The only real down side of this hotel is that it is not located closer to the cable car. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Pool and jacuzzi area nice with a well equipped gym. Can wait for bar staff to appear. The biggest disappointment is the food. Everything is pretty much cold, including the soup, which is generally watery with little taste. Only a couple of flaws , the shuttle bus to the gondola is a bit stressful as everyone wants to leave and go home at the same time which lead to a few altercations in the queue during the week (the bus only holds about 12 to 14 people). Superb hotel, located at the bottom of Esquirrel blue run and opposite the chair lift to El Tarter. This place is great. It is two ski lifts just outside the door. There are ski lookers in the basement. Super convenient. It has a spa with a sauna, a jacuzzi and a decent sized pool. The staff is always helpful and nice and speaks a bunch of languages. The family rooms are not the cosies, but comfortable beds. There is a large lounge to hang out in also. We stayed for a week in a twin room. All the staff have been brilliant and it’s a great place for a skiing trip. Access to the slopes is just outside the hotel. They have lockers for your ski gear. They can arrange your lift pass. I would definitely come again.

We stayed a Friday night with our two children of 6 and 8 in a family room on the second floor. The second floor is also the location of the bar, which had loud music till midnight, not ideal when you have young kids or even if you wish to go to sleep before midnight. Sara the spa Manageress is so lovely, knowledgable & helpful. My Husband & I spent a wonderful late morning relaxing in the fantastic spa facilities. Well kept property with super helpful staff.

We stayed here over New Year's in the "Penthouse Suite" Our room was very nice and the staff and service is second to none. The New Year's dinner in the restaurant was fun. Great location with plenty of activities. I would definitely stay here again.

An exquisite service, the new concept of the Bruna restaurant is spectacular, with an incredibly complete wine list... and the attention given to children, both in the kids' club and the S room, is priceless. The ski slope next door offers lots of fun and entertainment for the kids.

Overall it's ok. Comfortable and the staff is quite nice. The meals served could have a little bit more variety but I'd say the only really negative feature is the internet. If like me you want to get some work done and need a stable connection.. Well.. Forget about it. Just go enjoy the snow and hope you still have your job when back home :)

Staff were very friendly. Food lacked variety for example no vegetables or rice to accompany the meat. No lettuce or tomatoes to accompany the salad.

Late summer 2017, Coach Tour of Andorra, Hotel Nordic was the Best bit & Fantastic. Staff were helpful and understanding. All rooms have a balcony and our view was stunning. Regular buses to the capital and attractions. Cannilo, caught the ski lift to the ski village, no snow but plenty to keep you interested.

Great apartment, especially for the price. We had a really spacious apartment for 4 persons with an incredible nice view on the mountains. Service was really nice too. They called before our stay to check if we wanted to book the ski passes for a better price and at arrival the lady at the reception was really nice and helpful. It's very nice in a basic needs way. Great size for two people or 2+small child. No frills. Incredible hot water and pressure😎always a plus after a day of hiking and shopping. The small town it's situated in is quaint and pretty in that rustic mountain way.

Just returned from a fabulous ski holiday at Hotel Galanthus. All the staff were so friendly - from reception, restaurant to the guy who drives the shuttle bus to the gondola every day. We had another great stay at the Piolets Soldeu Centre. Since the refurbishment, the rooms are very nice and the hotel is our favourite place to stay in Soldeu which we visit 3 or 4 times a year. All the staff are courteous and helpful. Special mention must go to Cesar and Lorena, the bar staff. They were very friendly and gave excellent service.

Lovely last minute stay. Woman at front desk and the manager were both extremely helpful and spoke English very well which I appreciated. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I return to Andorra. They had a restaurant with a buffet but we didn’t eat there.

Couldn't have chosen a better hotel for our 7 night stay. The position is amazing-just a short walk to ski lifts and the bus stop is across the road. Hotel Piolets is amazing. We had a triple room with balcony facing the slopes. Room was large and well appointed. The staff at this hotel are beyond fantastic. Every need is met with kindness and professionalism. The spa is super and well deserved after a days skiing. It isn’t busy in the spa and you can swim on the pool watching the gondala go up and down and the black run skiers race down. Lovely...

This is a good place to stay while skiing. A gentle walk of about 150m to the gondola. The hotel has spacious ski locker room, although there is another at the gondola (€55 for 6 days!). Food here is fine with plenty of choice. Staff friendly.

Lovely hotel, lovely rooms, lovely food, very close to gondola and ski hire. The only issue was that we ordered a vegetarian picnic for the homeward journey and it didn't materialise. We were told to let reception know any dietary requirements, so I gave them a sheet with room number, name and a request for vegetarian food.

The only caveat is it’s distance from Andorra La Vella (the city centre), but the staff will happily provide you with the private shuttle service. Hotel with an excellent location when you come to ski! At the foot of the gondola where there are also 2 ski equipment rental companies. Hotel well located, but aging. We spent a week there. BE CAREFUL during hot periods (summer): no air conditioning, it is very hot in the attic rooms for the family rooms, on the 3rd floor! intolerable ! A stone's throw from France, the staff does not speak French, and does not make the effort! Most of the staff are friendly, but at breakfast it's hard to get a smile! And the end time is the end time...

Let's keep it simple with a pros and cons review! Pros: cheaper than many other hotel considering position and season (ski season), free ski lockers, 30mt from gondolas (cable car), big, varied and tasty breakfast, nice mountain hotel-like mood with a nice hall with fireplace, pool table books and bar. Personally I dind't mind the fact that the hotel was basically NEVER renewed to modern standards...

It is becoming rare to find a good address like this for a family with children. We were warmly welcomed throughout the week of our ski vacation. The owners were very attentive to our various requests and did everything they could to meet them. I cannot thank them enough for their support when my vehicle broke down. They reacted as if I were a member of their family. We will come back next winter....

Nice aparthotel. The two bedroom apartment is really cosy, with ample shared space comprising a living room, kitchen and dining room. The bathroom is large and has a nice shower. Beds are comfortable, although they don't have light tables.

Super friendly place with small studios and ski lockers, very well situated right in Canillo.
