Warm welcoming feeling as we entered the unit.
We arrived late, and hotel has enabled online check in for us with codes sent securely.
We would stay here again when we return to the Gold Coast.
Highly recommended!
Issues:
The washing machine was full with soaked unwashed towels when I arrived. There were however fresh towels available for use.
No breakfast.
One of the 2 elevators was out of service during my entire stay and the other one was often quite busy taking ages to arrive.
Pool was large but freezing cold.
Pros:
Bed was very comfortable. The outdoor Jacuzzi was nice. Staff were very friendly when available (no one present at reception after hours)

However, the biggest letdown and the primary reason we would not stay here again was the hotel's approach to service. For a seven-night stay, we were only provided with a two-day supply of shampoo, conditioner, and washing-up liquid. We were also surprised to find there was no housekeeping service at all during our week-long visit, and no cleaning equipment was available in the room.
As a result, the floor became dirty and sandy, which was very unpleasant. Adding to our frustration, we discovered that fresh towels were a paid option, and a washing machine was not provided in the room. It seemed as though the hotel forces guests to either pay for extra housekeeping or accept staying in an unclean environment.
Additionally, our room experienced a lot of road noise, making it unpleasant to sit on the balcony. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
While the amenities were impressive, the lack of basic cleanliness services and the policy of charging for essentials left a very poor impression. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone planning a longer stay unless they are prepared to handle all cleaning themselves or pay extra for the basics. We felt we had paid a lot of money to stay here and should not have to pay even more for cleanliness. It's a real shame as it could of been great.
