Villa Era Beach

Amazing! Definitely better than we hoped for. We were shown a spotless room with marble tiles and an amazing view from our balcony. The beach is absolutely wonderful with the best lounge chairs I have seen, for free. Great service from the bar. Breakfast is great, with healthy options and some that are definitely not healthy, but delicious. Vila Era is a ten minute stroll from the main promenade. As such it is not terribly busy on the streets. Sarande itself is not a beautiful city, but if you fancy a relaxing time at the beach and great food and souvenir shopping in the evening, you will have a great time. We took an easy ferry from Corfu.

Such amazing hospitality and location was stunning, especially for sunset. Surrounded by great resturants and a Spar nearby. The host was AMAZING and so so helpful! She also put up a happy birthday sign as I'd mentioned in my booking that it has recently been my birthday. The breakfast was a great spread too!

This beach resort is absolutely stunning! The views are breathtaking, and the waters are crystal clear. The beds right on the beach are perfect for relaxation. I was impressed by the reasonable prices, considering the resort is newly built and offers clean, spacious accommodations and private access to beach. The breakfast options were fantastic, and the location is ideal - just a 5-10 minute walk to the center. The service at the beach and in the hotel rooms was exceptional. I would highly recommend this resort and can't wait to visit again!

The apartment was really nice with a stunning view. Service is so friendly and open to help. It could be nice to have additional kitchen accessories and additional signs about Vila location from the road point of view. ( Google Maps had an error). But generally, I would recommend it!

Fantastic, simply fantastic is how I can describe our stay in this paradise. The place is beautiful and organized and the cleanliness is impeccable, everything smells wonderful. The owners who welcomed us are super friendly and do everything they can to make you feel very welcome... The breakfast is delicious and complete enough to start your day. There are also many delicious restaurants near the hotel. And without a doubt the beach in front of the hotel is an experience in itself... incredible infrastructure.

I am kind of shocked at some of the bad reviews. We were a group of three women and loved this place so much. Granted, I didn't think I would be at the Ritz either. Nearly everyone who works here is part of the family (Aunt, uncle, cousins, grandma). It is a small family-owned villa. They cook you breakfast in the morning, once again, I'm not expecting a 5-star meal; I liked that it was a traditional Albanian meal cooked by family. They all work extremely hard to please you. Matilda was awesome and so sweet and Nico the bartender kept us laughing and would make us anything. The restaurant does accept cards, but the bar doesn't, it's cash only. Lots of Albanians prefer cash. This was within walking distance from the ferry to Corfu, a grocery store for snacks across the street, and lots of restaurants nearby. We took a cab to Butrint and Ksamil all in the same day. We preferred to stay at our little Oasis more than any place we went. Ksamil was expensive, and we just really appreciated the beauty and simplicity of our little place, especially after 10 days in Greece and a sailboat. Very relaxing. I hope one day I can return.

This is a super cute place right on the beach. I don’t know what parking is like, it was a little tricky getting in there with a car. Each room comes with an umbrella on a small beach. Breakfast is provided for free. The room was clean, bright comfortable. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed it immensely and would return! It is walkable to the ferry to Corfu, lots of diners, cafe, shops.

This hotel is wonderful, and Saranda is fantastic! I chose this hotel as it seemed to be a reasonable price for a hotel on the beach. It totally exceeded my expectations. From the reviews I would have guessed that the hotel managers were rude and the breakfast was not worth your time. The hotel managers/owners were lovely and I didn't bother with the breakfast, because there are so many wonderful places to go nearby! Awesome, affordable pastry shops are a short walk away. Getting from CFU to Saranda is not a problem, just take a cheap bus or a cab for 20Euros to the port. You'll have to go through the port authority building in Corfu before you can go to your boat. Watch some Youtube videos about this. From Saranda port, the walk to the hotel is easy. You'll notice you have everything you need along the way: pastry shops, restaurants, supermarkets, currency exchange, cabs, and clothing. When you get to Vila Era Beach it is a little steep walk downhill from a corner market, just follow the signs. There is no official reception, but at the first table across from the bar the owners will greet you. We arrived early, which wasn't a problem as when they were cleaning the room, the owners show you where your designated two lounge chairs/parasol are, based on your room number. This means that you don't have any stresses when it comes to finding your "spot" by the beach. The bar attendants come around and are very helpful. Also, people come around selling beach snacks. I thought from the photos that the lounge chairs might be too close together to the others, but they were fine. We waited for our room to be readied, and took in the fantastic beach. The beach there is stony, but the water is wonderful--Not as nice as Kasmil Beach. However, the hotel is in a much better location and close to the Promenade. Keep in mind the waves are strong when the tide is coming in. I would recommend getting a room with a sea view, as it is totally worth it. Across the main road (up the little hill) from the hotel is Taverna Liberia which serve fantastic grilled meats, fish, and salads and is a "must go to" restaurant, right by the hotel. The medium mixed-grill plate could easily feed 4 people for 45 Euros. Getting a cab in Saranda is cheap. It is worth it to take a ride up to Lekursi castle (totally worth the trip, go for a sunset meal or drinks...or hike it if you want a workout) or to Kasmil beach where you can rent lounge chairs at a bar/restaurant. We want to go back to Saranda, and would very stay at Vila Era Beach again, happily!

Amazing experience. Hotel room is extremely clean and well maintained. It has been invested into and is kept modern and cleansed during your stay. Air con and other amenities worked really well. Location was perfect and a good walking distance from the ‘*****’. Would definitely go back. Breakfast does the job (don’t expect a full course meal). Lovely family run place. Parking was a little tricky due to space however the hotel manages it exceptionally well. Beach was clean and sun beds well maintained. 10/10 experience!
