Was alright, though the staff could be friendlier and the breakfast food could have been better (quality-wise).
Location is conveniently accessible to the attractions of Cairns and their hotel is super comfortable and with easy check on system with their friendly staff
Excellent view and guest service. The mocktail provided by Coco is amazing
Super convenient location right next to the ****** and hotel staff were amazing also
Bad services;  no make up room until 4pm;  no drinking water
Our stay was excellent and hotel is located on walking distance to all the great restaurants.

From Check in to check out, the service was seamless. Dinner at the Italian Restaurant was beautiful and the meal came quickly. Breakfast at the Poolside Restaurant was good. I am very fussy about my eggs, they were perfect and it came out quickly.
We spent the night before we left for the airport which was nice and close. Pools were great and we were lucky enough to get a room upgrade which was really nice. The place itself could do with some updating but it is the perfect spot to keep the kids entertained!!
nice resort for relaxing. nice staff, just not near to the centre. but overall is nice!
They were amazing help, allowing us to check in early and great resort
Nice big room. Clean and surrounded by lush gardens. Food at the poolside bar wasn’t great but the pool itself was lovely.
Great place to stay with families. We were there just after Easter and was not too busy. The resort is clean & has 3 pools to choose from. A nice café & Italian within. The rooms are a bit basic however they do the job as you are out most of the day, plus they are not noisy! Transport to the CBD is super convenient and only costs 50c on the bus. Would definitely go back.

Nice location Spacious room for families .
Great pool, very clean , excellent breakfast , yummy cocktails , dinner was amazing.  Only one thing bad was the pool sun lounges, the are very uncomfortable I had to sit in a bean bag.  Just to add gluten free eating for coeliacs was great seperate toaster for breaky and freshly cooked eggs and bacon on request. Very happy !!
The breakfast was decent with a wide western selection and a small asian section, the kids loved the nutella machine! There's waffles and pan cakes and also a salad bar. The bread selection was quite good too and a virgin blood mary!
nice hotel, it’s a bit humid but all good. they have free flow filtered water at the bar, check in check out smooth, nice pool.
My first room in building C was awful with the view of the opposite hotel. I could literally watch what other people did in their room and they could watch me as well. Also the room condition was so bad with crawling insects so I needed to upgrade the room. The upgraded room was fine with a poolside view and less bugs crawling on the wooden table. I understand there could be little creatures but just...

Perfect location for us with needing to be at the Tobruk pool every day for competition. It is in walking distance. We had a beautifully renovated and furnished 2 bedroom apartment. The grounds are very well kept and the pool areas beautifully nestled into the resort. It was nice and quiet. We would definitely return.
Well, it's not a resort as I know it. I would call it a gated community. It seems that units are owned and rented out. We checked in at night, which was a very bad move. While staff were helpful with directions, the place is poorly lit. Signs to the various buildings were small and impossible to read in the dark. We had to get assistance from staff after driving around the place for twenty minutes...
Just spent a week here with the family using The Lakes as a base and could not be happier with the service. From check in till check out we were well looked after. Our apartment was beautifully set up and the resort pools were great. For being such a large complex there was very little noise from other guests. Looking forward to returning in the future.
This is a nice family spot. Rooms have been updated. 3 pools to choose from. Food here was amazing. The mini golf is over priced for what it is. Can get very busy around main pool as they do have outside kids birthday party. The night movie at the pool was a great feature. Would stay again.
We recently stayed at the lakes with our two children, the apartment was amazing, the pools were amazing and all the staff were so friendly. Tegan is absolutely wonderful, we had a mix up with our booking (my mistake) Tegan came out in the middle of the night to help us and our children to make sure we had appropriate accommodation, I can’t thank her enough, Tegan went above and beyond to make sure...
Great size apartment on the 2nd floor with all the facilities we required as a family. Pools were fantastic and our kids had lots of fun swimming in all the different ones.

Stayed here recently for work, was a one bedroom oceanview appartment and as you can see it was absolutely amazing! Great location, great views, the unit was very clean, well maintained and very quiet. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful, the pool area was fantastic and easily accessible. Stayed in tower 2 with had a seperate access door to the Esplanade, which made it easy to pop in and...
Would have been higher rating as the location was excellent, the spaciousness of the room was great and service was lovely. However the pool whilst large had many missing tiles, pebble Crete was coming off and was rough and sharp on the foot in some spots. Also the room had a musty smell that took a couple of days for me not to notice it and we had to have a Wi-Fi extender as the standard Wi-Fi in...
Unbeatable Location We recently stayed at Mantra Trilogy Cairns and were absolutely delighted with our experience. Frankly, we had been slightly concerned after reading a few negative reviews, but our stay was far and away better than we anticipated. We will 100% be booking here again. The standout feature of this location is, without a doubt, the unbeatable location. Situated right on the Esplanade...
Had a lovely and helpful welcome checking in and we’d booked an ocean front room. Looking at floor plans by the lift we scored a massive room like a one bedroom apartment. Loved the space and particularly the balcony with amazing views. It had all you need with a full kitchen and laundry. There is a dehumidifier that needs to be on 24/7 and we emptied it twice a day. The let down was the air conditioner...
Only good thing is the location - walking distance to a lot of good food options, the lagoon, etc. However we didn't appreciate that there's no free WiFi unless you sign up for membership. We signed up and were promised late check out as well, but they didn't honour it. They also don't have any room service whatsoever in the apartments if you stay less than a week (we stayed 6 days). We had to keep...
second time around here,we got an upgraded. apartment style room which is very spacious instead of a deluxe room. everything was nice and fantastic, maybe just a lil improvement in their wifi would be really nice.

Great location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. Had an excellent stay and will be back again.
I booked for a seaview room but was given a carpark and a corner bit of seaview. Felt ripped off. I was staying in 1061. Pls avoid this if you have booked for seaview room. This room should not be sold as a sea view room. We certainly got a lot of tree views!
Very good location, close to the Harbour and next to many nice restaurants.
Very convenient location. Near amenities & many restaurants. All within walking distance
Amazing hotel. Beautiful location with unbelievable views from the balcony. Swimming pool and facilities were outstanding.
I stayed here twice - the first time, an ordinary room, the 2nd time, I thought maybe the Horizon Club might be a higher level. Before I say anything, I may choose to stay again for the location! This property is not 'Shangri-LA' as you would expect - the windows are all dirty which is disappointing for 'Marina View' rooms... Overall, I was very satisfied, but when we checked in, we were told that the king-size room we booked was fully booked and we could only get a twin-size room, which was really incomprehensible. But the rest was really good. I especially like the handsome guys and girls at the front desk who helped us book nearby attractions and were very friendly and kind. Its a good place within access to many facilities. The staff is friendly and quite forthcoming in attending to one's needs. Rooms are clean and roomy affording a good aeration. Will recommend the place for any type of stay, holiday or work, short or long stays
Very happy with the service and accommodation. Loved our stay.
View from the room looks really good. It is 1km walking distance to everything including bars restaurants ferry supermarket and public swimming pools. 1 dollar day pass bus is available and there is a stop behind the hotel. But if you do not want to walk for hundreds meters or 1km, the location is not good for you.

Great location, room was spacious, great views, staff were lovely.
Despite our late-night arrival, Jack, the waiter, displayed exceptional kindness, and the check-in process was efficiently handled. The hotel's central location proves to be highly advantageous, but it is worth mentioning that the lighting in the room was somewhat dim. Regrettably, the absence of toiletries was a minor inconvenience.
The staff is incredibly friendly! The hotel is very well designed, clean and it has a huge lobby. They helped me with everything I needed, I can recommend a visit here highly! Thank you so much, dear Pacific Team!
Comfortable enough room but Wifi is unusably slow and big lump In the old bed. Not happy with pre-check in or check in process - just a massive up-sell. hotel does not accept cash but charges exorbitant card use fees (scam). Beware. We obviously got a very basic room with a view of the driveway and no balcony - but for more $$ we could have upgraded, Yeah - Nah. Construction around the pool deck ATM
Staff was amazing breakfast was perfect the rooms where nice and clean, view is amazing it’s am very close to all the shops and everything is walking distance
Fair welcome and friendly approach. They have the dinner only pre defined menu which you can access via QR code they supplied. But you can order only up to 2000. And the breakfast served in the restaurant which you can find average selection which was good by the quality. Checking out was smooth and overall stay was comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 of our 6 nights in Cairns, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful — the two pools look just as good as the photos! We had a very spacious triple room and all the requests l made at time of booking were fulfilled. Excellent housekeeping, comfortable beds, helpful staff, beautiful pools and gardens. This hotel is a great deal if you are willing to forgive the dated decor and location on a highway ( ask for a quiet room ). Very happy stay.
We stayed at Palm Royale Cairns for two nights. It was so nice, relaxing and clean. It felt as if you were at a tropical resort. The reception staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The only cons we found were that they don’t offer breakfast, and it’s around a 12 minute car ride from downtown Cairns. They have a self-service laundry room and even sell laundry powder at the front desk. They have...
My stay at the hotel was decent overall, offering good value for the price. The facilities were satisfactory, and the service met my expectations. However, I would recommend requesting a room on the quiet street side rather than facing the highway. The rooms on the highway side can be quite noisy, which might affect your comfort during the stay.
The room was very spacious and pools, palms, parking. Nice stay overall. Near mall and coffee truck.

Great location, service. Hotel is old nonetheless and several bathroom trimmings are rusted.
The hotel was extremely customer friendly. We had booked an ocean view room and they initially did not put us in that. When we went to get it corrected, they not only put us in an oceanview room but also gave us free breakfast for two days. The staff was incredibly friendly. Although some parts were dirty, the price, service and location were good. If you are going on a tour of the Great Barrier Reef, it is a good choice as the cruise departs and arrives nearby.
Amazing place had everything we needed and more. Pillows and mattress were to perfection. Room service was on point and fast. Food from hotel and restaurants were delicious and the staff so friendly and accomodating. Thank you so much trip.com for making this experience affordable. We would never had gone otherwise.
The location is good, close to the ticket exchange pier, the hotel rooms are spacious, the functional areas of the rooms are well separated, and the family lives comfortably. There is good greenery nearby, you can stroll around after going out to sea, the street view is good, and it is not far from the night market and the aquarium. You can walk directly to
TThe hotel boasts fantastic amenities. I’m particularly fond of the bed and pillows; I’d love to stay here indefinitely. The customer service is equally impressive. I’m grateful for the recommendations from Matthew and Peter regarding activities in Cairns.

The hotel’s location is great, but we had a few inconveniences. irst, the room phone wasn’t working. I informed the front desk, and they said it would be repaired, but it never was. Then, the alarm went off in the middle of the night, and we were told it was just a test. Testing in the middle of the night was very inconvenient. We couldn’t get back to sleep afterward.
A bit outdated rooms and foyer areas..is in need for a good renovation. The beds were too soft for my tastes , but the pillows compensated for it. Other than that , everything was perfect. The room was very clean. However, the walls were a little thin, so you could hear a lot of noise from the next room. I was woken up at around 3am by the sound of the shower in the next room. service is ok. location no good. facility run down, not lovely at all
We were late arriving, which I had notified the property of. When checking in the guy at the desk was not the Aussie welcome I’d expected. He was short and dismissive. We left quite early the next morning and the same person ‘Russell’ was on reception and showed little regard or gratitude for our stay. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to him us being there. The room itself was pleasant.
Everything else is OK, but the hot water bottle contains leftover water from previous customers, which is a penalty.
Clean, quiet, close to the airport, friendly staff.

Very good location for us and the accommodation was good. A bit noisy outside under the fig tree but overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very obliging.
Very gd location. Convenient walk to food and pier. Love the cosy breakfast on the verandah! A hotel of character! The only downside would be that some facilities inside the room are a bit old. Shower in our room is dripping. Noise at night could be loud!
Easy check in / check out process. There's a $100 security deposit hold on your credit card which I'm not a huge fan of, but the rooms were clean and pretty nice considering the cost and the area. I like everything about the hotel, excellent location, staff friendly and very helpful, only thing i didn’t like was the pool, very cold, especially the spa,i have never experienced cold spa.
The facilities are very old. The terrace on the second floor is very large and you can see the fireworks. It is troublesome to go downstairs to get towels.
Overall we had a good stay here but found the housekeeping policy very strange. There is no housekeeping unless you pay for it (or stay for 8 days). We could change our towels personally at the front desk but were requested to take out our own trash and had no way of vacuuming after a long stay. However, the room was adequate and we very much enjoyed the location, which couldn’t have been better.
The hotel is close to the pier. Behind the hotel is the only Chinese restaurant in Cairns, Chuan Xiang Yuan, and a supermarket. Opposite the hotel is a public swimming pool. The hotel suites are quite good and large enough. The suites are equipped with complete kitchenware and tableware, as well as washing machines and dryers. The only drawback of the hotel is that cleaning is charged separately.
I will review from a Japanese perspective. Stayed in early May. Pros - Great location - All the front desk staff are kind - The barbecue set that you can borrow for free includes many types of tongs, oil, salt, and pepper - Soft toilet paper - Many types of coffee and tea are available.
