.
Great ammenities while we were here for an annual banquet. Service staff is nice, attentive and delicious food. Never an issue when we come here and clean restrooms are a plus. Space is great for large company parties as they accommodate and decorate and allow for special functions. I would say the hall speaker system could be updated as the volume was low and somewhat muffled.
The Hyatt Regency Sacramento is a modern multi-story hotel. The rooms are average sized with two chairs. The beds are comfortable. Only two small drawers are provided. There is a room safe, ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Lots of electrical outlets are provided at bedside. The bathroom is small with no place to hang a cosmetic travel bag. Incidentally, if you pick up one of the cute, expensive...
I've been here so many times--almost always perfect--and even if not perfect they fix it immediately. Great service. Good food. And the location is good for downtown things: the Capitol, Kings… My favorite hotel in Sacramento.

It was a great place to lay my head down after a long travel day. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good. The location is close to the highway, so you can hear the noise.
THE VIEW FROM THE NINTH FLOOR WAS GREAT!!!, THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. NINTH FLOOR I FELT SPEICAL. VERY MUCH SO. IT"S CLEAN AND COZY. I RECOMMEND YOU GIVE IT A TRY. ALSO, VANS THAT CAN TAKE YOU TO THE MALL OR AIRPORT. YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME.
Facility is very pleasant. Rooms are nice but are dated in appearance. They look like a well cared for grandparents home. Rooms are small and can use an update. With that said, do not let this deter you from staying here. Overall, I would stay here any day.
The hotel is very nice and well kept, staff is friendly and helpful. Conference rooms were a great size and we had everything we needed. When we experienced tech issues we were helped right away. I had the Caesar salmon salad, the salad was delicious. The restaurant and bar inside came in handy as the hotel isn't near much. The shower water did not get hot, lukewarm at best, the phone in the room...
This hotel was spotless, the food extremely delicious, the room comfortable, the pool pristine, and the amenities amazing. But my favorite part of my stay was the graciousness and friendliness of EVERY staff member that I encountered. I did not encounter one staff member who didn't greet me with a smile, accommodated my needs, and just wanted me to have a nice stay.
Easy to get to off of the freeway, close yo the Arden fair mall, and good food nearby. Very nice staff members. The Starbucks located inside makes great coffee!

It's just a hotel tbh. Nothing spectacular and nothing really negative. The fourth star goes to the staff, they were either really friendly or at least good at pretending.
The room was dusty. I was close to the elevator and that thing was incredibly loud, but not as loud as the a/c, had to cut it off to sleep. The street noise was strangely loud too, despite the small window and high floor. I didn...
I've stayed here at the Citizen many times over the past several years. Before I moved to Sacramento, I would visit for weekend trips with friends or my significant other and almost always stayed here. There's something really fun and interesting about the historical and political theme of the hotel that I'm drawn to. The service I've received has always been stellar and accommodating. The rooms themselves...
Very nice hotel. The room was small, but that is to be expected in a building that was built in the early 1900s. The room was well furnished, had a comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and we had a great view of the park. The staff that worked at the reception desk as well as at the valet were very polite and welcoming. The parking was a little hard at first because we were looking for a parking lot...
Had an excellent stay. The place is super cool and has an old school classy appearance. Rooms were nice and everyone that worked there was also. Definitely would return. Grange has legit food and some great house cocktails. Very good bartenders there also.
Staff were great and helped me out leading up to the California marathon, including taking my pre-prepared food to their staff room to heat up. Lobby was nice and done up for Christmas. The hotel is walking distance to most of downtown and Old Sacramento, but there were some strange characters in the area. Rooms were clean, quiet and modern. Perhaps a little on the small side and my room only had small...
Here’s the thing… The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are great. I love the atmosphere inside. However, I have stayed here a few times now and have never once been able to sleep until about 3 AM. The windows in the rooms are far from sound proof and unfortunately the location of this hotel is next to a very busy park an extremely trashy night club. I had to put my TV on to drown out the sound...

That is amazing pretty much everything about high-end hotel. Everything at the beginning of a check-in process all through the checkout process was amazing. Room was so clean without any dust. Happy hour service with them. Drinks were also pretty good. One thing of my concern is parking, it is not included in hotel stay at this my case. Other than the parking stuff everything was perfect. Thank you
My son, daughter, and I just stayed one night at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in Sacramento. We stayed in a 2 Queen Premium Room with the Golden 1 Center View. The hotel was luxurious, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
I sent a message to the hotel ahead of time to tell them that we were celebrating my son’s birthday and ask if they do anything special for...
We have stayed her several times for a staycation. We love it so much that this is where our proposal happened with the help of the amazing staff! Each time that we return, we are never disappointed. Both the regular rooms and the suits are amazing. The 1 bedroom suite has the huge soaking bath tub in the shower which is super nice. The beds are always comfortable. The sockets to plug in next to the...
The hotel has a few restaurants within and a lot of other restaurants and entertainment facilities are within walking distance. It is also located in an area that can be accessed via public transportation.
All the staff from the valet to the reception seemed friendly.
The rooms are very spacious with large closets. However, housekeeping could do a better job cleaning.
My boyfriend & I stayed at the Kimpton Sawyer this past weekend after attending a concert at Golden 1 Center. With it being the beginning of December, the lobby was decked out in holiday decor, which made it feel really special. The service here is top notch, from valet to check-in to breakfast room service, every touch point felt first class.
There were a few pain points (room 602) should Kimpton...
I think this is the best hotel in Sacramento and the greater area. The hospitality of the front desk and valet team was unmatched, almost felt like I was back in the Midwest! So close to everything with beautiful rooms and views of the downtown area. The bathrooms are gorgeous and very spacious. I didn't rate location because I'm not sure how to rate that. It was great for my very specific needs... The hotel is very comfortable - apartment-like setting. Big, clean, well updated rooms. The staff was great.
I booked this hotel as I was in town and needed a place to stop and do some work. The booking was quick and easy. Check in was fast! The room was clean and tidy! the AC worked, which was great because it was really hot yesterday! overall great experience!
Location is very discreet off in a corner. The room was simple but nice and very clean. There is a pool, jacuzzi, gym, and basketball court on location. Breakfast is free. There is also a small area that serves food after 4pm and a bar. It seemed like thay had everything I needed in this on place. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent place! Awesome staff - polite and efficient and friendly! Judy, who does the weekday breakfast is THE BEST! She keeps everything stocked and asks us if we need anything else. Despite the area NOT being the greatest, inside these hotel walls is luxury. Rooms are clean, staff very polite and professional. Complimentary breakfast is simple but good. Free parking
The hotel is a well-kept, older facility. The rooms are priced accordingly and hard to beat. The staff are friendly and we felt welcome there. We needed an airport shuttle. We left at the time requested. The driver was very friendly and got us there in time. We will stay there again when in the area.
I was traveling on the 4th of July so I wasn't expecting to get much sleep, but I didn't hear one firecracker and slept great. I decided to start breaking away from the chain motels and I'm so glad I chose to start here. I didn't have a reservation but I think I got the nicest room in the entire hotel. The staff was fun to talk to as well. I'm looking forward to staying here many times in the future
My siblings and I visited relatives who live in Elk Grove and the Governors Inn Hotel was the ideal spot for our two-night stay. The accommodations were top-notch from the courteous and attentive staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the continental breakfast provided to hotel guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book with this hotel again.
The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and rooms were nice, comfortable and well kept. Area was not the greatest but they provided a shuttle to the convention center every day. Parking was plentiful and lot was well lit. Pool was cold(not heated) but the spa was very nice after a long day at the conference! Thank you Governors Inn for your hospitality and we will be back!
Clean hotel, pleasent staff. Wifi was solid and fast. The hotel itself is good, but the surrounding neighborhood seems a little sketchy. McDonald's is right next door and you can walk to Denny's right accross the street. The hotel's room service prices were astronomical, even by room service standards.

Was surprised! I thought it was gonna be a cheesy hotel. The name and sign did not give me confidence while booking, but my experience changed quickly. Super friendly attentive staff. I really like the beds in the rooms look real nice. The bathroom is also nice. My only complaint is that the lighting is a little bit too dim and you can hear the PA announcements from the lot next door. They start happening early in the morning. Maybe the room's closer to the office are better. If you have to get up early for something that's no big deal.
This hotel is great! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are nice and clean, and the bathroom is well stocked. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond. This Hotel is an amazing place to stay for one night or for a little City get away. It's rooms are always clean and well stocked with towels, refrigerator with freezer. They have a beautiful salt water pool and hot tub open year round. It is very well maintained and always clean.
I read a mix of reviews about this place but I liked the management responses to the reviews so we decided to give this place a try. I'm VERY glad we did! Parking was easy, free and plentiful. Couldn't be happier with my visit here. Kyle and Lily are the best. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are clean and the staff is welcoming. There's a ton of walkable nightlife, short Uber to downtown, but the best thing is returning to a nice quiet hotel on a Friday night. For the price and the quality I'll definitely be back.

This hotel was within walking distance of downtown area that had many good eating establishments. The hotel itself was generally clean, staff was friendly, and they offered a free continental breakfast. Overall, not a bad stay for the price paid.

Friendly front desk staff, nice outdoor pool, and clean rooms. The halls are quite loud and there appeared to be a rowdy group either in the room next to us or across the way. The competition for hotels is pretty serious in Sacramento, and many are disgusting, especially downtown. I've found staying at this location to have its advantages to my benefit.
You need to make your reservations early if you know you're going to stay in the area because the third-party booking sites will overbook this location. Make sure you use the company's original...
Been shopping for apartments and going between models, this was the nicest one we've stayed at in the area BY FAR. 24/7 coffee available, really quiet and comfortable space, great location, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Clean, renovated rooms with great beds. The hotel is set away from the freeway and our room at the end of the hall was quiet so we slept well. They have a good variety of foods with some healthy choices for breakfast. You'll need a car or good bike to explore outside the hotel.
Room was in perfect condition when I arrivedHad a wall between the beds and desk/couch area, which was useful as I was going to sleep as the individual who stayed with me needed to work on their laptop. Staff was friendly and gave me a bagged breakfast (bagel and yogurt) for my early flight back home. I'm pleased with my stay.

Staying here quarterly for the last several years I have grown to truly appreciate the staff loyalty of this franchise-owned location. They carry the Marriott Family's idea of quality and service forward seamlessly! Thanks for that!
I have been staying at this hotel on and off for over 10 years. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfortable. There are three Marriott hotels here and they are all nice. Been here before and wasn't happy...but had to stay due to price and was shocked when we got our room. The room was very nice and it was actually really quiet during our stay and the maid made sure to check if we needed towels this time. I think my last review got under their skin!

This wasn't too bad of a hotel to stay in. I stayed here a few weeks ago on my way home from my trip. The room was OK, not a very comfy bed. It was sort of hard. The bathroom...

Sacramento, 1000 Front Street 🧭 Map
We had decided to stay here because of its proximity to the Golden One center for a concert we were going to. We were not disappointed! The valet parking was quick and easy, checking in was painless, and the rooms were great! It has such a fun and unique feel to it. We loved every part of staying here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view of the river. And the price was...
The room was a bit small but still fun to stay on an old paddle boat. I think it's haunted too. Yes, the noise on the weekends is a bit loud. Lots of partiers and seals howling. I would still highly recommend staying here. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Beautiful sunset and river.
A Delicious Dinner on the Delta King
The Delta King in Sacramento delivered a truly memorable dining experience. The restaurant's historic setting on a docked paddlewheel steamer provided a unique and charming atmosphere. But it wasn't just the ambiance that impressed; the food and service were exceptional.
Our waiter James Fitzgerald was incredibly attentive and accommodating, making sure my friend...
The Delta King itself was a beautifully renovated historic boat, and well kept. The staff were all very kind, helpful and professional. The bar and restaurant were very good. Morning coffee on the deck for sunrise was very nice. The room is small but charming with antique hardware and had everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay on the boat. Valet could use an extra person. I did not really care for...
The rooms are very small, but they are clean.
Historically, it's very nice. This boat has seen an extraordinary existence.
Food is very good here, surprisingly.
Staff and bartenders were very nice, helpful, and accommodating.
Nice location, next to Old Sacramento. Lots of stores and places to eat.
Would recommend to friends and family.
I love this place I go at least once a year the food is good and reasonable price. The best part is the people at the front desk are always willing to help you make accommodations and I love that about this place we have great employee. Tammy M Diaz
