Hotel Villa Koral

We had 5 days stay at Villa Coral during July 2025. I could say that for the money we paid everything was fantastic. We were accommodated earlier than the set hours, the room was very spacious, clean and cold :), the bed was very comfortable. About the breakfast - it was very delicious, the coffee was perfect, the variety was more than enough for the amount paid. With two words I can say that was very nice stay.

We are Raffaele and Maria Grazia. On vacation in Albania, we stayed at this hotel in Durrës for a good 8 days, and if we had to draw honest conclusions, we can only write a positive review. The hotel has excellent rooms, tastefully furnished, well-maintained, large and spacious, and is reasonably clean. The reception staff is very professional and courteous, and will help you with anything you need. The restaurant deserves a special mention. The food is excellent. You can choose the fish you want, it's always fresh and divinely cooked, as are the excellent soups. Compliments to the chef. The dining room staff is very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Breakfast in the morning was always excellent and plentiful, with no limits. Will I return to the Vila Koral hotel in Durrës? Of course, if I return to Albania, it will be my go-to place. Thank you all for making us feel at ease, but above all, thanks to the owners, who have managed to create something beautiful, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.

Perfect, the hotel is located in the city center, the best, everywhere bakeries, supermarkets that sell very good Turkish delight (650 grams of Turkish delight 280 leks or 2.80€) is already vacuum-packed. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant with plate service, we do not really like fried eggs at breakfast so we said No Eggs, we were served afterwards like kings. Breakfast: Croissant covered with caramelized honey, slices of feta, black olives, slices of tomato, cucumber, ham, cheese like Gruyère. Portions of small dry cakes, fruit juice and coffee (you have to ask the one who serves) without forgetting cubes of fresh butter, toasted slices with jam, honey, chocolate in "mignonettes". The rooms are comfortable and spacious. They give shower gels, shampoo at will. Towels are changed every 2 days. There is a TV that accepts USB sticks. If you want to connect to the Wi-Fi (it is better to use the Ristorante server which is faster than the hotel itself). You will find stamps at the local post office which is located on the left after a 1km cool walk as well as a currency exchange office before the post office. There are people who exchange in the city but you have to be aware of the currency rate because they are a bit crafty. The pastries are delicious and generally cost 150 leks (regardless of the size of the cake) or €1.50. The photo showing these small cakes are sold for around 120 leks or €1.20. There are many things to visit, the snacks are clean and you eat well for cheap. There is also a city bus which takes you back for 30 cents of leks to the central station to go to other destinations like Tirana for 200 leks (round trip for one person). Once you arrive at the bus terminal, you cross the street to go from the other side" and get on any bus (which will cost you 40 cents per person, plus you always get on the back to get on city buses) which will take you to the capital or when leaving the terminal on the left, follow the road to walk to Tirana (allow a good 25 to 30 minutes of walking). For souvenirs, it is better to buy them in the shops around the hotel because elsewhere it is up to the customer and no price is displayed / which is annoying every time /. Have a good stay everyone.

Excellent meal and excellent service. The food was so fresh. We had the fish soup and mixed seafood dish which was amazing, followed by the soufflé with ice cream. Could not fault it and the price was very reasonable. Will be coming back before we go home

We had dinner for 4 days in this restaurant. Superlative chef both in the preparation of the dishes and in the right cooking for all the courses, attentive and careful service also in the dining room, very fresh fish and frankly honest prices. It will remain a beautiful memory.

Myself and my wife stayed for 3 nights at this hotel from 30 April - 03- May 2024. From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and temperature control. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door and was amazing. The manager was very friendly, and served a breakfast of champions in a stylish environment. We really enjoyed our stay at the Vila Koral and would recommend it to anyone visiting Durres.

I go to this hotel at least once a year and I guarantee that everything is perfect. The rooms are welcoming, spacious and very bright. The restaurant is an excellence in cuisine. Delicious fish always cooked perfectly!

Wonderful stay, very friendly staff, everything very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a very complete breakfast in the restaurant, fresh fish and seafood and, of course, the delicious wood-fired pizzas, highly recommended.
