Hotel Peretol

Hotel Peretol is a friendly, welcoming guesthouse with great food, bar, sunny terrace overlooking the snow park. Walks nearby are stunning along the river and through the pine trees. Skiing up at Grau Roig is easily accessible via the mini-bus service from the door of the hotel. Laura and the team are so helpful and friendly. The beds were basic but comfortable and the bathroom including bath was clean and functioned well. I would recommend this guesthouse to families, adults and groups looking for catered accommodation with a bar and friendly, cosy atmosphere.

We spent February half term with Laura and her very lovely team. The hotel is clean and has everything you need, it’s not luxurious, so if this is what you want maybe not for you. But the friendliness of the staff and help with any question and the amenities for me are enough to tick the boxes. We were half board booking through Total Chalet, which on top of our lovely continental breakfast and supper, also included a complimentary drink with supper and afternoon cake and tea after a day on the slopes, which was a lovely treat and lovely cakes. The hotel has a large ski room so you can store all your ski equipment there so no lugging around. Laura is able to get the ski bus (free) to stop at the hotel if you don’t want to go via the drag lift route to Grau Roig, our son’s a beginner so easier to get bus in the morning to get to his lessons. The supper in the evening had a selection of meals to choose from and happy to accommodate a vegetarian. Always ice cream on so our son was happy.. drinks at the bar are amazing prices €2.50 for a beer, €3.50/€12 for a glass/ bottle of wine. The view also was amazing at night as right next to the board park, so some good viewing and not too noisy either. We had a lovely stay and Laura even accommodated me to be able to watch the six nations game! I would definitely go back and we can’t point to one specific team member as all were amazing and so so helpful. Thanks Laura and her team for a lovely week.

We’ve just had a great week here. Laura and her team are so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is comfy, warm and not too big so it has a ‘home from home’ atmosphere. Although it’s slightly isolated, getting about is no issue as you can ski in/out or take the resort minibus if you prefer and it’s easy to walk up to the rd to catch the bus into Soldeu or El tarter. We would definitely return here. We’ve had a fabulous time!

Chalet/hotel Peretol excellent value for money. We Arrived at the hotel 11pm and there was a meal waiting for us. The rooms were clean well equipped ,comfortable and warm. breakfast continental buffet style with fresh tea and coffee eggs ham cheese cereal toast and fresh fruit. Laura organized ski equip. lift passes and ski school. In the morning a ski bus was outside the hotel waiting to take beginners to ski school. and to bring them back in the afternoon. The intermediates there is a button lift on the door step to take you into the mountain from there ski to Grau Roig to meet the beginners for lunch. Laura and the rest of the crew went well above and beyond to help all week. advice on busses lifts here and there. our transfer home was very early in the morning they even gave us a lift to meet the transfer coach. Please don't expect that for free the walk uphill on cold icy early morning has to be worth its weight in gold. The food in the hotel was good with a selection on offer all days ( 3 course with drinks ) apart from the chalet staff day off. there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby resorts of pas or soldeu. Final thoughts i have skied most of Europe some north America in hotels and chalets, this would be my best pick. not the most luxurious but certainly the friendliest and most helpful. If you are expecting 5* luxury then this isn't the place for you. If you're a skier like me that wants good skiing, somewhere warm, cosy and friendly then this the place for you.
