Canberra, London Circuit 🧭 Map
The service on the other hand… was slow, and stuff was an attentive which is such a shame. Because the food was so good!
Went to the restaurant for dinner Tuesday 17 January and had the best service from Sarah. Not only was she upbeat and welcoming, she worked spectacularly with the other floor and wait staff
Very nice room with a view of the lake, good amenities (dyson hairdryer was appreciated), and really nice quality shower products. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to Canberra centre and good restaurants
We were fortunate enough to have the Fathers day brunch this year and oh boy it did not disappoint. Bubbles on arrival, a wide selection of beers for the men in our lives and the most delectable spread of food
The meals were terrific, steaks cooked to perfection. Sarah and staff made my friend and me feel welcome and provided the perfect interaction a customer could want
All made incredibly special by the attentive staff. What a lovely morning/afternoon

A very elegant and beautiful hotel with history. The seafood buffet on Friday night was exquisite and breakfast was amazing. Best poached eggs one could wish for
The pianist played the grand piano, art works and the garden views snatched from windows added to the ambience. The best hotel bathrooms, I must say
It may be because Canberra has access to a lot of smart intelligent students studying at the ANU, but I find the hotel as well as the wait Staff at the restaurant very good and very helpful
However, despite these drawbacks, there were several positive aspects of my stay that deserve recognition. First and foremost, the location of the hotel was excellent
I just had a fancy afternoon tea. It looks like it’s from a movie. The food was on big platters and we had our own really kind helper. There were scones, jam and cream. And small bamboo shaped boats of food
An added bonus was the two Tesla chargers in the basement of the hotel, which we always available when we needed to charge the car. Looking forward to my next stay at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra

Burbury Hotel
Canberra, 1 Burbury Close, Barton 🧭 Map
Great staff the accommodation was superb. The wifi was awesome and the parking great. Really great value a must I would say. I’ve stayed abou ten hotels in Canberra this hands down the best and really great rates
Free parking and fairly large modern gym/s are a plus! Customer service is excellent! Will always stay here whenever we're back in Canberra
Access to gym and pool was pretty damn good with fantastic equipment for that great leisure experience
I love the modern vibe of this hotel. Every time we stay here, we always have good sleep
Burbury was good. Clean with well appointed rooms. Friendly staff. The air conditioning in my room was a bit too strong though. Felt like a dried prune in the morning.
Good/very friendly staff, quality rooms, clean and quite. But... the high end TV system regularly fails and NO HOT WATER on several occasions. Having said that; I like the place and I shall return.

Luxurious rooms with plenty of space. Very quiet, clean and maintained. $20 buffet breakfast at Marble & Grain was excellent value for money, hot and flavourful food.
very nice hotel, perfect location clean and spacious room, friendly staff, great experience. Parents-in-law were very impressed ? well picked!
Great accommodation with friendly staffs, affordable price, convenient location, modern decor and very clean bedding.
Loved the two bedroom apartment. Accommodated our whole family and was a lovely space to come back to every evening

Canberra, Cnr Canberra Ave & National Cct, Forrest 🧭 Map
The room is spacious but the layout could have been better with the TV sitting on top of the cabinet with the minibar followed by the desk, then on the opposite side of the room is a couch, but the couch is opposite the desk, so the TV is at an angle
Great place to stay. Clean room and friendly staff. We love the bathroom! I definitely would go back again.
Bed was comfy, but there were kids running amok up and down the hallways without supervision, the pool and spa had no water, unusable, the menu was very limited, breakfast was either over or undercooked, and the bathroom wasn't clean
TV in the room was old, small and the remote was not very responsive. Wouldn't bother with their buffet breakfast, pretty ordinary for $34 pp and a barista made coffee is an extra charge
But, I understand these locations are normally used by politicians and people who choose to wine and dine after a day at an art gallery. So this is by no means a deal breaker
Great location, and a modern feel. As a dad travelling with his son, I spent less than 5 minutes at the check-in desk. The room is well-furnished and very modern

Vibe Hotel Canberra
Canberra, 1 Rogan Street, Canberra International Airport 🧭 Map
Honestly the best I've been to!! Stayed for a week for a conference hosted at this venue. Staff would come in each day to give the room a quick clean, remake beds and clean the bathroom if needed, always spotless
The ambience is calm with a clean environment. But it’s the architecture that I fell in love with, it felt like I was in a futuristic-Gatsby-like place
Food was well done, no complaints regarding the food, good variety
So easy to walk to from Canberra Airport, straight out the terminal and about a 200m walk!! The staff were very friendly, the room service meals were of good quality and the accommodation itself was modern, clean and nice!
The only negative was, despite the air conditioner being very powerful and getting the room to the right temperature, with the vent being close to the roof, you couldn't really...
The only negative I have about this venue is that the public bathrooms on the first floor (specifically male) could have had a clean at the very least each day, if not more often, as there was often urine remains dried on the floor surrounding the urinals themselves, leaving a sticky effect on the bottom of my (and I suppose others) shoes
The moment we entered this hotel without saying hi/hello or even how are you. he told me to grab a trolley and take your stuff out from the car. He then process the payment and not even a single smile on a face

From the check in to the room and restaurant this place is amazing. The spa suite is comfortable and excellent for the price. The staff were super accommodating and professional. The restaurant and bar is 5 star
The room was of a good size and well laid out. We especially liked that it was at the room was at the back of the complex therefore on the quieter side. We had a dinner on our first night which was delicious
The staff were so pleasant and lovely, very attentive, particularly with my dietary requirements as I have coeliac disease, they offer gluten free toast with breakfast as per normal everyday, and have many gluten free options in the all day menu at both restaurant sections
We were only staying one night as we were on a trip further south but we wish we stayed longer because it was just so pleasant and honestly incredible. We will definitely be coming back here next time we come to Canberra
Our wedding here was the perfect relaxed vibe we were after. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the staff were all helpful and attentive. The food at the restaurant, our reception, and breakfast was wonderful
The event manager Sharfel was great to deal with and answered my many many questions! Extra special thank you to the f&b manager Gordon who went above and beyond to look after us on our day when sharfel was sadly away

Canberra, 39 Limestone Avenue, Braddon 🧭 Map
The property has old world charm and has very good sized rooms. It’s location is excellent in relation to the airport, main attractions and the city centre
The decision makers need to better respect the heritage and history of this hotel and actively promote and embrace it. It's a no-brainer that it would be good for business
You walk into a lovely 1920's heritage lobby and there is a neon Streets Icecream fridge right there, the bistro food is lacklustre (pasta night in particular seems to be supermarket ready made) and feels more like a low tier club
My feedback is purely from walking around and also eating at the bistro a handful of times. I haven't seen the accomodation. The "MERCURE" sign at the front really isnt great
Guarantee you'll do better looking after this hotel and its original charms rather than trying to make it into a generic mish mash of old and new
While there are glimpses of the hotels charm and heritage aesthetic on display, Mercure doesn't seem to want to be a custodian of this heritage

Picnic, Table tennis, Pool, Beach, Tennis court
Good pool complex but some shade cloth over a section of the pool would be welcome. Bar and restaurant open except Sunday eve. Restaurant open for breakfast too
Absolutely superb
We stayed in a Blue Gum Villa and it was amazing. Spotlessly clean and huge bedrooms. The bathroom was massive with modern fixtures and had more than enough large fluffy towels and other linens
The laundry is the most expensive of places we have stayed $6/load. The Reception staff are lovely but it would be good if they doubled staff during high peak times so there isn't such a long wait to check in
Fantastic amenities, camp kitchen was great to use, especially with the cooler weather at night. It’s central to most things, has a great small playground and other sporting facilities for the the kids to play
we went to watch the rugby, the accommodation was close but also comfortable. The extra amenities were more than any other caravan park. the restaurant was the best!
The air conditioning was very efficient and warmed the villa up in no time and we loved using the Nespresso machine for coffees. It was quiet, lots of parking and the buffet breakfast had lots of variety

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Peppers Gallery. The rooms are nicely furnished, spacious and have a palatial feel to them
The stay in the 2-bedroom apartment at Peppers Canberra was exceptionally pleasant! The spacious and well-appointed accommodation provided a comfortable home away from home, making our experience even more enjoyable
The hotel's cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and comfortable amenities added to the overall delight of our stay. Highly recommended for a memorable and relaxing experience in the city
Great spot to walk around Canberra. Room are clean shower is hot. Bar cocktails are delicious. Breakfast is excellent value and very good. Staff are all helpful and friendly.
This accomodation was top notch. Amazing staff always smiling & helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was magnificent & so warm during the cold nights. Staff went far & beyond for all our needs
Fantastic heritage building hotel. Love love love! I was so relaxed and comfortable. Everything was wonderful and I wish all my hotel stays were like this one

I cannot wait to go back!
Honestly the best place I've ever stayed at. Everyone from the gentleman who took my call to the lovely ladies at reception and the staff at the restaurant were so friendly and helpful
Our bulldog had his own bed, complete with a pillow, as well as new toys, food, and a personalised letter. The bar and breakfast were both excellent. Everything was fantastic, and we will definitely return
I enjoyed my overall stay at Ovolo. The whole vibes of the hotel is so fun and I love the interior in general. They offer a lot of free amenities and the service was good
The bathroom walls are glass so you can see a silhouette of everything. The location is good if you have a car
Only small minor thing is for a couples stay with a king/queen bed, they had two single beds together. But a thoroughly enjoyable stay overall and I will continue to stay here whenever I’m in Canberra
They even gave me complimentary wine and free dessert! The architecture is stunning and really thought out. I wish I had stayed longer to be able to fully appreciate all this hotel has to offer

Quality Hotel Dickson
Canberra, Corner Badham and Cape Streets, Dickson 🧭 Map
We would stay here again for sure. Rooms were clean and hotel all smelled lovely. Free parking with multiple exit passes given. Such a good location central to so many food options
I had asked for a quiet room and you kindly arranged that for me. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional
Dated rooms, ours had missing tiles in the shower. Just clean enough but certainly could be better for the money. Very helpful and friendly staff and there’s lots of good restaurants nearby.
Location is good, close to lots of eateries. Rooms were spacious and they had undercover parking. On the negative side the mattress was old and uncomfortable and the bathroom was mouldy
Hence I now have my mobile charger back and I am pleased to declare the honesty and efficiency of the staff members who worked there and those that made the attempt to return my personal belongings
Central to a lot of shops and eateries. Room had a fridge, microwave pod coffee machine. Quiet at night
We checked in a little earlier than 2. Lady on the desk was very helpful

Great location being beside the shopping centre. Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of areas for walking and good to have a look around
This inexpensive hotel is good for cheap business travel if you have business in Tuggeranong. It’s not convenient to Canberra really
1mt clear and guest parking could be outlined or signed a little better. Other than that I think I'll be happy to stay here for the week while I work away from home
Reception and cleaning staff are amazing. They make you feel like you're at home. They also have this delicious café at the bottom that is a must go and see
Close to the bus interchange like literally 1min walk and like 2min walk from the main mall and restaurants in the suburb
I stayed for 3 weeks for business and while my room was serviced daily it consisted of making the bed and changing the towels. After three weeks it could really have used a vacuum and a wipe down

Nishi Apartments Eco Living by Ovolo
Canberra, 25 Edinburgh Avenue 🧭 Map
Arguably the best boutique hotel in Australia. Amazing Architecture, fabulous and challenging design, approachable, interesting and eclectic staff.
It's more of an experience than a hotel. As someone mentioned earlier, every nook every corner of this place has something unique, antique or specially commissioned. If you like boutique quirky hotels, you will love it.
Canberra has pockets of hidden treasures. It's got a cinema, I'm sure the hotel rooms are nice, and the restaurant does pretty good food. The artwork inside the hotel makes it standout
The design throughout seems to reject the notion that a capital city must be drab and dull - and begs curious travels to come to Canberra, if only to spend a night in between the pages of this art book
) You're equally likely to rub elbows with chic design fanatics as you are the Parliamentarian crowd when the session is in. The rooms are a master's class in modernism; in this hotel texture is King
Great design and amazing staff. So friendly. The hotel had a warm atmosphere. We stayed in the Meandering atrium as well as another room, and both were lovely rooms for a romantic getaway.

The bathroom was a bit tired but clean, plently of secure parking underneath. In particular we found the location excellent. Two streets over from Lonsdale st and a big shopping centre
Great apartment, friendly staff, key pick up was nice and easy, location was great, Central to everything making it easy to get around, overall a great experience recommend it for families and reasonably priced for what you get
We are both 70 and found no difficulty getting everywhere on foot. Also want to comment on Emma her went great pains to send us an adaptor we left there which wouldhave cost us $80 to replace
We recently stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was hugh, full kitchen, big lounge dinner and a comfortable bed

Comfortable beds, friendly staff and good location with everything you need near by without heading into the city. Rooms are not sound proof so not good for sleeping in.
Carpets and doona grubby and shower could use a good scrub, bed was comfortable albeit the pillows were tiny. A pod coffee maker is available in the room but only 2 pods available the rooms overall are on the small side
Great location able to walk to shops restaurants and entertainment.
Clean, well presented rooms, staff were lovely and helpful.
Was a great place to stay at! Loved you had a washer and dryer provided in the rooms too! Will definitely stay here again!
Easy access to nice barista coffee at Macca's and with KMart and Target just around the corner any last minutes things you forget on your travels can be easily picked up
Reasonably priced, clean, well appointed, modern serviced apartments conveniently located in Gungahlin town centre. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance

Statesman Hotel
Canberra, Corner Strangway and Theodore Street 🧭 Map
For the price we paid, it's a great hotel. In the best condition but was very clean, good beds, good shower and enough goodies to keep you going overnight. Good location - only 7 minutes to the zoo and arboretum
Great steaks, amazing and creative chicken dishes, chips were undescribably hot and fresh (no old vat oil in sight). One of the best venue transformations I've encountered
The beds are the best I’ve slept in apart from home, and for a keenly priced hotel that’s a nice surprise. Food and drink - good beers and a really good wine list
I had a couple of dishes and the vegetable curry, though it sounds plain, was really tasty and well presented. I didn’t get to explore the full digital concierge and other online facilities but did note the zipping wifi
Fantastically helpful and friendly staff sorted this problem quickly and easily by giving us ground floor rooms. Rooms are well-renovated, beds were comfortable and the motel is quiet
I liked the fact that the colours mimic the green and red from Parliament (in the Left Wing and the Right Wing, of course) and the rooms are jus that you need

I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs and this is one of the best I've seen. Clean and very comfortable bedroom, fantastic breakfast and great hosts. I thought the other reviews were too good to be true but I was wrong
My last day I had to leave ridiculously early to catch a flight and when I got up Mark was up before me to make my breakfast!
If you have the chance to make it for dinner I would recommend it as it is well worth the extra cost
