I have stayed at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra numerous times and this hotel never disappoints. The hotel has a historic charm to it and it never gets old
We like the hotel and it met our expectations. Highly recommended
A great stay in the Nation’s Capital. A place full of history and heritage. Loved the rooms, which had a very comfortable size and breakfast had a very good selection of diverse meals
You need to cross the road to get to the gym and swimming pool. This is inconvenient when the weather is cold or rainy
Hotel parking was AUD30 in their underground carpark. They recommended for us to park on the street parking. Paid parking for daytime from 8. Popular landmarks of Canberra was within minutes drive from the hotel
Hyatt Hotel is located beside Lake Burley Griffin. Easy to reach by car but seems like there is not much public transport nearby. We rented a car for our trip in Canberra so accessibility wasn’t an issue for us

We were fortunate enough to have the Fathers day brunch this year and oh boy it did not disappoint. Bubbles on arrival, a wide selection of beers for the men in our lives and the most delectable spread of food
Went to the restaurant for dinner Tuesday 17 January and had the best service from Sarah. Not only was she upbeat and welcoming, she worked spectacularly with the other floor and wait staff
All made incredibly special by the attentive staff. What a lovely morning/afternoon
Very nice room with a view of the lake, good amenities (dyson hairdryer was appreciated), and really nice quality shower products. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to Canberra centre and good restaurants
Stayed for a work conference for a few days and had no issues being in the hotel most of the time. Plenty of spaces to sit and have private conversations and also great spaces to share larger groups
Dinner at the in-house restaurant was tasty (I had the steak), my only complaint is that when sitting outside for dinner there are no tables at the right height for eating

Great place for an overnight sleep or longer Excellent staff very helpful and friendly. Nice indoor pool and spa and has a gym very well set out.
Second time staying here, the indoor pool was nice, just under 20m in length and but the jacuzzi was a bit small for the number of guests staying at the hotel
Very nice hotel. Specially stay with children’s and family members . My kids really enjoyed it.
Large clean room. Friendly staff. Central location close to many of Canberra’s attractions.
One thing that stood out as a bit off-putting was the parking fee — $25 per night seemed steep, especially considering the overall value of the stay. On a more positive note, the breakfast was definitely the highlight
I recently stayed at Rydges Canberra and, overall, found the experience to be quite average. The hotel didn’t quite live up to my expectations — while it wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t particularly memorable

Returned to The Avenue a few years after being a regular. They haven't missed a beat! Room is immaculate, super comfortable beds, great pillows, great amenities and outstanding service
Add to this the great food, prompt room service and friendly staff and I'd rate The Avenue as the best in Canberra and best value
No decision fatigue of what to have as it was only a small buffet. Location - walkable to the city centre and even Lake Burley Griffin. Secure parking is available at the basement at $20 per night
Service- check in and check out was fast. No invoice was offered at checkout though. I thought this was a feature of the express checkout, but no email of the folio was sent
Breakfast service at the restaurant was friendly. They served the same fare every morning except for a couple of hot side dishes. My husband loved that he knew what to expect but with anticipation of the new dish
Good location and easy to find restaurants nearby, room facilities (such as washing machine, microwave and balcony) are very well. The breakfast is delicious!

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, we had breakfasts in the morning- hubby loved it and they had option for vegan as well. Only con is smelling cigarettes while we walking to the room
We were married in September 2022 at Hotel Kurrajong, after a year of planning with Michaela. It was a beautiful and picturesque day, filled with love and joy, followed by a rock and roll celebration
Old charm meets modern amenities. We loved our short stay at hotel Kurrajong. From the entrance with the fireplace and warm and helpful staff to the garden for pre dinner drinks
Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience
Very good hotel, we’ve stayed here a few times already. Food is great and staff members are friendly. We would recommend the hotel to other people.
The hotel is classic, the rooms are comfortable and parking is convenient!

Vibe is a stunning building with an amazing bar and restaurant area. Walking distance to the airport.
Even though it is located next to an airport terminal, you could not hear any noise from outside even with the curtains opened!
Large clean rooms. Very convenient location, easy walk to the airport. Friendly staff.
If you make a quick trip to Canberra for leisure, I recommend this hotel, which locates just 10 min walk from the terminal building.  It is super convenient to hop a R3 bus to the city center.
Fifth time staying at the Vibe Canberra & it always lives up to expectations. Reception check in very quick, food was exceptional & staff were extremely polite & courteous
Highly recommended! Three minute walk to the airport which is very handy for an early morning flight

It's only 5 minutes away from Parliament Hill in Canberra. It's in the center of the city. Next to it is the Burbury Hotel, but this hotel has excellent value for money
Other than that, everything is perfect, especially when we checked in the first night, the front desk staff went to the garage to teach my husband how to park the car
This is the best hotel I've stayed in. The staff are warm and considerate. The room is big, new and smells good. There were 4 people here this time and we had an extra bed in the living room
They also have a Christmas workshop set up way before Christmas. The room was very nicely decorated with ample of space for crafting and small table for some drinks
They also served milk in the workshop room, but I had concerns that the milk was there from the morning for the whole day and that it was not kept chilled, which might not be good for the kids to consume
We stayed over Christmas and it was lovely for the kids. They were welcomed with gift packs full of mini-games, not just the normal colouring papers and pencils

Having not stayed at the Mantra on Northbourne for a few years, and reading the recent reviews, I was a little concerned that one of my favourite apartment style hotels in Canberra, may no longer be one of my favourites! However
The waiter's attitude was very good and the room was in good condition. But you must bring your own slippers, as the hotel does not provide them
the apartments are still great! The 2 bedroom apartment we had allocated was; - clean - comfortable - had all the expected amenities Further, staff at reception could not have been more helpful and caring
Hopefully, with the return of travel, they will again open their restaurant as that is still closed - with many people again dining out, it would return this hotel back to it's pre-2020 glory days!
The Mantra on Northbourne is still a great place to stay and I look forward to travelling to Canberra a little more often again, and staying here soon
We had a lovely room (901). Decor is getting a bit tired but the room was very clean, large, and a comfortable king size bed. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. Recommended.

We were only staying one night as we were on a trip further south but we wish we stayed longer because it was just so pleasant and honestly incredible. We will definitely be coming back here next time we come to Canberra
Clean, friendly staff, easy service
A beautiful relaxing setting, tastefully decorated with the indoor gardens and palm trees. The restaurant and bar are open to suit any traveler’s time schedule. The rooms are clean, fresh and very comfortable
The staff were so pleasant and lovely, very attentive, particularly with my dietary requirements as I have coeliac disease, they offer gluten free toast with breakfast as per normal everyday, and have many gluten free options in the all day menu at both restaurant sections
They configured the beds the way we wanted. We loved the indoor plants, especially my toddler. Light rail is a short walk away. Buffet breakfast was awesome!
Took my relatives from overseas to visit Canberra. The hotel is in a great location plus parking is free. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Surprisingly the buffet breakfast was nice and value for money

Pool: Indoor pool (all year)
It seems the hotel design is to blame, as the lifts are not centrally located like in most hotels. One of the biggest letdowns was the pool
Room service was a standout; the meal we ordered was amazing and well above expectations. There were, however, a couple of service issues. We ordered and paid for two bottles of water but only received one
Staff were very friendly and accommodating but it’s the little things… the notes, the small complimentary toiletries, various artwork, strong water pressure, friendly banter, hairdryer in the room, displays cabinets, architecture and views from the dining areas
Food quality The food served during the conference was not the best, with many items fried and lacking variety. Coffee quality Filtered coffee was offered as standard, with barista coffee costing extra
Noise from the adjacent room was clearly audible, which reduced comfort and privacy. Lost key policy The $100 charge for a lost key felt high, especially as it was not communicated clearly at check-in
There were some positives, but several aspects of my stay fell below expectations for the price. Room privacy My room was connected to another via an internal door with very limited sound insulation

This accomodation was top notch. Amazing staff always smiling & helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was magnificent & so warm during the cold nights. Staff went far & beyond for all our needs
Fantastic heritage building hotel. Love love love! I was so relaxed and comfortable. Everything was wonderful and I wish all my hotel stays were like this one
Close to everything & within walking distance to the City Centre. HIGHLY RECOMMEND & we would love to return!
This hotel had the advantage of not being a high rise building, and it made the experience better too
Quite and spacious rooms in a historic building. Friendly staffs. We had enjoyed our stay.
The staff has a good service attitude! But the facilities are simple and shabby! Not recommended!

Myself, son and puppy stayed here for two nights, we had a queen room, it was very clean, the bed was so comfy. The amenities were awesome we spent a lot of time by the pool which was great for tiring out my two year old
I was disappointed that the gardens had some serious noxious weeds growing in them, feral rabbits were eating the desired plants, the pool table was out of order, the tennis court lights didn't work and the awnings needed a good pressure clean
I won’t lie I read the reviews before we arrived and I didn’t have high expectations but they have blown the low expectations out of the park. Would highly recommend and would 100% stay here again
We ate dinner on Tuesday night as the dinner service isn’t open on Monday nights. the two young female staff in the diner went above and beyond, absolutely outstanding service, food was good
The surroundings is lush nature. People at the front desk were happy kind and very helpful
Excellent service and extremely happy customers

Alivio Tourist Park ticks all the boxes. Great choice of accommodation. Lots of fun activities in the park including a swimming pool and spa, tennis court and table tennis. We had a ball!
Had breakfast there as well which was also nice but probably a bit too expensive to do it each day. Staff were very friendly and accommodating
Had a lovely 2 night stay at Alivio, travelled to Canberra to attend a wedding. Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was everything we needed
We were able to have dinner at the onsite restaurant so we didn’t have to go out and didn’t have to cater for our own meals
Good privacy, fully equipped kitchen
Toilet is blocked which we didn't expect......but the location is not bad.

This two bedroom apartment is very modern and comfortable. Bed mattress is plush and supporting. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I love the modern vibe of this hotel. Every time we stay here, we always have good sleep
a very comfortable and nice hotel for driver, we should have stayed more days!
We stayed in the one bedroom appartments and it was perfect accommodation. Clean warm and high end. The best accommodation we’ve found in Canberra.
Price was fantastic in comparison to the service that they provided. Rooms were always filled with fresh sheets, towels and the appropriate necessities each day
Access to gym and pool was pretty damn good with fantastic equipment for that great leisure experience

Neatly presented stylish rooms that cater for all group sizes. Although the bathrooms are outdated but do provide shampoo etc if you forget to pack yours
It's not a 5 star hotel but it is exactly what it says it is. Had a strange noise from outside keeping me awake and the male receptionist was kind enough to move me to another room at 11pm. Great service and tidy rooms.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfy, especially the beds. The location was convenient to the attractions of Canberra and the large shopping centre nearby
The location was convenient next to the shops. One gem is the Turkish restaurant called Little Instabul. Great food and walking distant
We had an excellent stay at Alpha Hotel over Easter! A large group of us travelled from all over and used it as our home base. We hadn't been there in years, but it lived up to our good memories
Rooms neat and tidy with all amenities good for a comfortsble stay. Very quiet and good value for money. Adjacent clubs, shops and services were all within very close and easy walking distance

This is all you need for a one day and night stay. They have a pool , recreation area with books and some playing cards and boards
Nice practical hotel. Easy bus and taxi access to city. Golf course next door. Small outdoor swimming pool. Rooms a bit old but comfortable. No security locks on doors. Hallway noise is louder than should be.
I’m staying in an outdated caravan park for double the price per night tomorrow and I’d rather stay here. Clean, modern enough and spacious easily fitting the four of us. The gentleman at reception was really pleasant
Can’t speak highly enough of the service and the room value. We stayed here in a last minute situation while we had new flooring going into our home
Only things I’d recommend was extra pillows and bottled water/soft drinks in the fridges

My schedule changed and I canceled one day at the hotel, but they were willing to negotiate with me. Thank you very much! The hotel is in a good location, has parking, and the rooms and bathrooms are very large
Great hotel, affordable, good location with lots of restaurants and a convention centre nearby. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds
Stayed one night and was offered two breakfast vouchers which we used to order a big feed in the morning, what a pleasant surprise.
This hotel in Kansas City is pretty good. It was nice to stop for a night's rest on the way to Melbourne.
We would stay here again for sure. Rooms were clean and hotel all smelled lovely. Free parking with multiple exit passes given. Such a good location central to so many food options
Overall, it is a very cost-effective hotel, and it is worth staying at around 700!

The furniture that still graces it's room was designed by Fred Ward, Australians leading industrial designer of the period. University House has been listed on the Register of the National Estate since 2022
Old world, simple but spacious & clean. Very comfy bed, nice treed view. The cafe was good though bar service there was slow. Easy to get around & helpful staff. Perfect place for a conference
The house was designed by Prof Brian Lewis of the University of Melbourne, drawing inspiration from the colleges of Cambridge and Oxford University, and from newer European universities
Loved the location, close to the city center, peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spacious, and air-conditioned with a balcony. Definitely recommend it.
The landscape of University House is very fascinating, particularly during autumn. It has beautiful mapple trees

The breakfasts and tonight's room service dinner was so yummy and for such a good price, best we have eaten in Canberra this visit. Thank you again for wonderful and professional service
We enjoyed our recent two-night stay at the Best Western in Canberra. As a base for a short trip, it offered great value for money and a quiet, comfortable experience
The location is convenient, particularly with the free on-site parking, and it's just a short drive to the Parliamentary Triangle and the shops and restaurants in Manuka and Kingston
Big room with an interesting mini bar. The breakfast variety was great as well. One downside is that Ctrip has some misleading pictures about the hotel.
It's our place to stay when we visit family in Canberra. Would recommend it who want comfortable beds and lovely rooms plus meals and also a beautiful pool
Service was great! Place was clean, bed was very comfortable. It's easy to find with parking on-site. Good breakfast provided is an added bonus!

Great location when you’re in Canberra. About 15 mins walk to Kingston shops and restaurants. 5 mins walk to Good Neighbourhood Cafe on Wentworth Avenue. Major Canberra tourist sites not far away.
Popular hotel as they claimed to be fully booked when i requested for early checkin. Hotel room is on the ground level, has basement parking. Has a small area with gym equipments and a closed outdoor swimming pool
It was a short family trip. My kids and wife liked the place. The pool was closed for pollen though, overall the experience was great.
First time at this hotel. Brilliant large room. Beautiful breakfast !! Very friendly staff especially at the front desk. Great location near Kingston food precinct. Excellent all round !!
Also I really like the shower gel / body lotion provided by the hotel - these all 5 stars hotel standard. The only thing I can criticize to the hotel is it should replace the shower head
Our internet service wasn’t good / and shower had a little bit issues. The hotel service is excellent. in the room it provide coffee machine / kettle - Italy good brand
