Bless the chef, he tried his best with my vegetarian diet, as most of the evening meal dishes laid out had meat in, but layering pizza with extra cheese just creates a sickening mess with hot raw onion inside....I really wanted to go into the kitchen and educate him in how to cook a simple pizza or an easy vegetarian option meal but just lost the heart.
Best place to eat in Soldeu is a cafe next door to the Harp....if you are vegetarian. They got it right first time. Good simple honest food.
Breakfast in this hotel is simple and straightforward....usual continental affair.
But I would suggest the hotel add another coffee machine....massive queues for a hot morning beverage.
Would I stay again? Maybe at a push but would not be paying for an evening meal although as it is a cheap stay please bypass that option use the place as a base and eat out in the evening.
