Good location, nice staff, nice big room with a lot of storage space, bus stop right in front of the hotel, lifts, price.

Overall it's ok. Comfortable and the staff is quite nice. The meals served could have a little bit more variety but I'd say the only really negative feature is the internet. If like me you want to get some work done and need a stable connection.. Well.. Forget about it. Just go enjoy the snow and hope you still have your job when back home :)

OK the place is cheap, but clean, staff are excellent and friendly. The food? Worst ever in any hotel I have stayed in. Bless the chef, he tried his best with my vegetarian diet, as most of the evening meal dishes laid out had meat in, but layering pizza with extra cheese just creates a sickening mess with hot raw onion inside....I really wanted to go into the kitchen and educate him in how to cook...

Staff were very friendly. Food lacked variety for example no vegetables or rice to accompany the meat. No lettuce or tomatoes to accompany the salad.

We’ve just had a great week here. Laura and her team are so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is comfy, warm and not too big so it has a ‘home from home’ atmosphere. Known this hotel for many years and it was very dated. It’s been amazingly transformed to the most stunning hotel. The decor is beautiful throughout the hotel but our room a Superior mountain view was gorgeous. We found it hard to leave our amazing bed with a fabulous view of the slopes and luxurious soft furnishings. Loved being in the shower with a view of the mountain! Breakfast was a delight...

Great evening food, perfect for the keen skier.

The room was nice. The main problem was that there was no front desk. I arrived at the hotel at around 4pm and couldn't get in. I pressed the intercom and there was a recording at first, which I couldn't understand. Then someone answered the phone, but I still couldn't understand it. Since my mobile phone network signal was not good, and another China Mobile phone couldn't get through to Ctrip's overseas...

Good option! Very good location. Beds could be in better condition. Rest is fairly good. It would have been a great upgrade to have some sky lockers at the Parking. The reception attention quite good.

Stayed here with my family for 5 days just before Christmas for skiing. The apartment is very clean and very big, plenty of room for us (4 adults). It’s a 10 minute easy walk to the gondola so we left our boots and skis in storage near the gondola. Our transfer was initially delayed so the girl at reception let us have a late check out with no charge and then due to the adverse weather conditions...

Good location! The apartment is very comfortable. The only thing it needs is mosquito nets on the windows because bugs get in at night. I traveled in the summer, and without the window open it was very hot since the apartment doesn't have air conditioning.

The apartment is phenomenal, it has everything. We loved staying there. It is also well located, with incredible views and you can park for free in the parking lot. We loved staying there, we went in June, we could see that there was a lot of space for the ski season.

Great apartment, especially for the price. We had a really spacious apartment for 4 persons with an incredible nice view on the mountains. Service was really nice too. They called before our stay to check if we wanted to book the ski passes for a better price and at arrival the lady at the reception was really nice and helpful. Overall a really good stay, will come back another time for sure.

Well priced and well equipped apartments, with all modern amenities (washing machine, iron, induction plates, etc...), clean and crisp beddings, conveniently located for el tarter ski slopes and restaurants. Offers on site parking. Mr Amin made us feel welcomed and was very helpful. Recommended.

It's very nice in a basic needs way. Great size for two people or 2+small child. No frills. Incredible hot water and pressure😎always a plus after a day of hiking and shopping. The small town it's situated in is quaint and pretty in that rustic mountain way.

Hotel with an excellent location when you come to ski! At the foot of the gondola where there are also 2 ski equipment rental companies. In the heart of the village with access to shops, restaurants, pharmacy... The rooms are dated but comfortable and very clean (kudos to the maintenance staff). Good quality bedding. Good hotel in a great location.

Hotel well located, but aging. We spent a week there. BE CAREFUL during hot periods (summer): no air conditioning, it is very hot in the attic rooms for the family rooms, on the 3rd floor! intolerable ! A stone's throw from France, the staff does not speak French, and does not make the effort! Most of the staff are friendly, but at breakfast it's hard to get a smile! And the end time is the end time...

Let's keep it simple with a pros and cons review! Pros: cheaper than many other hotel considering position and season (ski season), free ski lockers, 30mt from gondolas (cable car), big, varied and tasty breakfast, nice mountain hotel-like mood with a nice hall with fireplace, pool table books and bar. Personally I dind't mind the fact that the hotel was basically NEVER renewed to modern standards...

Staff simply great, you are with a family which takes care of you completely. Food is amazing, well worth the price. Views are great and the room id great as well. If you want to ski in Grandvalira this is the place to stay.

The food was good and similar to that of other bordas. However we had to wait a lot of time between the starters and the main course. In the end we left without dessert or anything because we were already tired. They apologized a lot, but at the time of paying they did not have any gesture of apology. I don't think we will go again.

The owners are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, the food delicious. Our group enjoyed lamb chops, onion soup, carpaccio, escudella, tart tatin and a brownie. Everything was flavourful and well prepared. Do make a stop after you’ve enjoyed a nice hike on Coll d’Ordino!

Hotel redone and perfectly isolated. You feel good the owners are very friendly the staff very discreet for very clean rooms. To recommend . The big plus is the parking in the hotel and the proximity to the slopes; a real treat .

Location is excellent, a 2 mins walk to the slopes. The 3 person room is a bit small for 3 people and basic. The bathroom is a good size and the room is functional if you are just there to ski. Good value for money. Very good breakfast with plenty of choices. The servers are very friendly especially Nehemias. Dinner is also very good with a widespread of choices.

I have coeliac disease and from the moment I arrived, Nehe Mias and the rest of the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. They took my dietary requirements seriously, explained options clearly, and made sure everything was safe and stress-free throughout my stay. It made a huge difference being able to relax and enjoy my time without worrying. Excellent service and genuinely caring staff.

We had a self catered apartment and it was great, we had no problems. The restaurant downstairs had great food. The bar downstairs had expertly made caramel whiskey shots. The ski rental shop is directly next door without needing to leave the building. The boot room downstairs led directly out onto the slopes for ski in and out which was so convenient. Its nice ,warm and clean 1 bed apts a but small for 4 people! its good you can ski in and out ... that is if you are able to ski!! .. its a bit of a walk up and down to shops, ski lifts And all the rest ....

It was amazing! The apartment is right on the slopes, the ski/snowboard locker rooms are huge, (and fit up to 6 pairs of boots in them), the rooms are far better than 3 stars and the snowboard/ski rental is literally (not even joking) DIRECTLY next to the main entrance of the Hotel!
