Hotels with beach in Durres

Clean rooms and interior, always helpful staff (Mr Caretaker was the best, you will know that's him when you'll see a person being able to take care about kinda everything), superb location near to the beach and center of Durres, from where you can take a bus to Tirana and other cities/parts of Albania

Last but not least, drinks at the beach bar - even if they were made by very polite and nice guys - was just vodka/brandy/etc mixed with some cheap versions of sodas and ice

We had a blast staying at the Horizont Hotel this summer. The room was cosy and pleasant, the food was varied and delicious, and the staff very kind and helpful

we thoroughly enjoyed lut stay three, and can fully recommend the Horizont Hotel as a holiday destination

Can't really get it why people complain about the hotel being located in the "slums-area" - that is just Albanian ppl living in the neighbourhood or some abandonned/not renovated/empty buildings; supposedly nothing that hotel could do anything about

When we got one the door was broken (staff helped and it was working in 10 minutes), the lights in the bathroom weren't working. Location is really strange, entrance is located behind a cracked yellow building

As soon as you came out of the hotel you were at the beach and I found this very convenient as you didn’t need to walk far. There was also a view directly of the sea from most balconies where you could see the sunset

In the mornings, a breakfast buffet was set out (including eggs, bread, meat, cheese, fruit and vegetables, croissants, and crepes some days), and there were a variety of tables to sit at

The air conditioning was strong and made the whole room cool within a few minutes and it was adjustable to your liking. The beds were also comfortable

Cleaners cleaned the rooms daily and gave us clean towels and bedsheets while also cleaning the floor

Staff and cleaning ladies where so nice and welcoming when we arrived. We got a spacious room with balcony and sea views on a super fair rate

For lunch and dinner there was a menu which you could choose from and had to pay according to what you order, but the food was delicious

Super nice pool you can access even if you're not a guest. It was calm when I came, not too many people, clean water, nice beach bar. Recommended if the water from the beach nearby is too disgusting for you.

Beautiful hotel with direct access to the beach having private area on beach for drinks or dining. The reception has a clean luxurious marble look and the staff are efficient and friendly

Excellent experience we had at this hotel! From food, amenities, location and most especially to all the staff (reception, security guards, spa lady, cleaning ladies,staff at restaurants and pool club) were fantastic

We were looked after like royalties and everyone made sure that we got all the help even with our day trips. Cannot recommend enough for people to check out Durres and stay at Adriatik Hotel

There are bungalovs and apartments for guests and a swimming pool,restaurant,càfes and it has a nice beach.

Slight expensive and slow service. But beauitful beach very clean.

The location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the city centre and the private beach. The rooms are not the biggest but comfortable and provided with all the necessary accessories. Air conditioning system works just fine

The breakfast is really good , parking is in the hotel’s basement. Private beach, the restaurant is great

Rooms are nice, there is everything you may need, food is very tasty. But first of all we will always remember kindness of people working here at the reception - Silvi, Endi, Jani and Artemis - great people!!!

Honestly it's the best hotel in Durres. Sunset from the balcony was just amazing. And fish restaurant is must be visited as well. Just don't spare money for a good room with sea view Thanks to staff

I have visited many countries and Aragosta is one of the most advanced hotel structures in Albania. A fantastic position from where you admire the sunrise and the magic of the sunset

The location is excellent for shops, bars & restaurants. The hotels private beach is a 5 minute walk. What let’s the hotel down is the small overcrowded roof top pool. It’s more of a plunge pool than swimming pool

The food was delicious. I've never been at more beautifull hotel then Empire. All of the stuff was So nice and helpfull. I can fully recommend this place and I wish to come back there!!

Overall it was quite good, but the biggest problem was the bad smell in the toilet - there is for sure some problem with sewers. I would also suggest more differentiating breakfasts as it got boring.

Lovely hotel! We have enjoyed our stay. Staff is so friendly, hotel is very clean and the food is exceptional for the area! One of the best hotels in Durrës from our experience. It’s worth a try!

Nice ? quiet place to relax

Great rooms and a good view of the coast. Room service ,valet parking. Workers speak foreign languages. Has a bar & restaurant on site. Its one of the most expensive places around here but it's worth it at the end.

Rooms very good standard, spacious and clean, with air conditioning. During our 10 days stay, there was 1 power outage for 2 hours, and 3-4 times there was no water for 1-2 hours

Nice plaece situate on the beach.

The service at this restaurant is excellent. The pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. They make them in a real pizza oven. Average price in Albania

A guy on the beach( who works for hotel) will always help you with an umbrella and chairs. Rooms were cleaned every day along with towels changing. Sheets were changed maybe 3-4 timed during the week

Large room, nice view, decent staff.

Rooms are very comfortable, some of them have sea view. There is a free access to beach towels and deckchairs. One minus for monotonous breakfasts. Sometimes there was no water, scrambled eggs etc

The street side is dark all day with an unimpressive view of the alley. Service was friendly and adequate. Beach at hotel: The hotel is right on the beach squeezed between the main tourist traps and restaurants

Everything you need to know about Hotel Vala and the area: Rooms: A seaview is a must, if you have the option. The balcony gets sun from 5am to 8pm and you have a great view of the beach and Bay of Durres

This is not a bad thing in Albania :) There will be peddlers selling fresh donuts and grilled corn. You can eat your breakfast outside at shaded tables or drink coffee and beer while lieing in the sunbeds

Amusement park 15 min walk towards Golem, 200 per ride (it's fun you will see!) Vala Restaurant: The food is excellent here, and the prices are the same as other restaurants nearby. Everything we tried was delicious

It is on the 6th floor with an open, shaded terrace and sea view. The service is "weird" sometimes making it difficult to understand the menu

Location: perfect location, just at the sandy beach. New construction with spaceous rooms and well furnished. Cleaning is excellent and staff is very friendly. Not to many choices of selection

Beach: good enough, though umbrellas and beach beds could be better. Space from umbrella to umbrella is very good and gives some intimacy. Bar: yet is not well supplied
