Such a great place to stay! All staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was clean equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The view was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails at the rooftop bar. Finding the hotel and parking was very easy.... we will definitely be coming back!

Super comfy bed in large apartment style room. The Eagles nest was cool, but limited in space due to a private function.

The point is we’ll positioned with everything you need for a business stay. Rooms are spacious and most have a balcony. Excellent restaurant with a quaint bar . Plenty of free onsite parking is a welcome bonus . If you want to eat out the storey bridge hotel is a 5 minute walk .

The Point Hotel used to be our regular place to stay for many years, because of the convenient location, free parking and the rooms were always clean and well appointed. However, we were extremely disappointed with our recent stay after we had not been there for a couple of years. Even though we were happy to be allocated a room on the 11th floor, we were greeted by a horrible musty odour as soon as we opened the door. It was very potent, permeating throughout the entire room. The room decor, carpet and furniture are very tired & dated and cleaning standards have dropped significantly. The room was quite dusty, a table had sticky ring marks on it and we were glad to have disinfectant wipes with us. The glass bathroom door had a broken side-strip and there was a hole in the door where a lock or latch was supposed to be. It’s all crying out for a reno. I was waiting to check out at the unattended reception desk for a while, until someone eventually came out, barely acknowledging me. She didn’t ask how our stay was either. Not the experience we were used to at the Point Hotel and we will be looking to stay elsewhere from now on.

We had stayed here previously and was looking forward to returning. At check-in, the staff were welcoming and friendly, not so much at check out, we weren't even asked if we had enjoyed our stay. Anyway, our room was nice and got the room as pictured. It wasn't away from the road as requested, but c'est la vie. Breakfast was lovely each day. The only negative were the bedside lamps, which really need to be replaced. The lamp shades were showing signs of age and damage (see pics). Otherwise, we had a second great stay.

The bed is way too soft l, and road noise is high from the nearby Story Bridge main road, especially in peak hours. It’s about 20 years old and so a little dated but still in good shape.
On the plus side, my executive room was large, as per the booking, and the staff are above average and friendly. Car parking is also relatively easy once you find an empty spot. May consider staying again if the beds were firmer. Thank you.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. The Balcony room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, cleanliness of hotel was good. The pool could have done with a clean, it had leaves at the bottom and a little bit grimy around the edges, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel was well kept. Free car parking was a bonus. Staff were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant and room service the next night. Meals were delicious and staff serving us were great :)

Good 4 star hotel. Good price, good location, very clean! Great option to go for when you don't want to break the bank but still want to stay somewhere decent. Staff were very attentive and lovely. Within walking distance to most things you need.
Very importantly: bed and pillow were very comfy, room was quite quiet, and shower had excellent pressure.

Located in the quiet part of Kangaroo Point, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just perfect if you want a good night sleep.
However it's a bit of walk to the nearest bus station. If you need a quick departure, the hotel could arrange for a taxi.
The room is cozy and clean. They also offer complimentary bottled water and lots of amenities in the room.
The staff are friendly and helpful. We checked in and out with ease.
