What most impressed me about the hotel is the quality of the food. I have had dinner in 5 star hotels that was not as good. It is a buffet dinner, we. had it for a whole week and were never bored. Surprising quality and a variety of food. Same goes for breakfast even though expectedly there was less variety there. One reservation is that we were there on a very empty week, off season, I'm not sure the buffet dinner would be as nice when the place is full.
The hotel has a great SPA with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (kids loved it), the bar has a good atmosphere and some pool tables and foosball.
The staff are incredibly helpful in every way, particularly the shuttle service is very efficient & quick. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet holiday or a family holiday. We are currently staying in room 226 with views of the main hotel & the river, & our 4 children are thrilled to be straight opposite our room in 225 with a fantastic, unobstructed view of the mountain.
