We stayed over Christmas and it was lovely for the kids. They were welcomed with gift packs full of mini-games, not just the normal colouring papers and pencils. They also have a Christmas workshop set up way before Christmas. The room was very nicely decorated with ample of space for crafting and small table for some drinks. The only downside was that many things had been used up and not refilled as the workshop opened a few weeks before Christmas. They also served milk in the workshop room, but I had concerns that the milk was there from the morning for the whole day and that it was not kept chilled, which might not be good for the kids to consume. The receptionists were very friendly.

There is no buffet breakfast, and we ordered three sets of breakfast, which are not very delicious compared with those outside the hotel. Other than that, everything is perfect, especially when we checked in the first night, the front desk staff went to the garage to teach my husband how to park the car.

I've been to Canberra twice. This is the best hotel I've stayed in. It's really nice. The staff are warm and considerate. The room is big, new and smells good. There were 4 people here this time and we had an extra bed in the living room. It's very convenient. It's only 5 minutes away from Parliament Hill in Canberra. It's in the center of the city. The location is very good. Parking is free on weekends. It's really good. Next to it is the Burbury Hotel, but this hotel has excellent value for money. It's really good. It's clean and comfortable. The location is great. Excellent, I will continue to stay there if I have the opportunity in the future, 5-star recommendation! Canberra feels great this time 😌

worst hotel ever A hotel with a very poor experience or even the worst hotel
Very bad experience. We changed rooms once because the first room was so dirty but even after moving to the new room it was very poorly maintained and the bathroom floor was full of stains which you won't see in the guest rooms of this hotel. Any shadow of a five-star hotel
What's even more objectionable is that the sound of hotel renovations in the morning was unacceptable. When we checked in, the hotel front desk did not inform us in advance that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Starting at 9 a.m. the next morning, there was a very harsh sound of electric drills and renovations that filled our entire room. We tried to complain to Ctrip on Dictionary. Ctrip’s customer service has been very enthusiastic and effective in helping us respond to the hotel, but the hotel has been shirking responsibility and saying that 9:30-16:30 is the renovation time. They have stated it on the website but have avoided talking about it. We already heard the noise problem at 9 o'clock and refused to give any compensation. This service attitude is unacceptable.
As guests, we understand that hotel renovations will create a certain amount of noise, but the noise they made this morning has reached an unbearable and even neurasthenic level. I can't help but wonder if the hotel is still selling such a room under such circumstances. An act of irresponsibility?
I will not stay in a hotel like this a second time. Our one night stay at the Kingdom Hotel was the worst and most disappointing experience I have ever had. I will never stay there again.

Modern, clean and spacious enough. Restaurants within the hotel are great options and lots of restaurants in walking distance. Underground parking was easy and convenient with lifts that can go directly to the hotel room floors.
