Nice classy hotel with very clean rooms and charming breakfast restaurant.

We stayed for the Canberra Marathon Festival. The location was close to the main event area, and there is a cafe and a foodstore close by.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The area is quiet but there are a few restaurant's and bars along the lake about a 10-minute walk away. Uber's were always only a minute away. We had a great time seeing the sights, a lot of them are within walking distance from the hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, we had breakfasts in the morning- hubby loved it and they had option for vegan as well.

Only con is smelling cigarettes while we walking to the room. There were too many smokers in the courtyard along the hallway.

Very good hotel, we’ve stayed here a few times already. Food is great and staff members are friendly. We would recommend the hotel to other people.

Old charm meets modern amenities. We loved our short stay at hotel Kurrajong. From the entrance with the fireplace and warm and helpful staff to the garden for pre dinner drinks. Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience.

The view from the breakfast room is lovely from the verandah. The open fire in the lobby is charming. Staff are very friendly, helpful and patient. They offered umbrellas when it rained and parking advice. They didn't argue when I'd been over-charged for food and drink. The hotel has lots of character. Loved the history. We both really enjoyed our Ben Chifley tour at MoAD too, that includes my 21 year old son.

Like it so much. Room was tidy, except chair, had spots. Bathroom is awesome as well as mattress on bed. Breakfast was average, but way too expensive 28$ in the morning, 20 at the reception day before

Room? Clean and well appointed.
Staff? Friendly and helpful although some were clearly not well trained/didn’t know what to do.
Food? Breakfast food was okay, dinner at the restaurant was slightly better but never fantastic. (I wouldn’t go here just for a meal)
Drinks? Good coffee, nice selection of drinks and very accommodating bar staff (Sam mainly)
Facilities? Very good, all classic and stylish. I would love to see an outdoor pool here.

I would go back and I would recommend. No secure parking is a letdown but given their location and the buildings history it can be understood.
